Earlier this year, Razer revealed its plans to develop and ship Smart face masks by the end of this year. The brand has made good on its promise and has finally revealed the Zephyr, a Smart RGB face mask designed for gamers to use during the pandemic.
What is Razer’s Zephyr?
Zephyr is Razer’s newest offering. The Smart mask has replaceable N95 filters and a dual fan active air filtration system that’s claimed to not only protect the user, but also those around them. The transparent front cover has silicone edges so that the mask can create a secure seal around the mouth and nose, ensuring protection from germs and viruses. Additionally, it has anti-fog coating and interior lights, along with the exterior RGB lights that you can control via your smartphone. The interior lights have been added to the product to ensure that the wearer’s face is visible in the dark.
How much does Razer’s Smart Face Mask Cost?
Razer’s Smart Face Mask reportedly costs $100 (Rs 7,485 approx converted) for the mask itself, or $150 for the starter kit, which includes three replaceable N95 filters. Each filter is priced at $30 if you plan to buy them individually.
The masks are already out of stock on Razer’s website, and it may be a while before everyone can get their hands on them.

Clubhouse has disrupted the social media world with its audio-only chat rooms, demonstrating that valuable content still has a space online. In an effort to emulate the same, Twitter launched its own version known as Spaces in November 2020. Users who had over 600 followers could host a space anytime. Now, Twitter has introduced two new developments, the ability to hold Ticketed Spaces, and the ability to host a Space irrespective of your follower count.
Twitter is investing heavily in Spaces
Ever since the launch of spaces, Twitter has demonstrated a keen interest in growing the platform. Over the course of a year, Twitter has added new functionalities to Spaces, including the ability to add co-hosts, up to 10 speakers (to create a panel), and a separate fund for creators leveraging Spaces, known as the Spark Program.
Now, it wants everyone to use Spaces to grow their Twitter following. It will even help creators develop a new revenue stream with the help of its Ticketed Spaces.
Clubhouse initially began as an invite-only platform, perhaps to create the same hype that OnePlus smartphones had when they initially launched with their invite-only sales. The new social media platform abandoned the invite-only mode in July this year, believing it had garnered as much as it could out of it. Twitter, on the other hand, is a little late in making Spaces available to everyone and it will be interesting to see whether this gap will impact customer adoption.

The update improved site isolation and phishing detection, along with Face ID / Touch ID support for incognito tabs on iOS. Google has now started rolling out Chrome 93 on the stable channel, and has made a couple of minor changes. According to a report on 9to5Google, Chrome 93 makes a small change to the Recently Closed menu, which lets you view all the sites in a recently closed collection and open them individually. You can try this feature by activating chrome: // flags / # tab-restore-submenus flag.
Chrome 93 will now also display Google Drive documents on the New Tab page. The proposed documents will appear on a map below the search box, so you can easily access recently edited Google Docs or Spreadsheets.
Let’s dive into the Dev Tools in Chrome93. You can now view and edit CSS container queries in the styles pane. Container queries give a much more dynamic approach to responsiveness. The alias container query works in a similar way to an alias media query however, instead of querying the viewport, the alias container queries the ancestor container that matches certain criteria.
In the elements panel, click on a dom element with container queries. Dev tools will now display the container information in the style panes and you can edit the size of the container information by hovering the mouse over it to highlight the container element on the page and check the container size.
You can now preview the web bundle content in the network panel. Web bundle is a file format for encapsulating one or more HTTP resources in a single file and it can also include or more Html files, Javascript files images, or stylesheets. The interesting use case is you can share websites as a single web bundle file over Bluetooth with your friends and they can run them offline in your origins contacts.

In order to make the platform more creative and safe, Instagram will ask its users to update their birthday. This will allow the company to create new safety features for young people, and personalize user experience to provide the right experience to the right age group. This information also allows Instagram to restrict advertiser targeting options for audiences under the age of 18, to more people. And helps Instagram show users more relevant ads.
This work began a few years ago when Instagram started asking people for their birthdays
While Instagram has birthdays for most users, to get a more complete picture, the company will introduce two new changes. These changes only apply to people who haven’t already shared their birthday.
Also Read: Instagram to bombard you with more ads, this time in the Shop Tab
First, the app will ask you for your birthday when you open the application. Then I'll show you a notification a handful of times and if users haven’t provided their birthday by a certain point, users need to share it to continue using the app. This information is necessary for new features that the company develops to protect young people.
Second,if you continue to see a warning screen placed on a post, Instagram will ask you for your birthday before you can see the post. These screens aren't new as Instagram has already shown them on posts that may be sensitive or graphic, but don’t currently ask for your birthday when viewing these posts. Now, the app I'll start asking for your birthday on some of these screens if you haven’t shared it with them previously.
Instagram recognized some people may give them the wrong birthday
The company is developing new systems to address this. As it stated recently, Instagram uses artificial intelligence to estimate how old people are based on things like “Happy Birthday” posts. In the future, if someone says they are above a certain age, and the company's technology says otherwise, the app will show you a menu of options to verify your age. This work is still in the early stages, and the company is looking forward to sharing more details soon.
All changes are made to improve the safety and experience of young users.
Krafton Inc recently posted a few FAQs on its official Battlegrounds Mobile India website, which gave us a sneak peek at some of the features that the developers are working on. The developers answered questions around Hindi voice packs and support for an emulator version.
Battlegrounds Mobile India: Hindi voice packs
Krafton notes that its team is currently reviewing the addition of a Hindi voice pack in Battlegrounds Mobile India. However, nothing is set in stone and the company will inform users if the same is confirmed. Considering the fact that Battlegrounds Mobile India is exclusive to the country, it does make sense to release voice-packs in regional languages.
Battlegrounds Mobile India: Prime subscriptions
Besides voice packs, there are also other features that the developers are reviewing internally. This includes the addition of a ‘Prime Subscription’ service. This will allow players to pay a certain amount at regular intervals, and enjoy certain benefits. This could be in the form of in-game items such as outfits, weapon skins, and more.
Also Read: Battlegrounds Mobile India Bans 1,81,578 Accounts Between Aug 6 And Aug 12
Battlegrounds Mobile India: Bonus Challenges
There is also the question of Bonus Challenges in the game. Once again, the developers note that they are reviewing it internally and users will be informed of the same once it is confirmed. Bonus Challenges gives players the chance to earn in-game items and rewards by completing certain tasks and challenges. It should be noted that the global version of PUBG Mobile has Bonus Challenges.
Battlegrounds Mobile India: Cheaters
Krafton notes that Battlegrounds Mobile India has a 24-hour security system in place to detect and ban cheaters. However, besides this security system, the developers search and investigate the promotion/use of illegal programs on websites. Further, if users find any channels advertising or promoting the use of such programs, they are asked to contact the game's Customers Service for review.
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S22 Series will most likely launch with the flagship Snapdragon 898 SoC. The new report from South Korea indicates that only some regions will get the Exynos 2200 SoC powered Samsung Galaxy S22 series smartphones. In an earlier report, we explained how chip shortage and production issues are forcing Samsung to limit the supply of Exynos powered Galaxy S22 smartphones.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Specs And Features
The latest leak confirms that important markets like Europe will get the Exynos 2200 powered Samsung Galaxy S22 series smartphones. Surprisingly, North America is not on the list and will get the Snapdragon 898 version of the upcoming Galaxy S22 smartphones instead. However, an Exynos 2200 variant could make it to American shores but will likely remain exclusive to the Verison Wireless network.
The upcoming Exynos 2200 SoC features AMD powered graphics that’ll take mobile gaming to the next solution.
