Vivo TWS 3 and TWS 3 Pros renders surface online, to release later this month with X90 series

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo is about to release the X90 series this month. Although the company recently confirmed the launch of the Vivo X90 series, rumours and reports around it had been circulating on the internet for a while. Now from one such source, we have learned that along with the new smartphone series, Vivo will also reveal two new audio products.

Vivo TWS 3 and TWS 3 Pro to launch soon

They are called Vivo TWS 3 and Vivo TWS 3 Pro and will come as the company's next generation of truly wireless earphones. Ahead of the official launch, MySmartPrice has managed to get its hands on the renders of the TWS earphones in collaboration with Indian tipster Ishan Agarwal.

First, let's talk about the Vivo TWS 3. The wireless earbuds will come as the successor to the Vivo TWS 2, released in 2021, in two different colours, including White and Blue. While the blue variant will have a matte finish, the white variant will come with a glossy finish.

As seen in the renders, the in-ear style earbuds look like the AirPods Pro by Apple, as they have a similar short stem and oval housing. The charging case of the earbuds has a green LED indicator for the battery. However, this is the extent of information available about the Vivo TWS 3.

The second product, i.e., Vivo TWS 3 Pro, will come in two colours - white and a combination of blue and black. The Vivo TWS 3 Pro looks similar to the TWS 3 in terms of design and the shape of the charging case. Apart from this, there is no information about the specifications of the earbuds. Although, it could be safe to speculate that the TWS 3 Pro will feature active noise cancellation as it carries the Pro moniker in its name.

Canva can now create images based on text prompts through Stable Diffusion integration

Popular content creation platform Canva has integrated Stable Diffusion's text-to-image model and will now enable users to generate images by typing text-based commands. Canva's text-to-image tool works in a manner that asks users to describe the image they want to see with prompts.

Canva has a new text-to-image tool

We tried creating some photos with Canva's text-to-image tool, and the results were impressive. The image showcased above is what the platform generated upon typing "dog riding a cycle." The feature is under development. Hence, users can expect the results to get better with time.

The new Text-to-Image will be available to Canva's over 100 million users, allowing them to convert their imagination into images as they type a text-based description of their images. To try it, users should open Canva’s website, create a design, and click on more in the menu towards their left. Then, they should locate the Text-to-Image tool and start by typing in the description of their image and selecting the type of image they wish to generate.

While Canva allows users to generate new images using text-to-speech AI developed by Stable Diffusion, it also enables users to report images that might contain violence, hate speech, nudity or other inappropriate content.

For instance, a sample prompt on the platform reads, "a light watercolour painting of koi fish in a pond." Additionally, users can choose from various styles, including photo, drawing, 3D, painting and pattern. With the tool, Canva will offer users 100 images per day.

Canva co-founder says that the tool is "still being developed"

In an interview with The Verge, Canva's co-founder and chief product officer Cameron Adams said, "we're treating this as very much a learning experience for our community." Adding to it, Adams mentions that "we're keen to get this technology in front of them because it's an emergent field, and the exact way it works and how customers will interact with it is still being developed."

Heres how much Intellexa spyware group charges to hack into Android and iOS devices

A little known spyware company, Intellexa, is now competing with Pegasus developer NSO Group, offering its services to hack into Android and iOS devices for a fee of $8 million (around Rs 64 crore). Malware source code provider Vx-underground found documents representing a proposal from Intellexa, offering services that include Android and iOS device exploits. "Leaked documents online show the purchase (and documentation of) an $8,000,000 iOS Remote Code Execution zero-day exploit," it tweeted. The offer includes 10 infections for iOS and Android devices, as well as a "magazine of 100 successful infections". According to Security Week, the documents, "labeled as proprietary and confidential", revealed that the exploits should work on iOS 15.4.1 and the latest Android 12 update. Apple released iOS 15.4.1 in March, which suggests that the offer is recent. "Specifically, the offering is for remote, one-click browser-based exploits that allow users to inject a payload into Android or iOS mobile devices," the report mentioned. Intellexa is based in Europe, with six sites and R&D labs throughout the continent. "We help law enforcement and intelligence agencies across the world to close the digital gap with multiple and diverse solutions, all integrated with our unique and best-in-class Nebula platform," the company posted on its website. Last year, a Citizen Lab report mentioned Intellexa, on Cytrox's predator iPhone spyware being used to target a Greek lawmaker. Citizen Lab said Cytrox was part of the Intellexa Alliance, described as a "a marketing label for a range of mercenary surveillance vendors that emerged in 2019". Apple filed a lawsuit last year against NSO Group to ban the company from using its services and devices. As state-sponsored cyber attacks with government spyware like Pegasus grow, Apple is offering Lockdown Mode this fall with iOS 16, iPadOS 16, and macOS Ventura. This mode offers specialised additional protection to high-profile users who may be at risk of highly targeted attacks from private companies developing state-sponsored mercenary spyware. In India, the Pegasus panel said this week that the presence of controversial Israeli spyware Pegasus was not conclusively established in 29 mobile phones examined, and the government did not cooperate in the probe. The top court-appointed panel said five out of 29 mobile phones were possibly infected with some malware, but that does not mean it was Pegasus spyware.

Zomato could soon let you order groceries through the main platform: Heres how

Zomato on Saturday kicked off a pilot test of delivering groceries via Blinkit on its main platform in Delhi-NCR, as the online food aggregator aims to "accelerate" the 10-minute delivery platform's journey to profitability. The pilot test is currently being organised at select circles in Delhi-NCR, and after analysing the response, it will be expanded to other cities as well. "Blinkit tab in Zomato app is currently a pilot running at few locations for a small set of customers. We will share more details on this in due course,"A Zomato spokesperson told IANS. Currently, those part of the pilot project can order for a minimum order value of Rs 150 via Blinkit on Zomato's main app, while on Zomato, it remains Rs 49. Once the acquisition of Blinkit is closed, Zomato will experiment with cross leveraging its customers base for Blinkit and vice versa, its Founder and CEO Deepinder Goyal has stressed. "The Blinkit app will continue to operate independently. We will also start working on integrating the delivery fleet back-ends which should drive higher delivery efficiency over time," he had said in the letter to shareholders. Tech integrations between the two companies will accelerate the pace of progress at both ends. According to the company, the losses for Blinkit are coming down every month -- from Rs 2,040 million (about $26 million) in January 2022 to Rs 929 million ($12 million) in July. Blinkit has also shut down a number of unviable dark stores, which were not scaling and the team will continue to evaluate non-performing stores. In just six months, the Blinkit business has scaled to 20 per cent of Zomato's food delivery GOV while being present in less than 15 cities. "Quick commerce cuts across a wide range of essential spends including grocery, fruits and vegetables, beauty and personal care, OTC medicines, stationery items, among others. Therefore, we expect the overall customer base, average order value as well as monthly order frequency to be higher than food delivery," according to the company. Blinkit last week announced to deliver printouts at people's doorsteps in a jiffy.

Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones launched: How does it differ from WH-1000XM4

After a two-year gap, Sony has unveiled the successor to its WH-1000XM4 wireless noise-canceling headphones named Sony WH-1000XM5. While the former was already a class act, the question is how different the XM5 is from the XM4. For starters, there is a revamped design (with some contentious choices), enhanced Active Noise Cancelation (ANC), smaller audio drivers, the same battery life claim, LDAC codec support, and a bigger carry case.

So, let’s take a deeper look at the new Sony flagship headphones.

Sony WH-1000XM5 Specs and Features

Sony WH-1000XM4 features

Sony has armed the XM5 with an 8-microphone setup controlled by V1 and QN1 audio processing chips. Thanks to the new beamforming mic system, Voice Pickup technology, and AI-based Auto NC Optimizer, the company claims improved ANC and better call quality.

With ANC on, the WH-1000XM5 can run up to 30 hours of music playback, and with it off, expect 40 hours of runtime. There is USB-C power delivery with fast charging capability (3 hours from a 3 min top-up). The XM4 meanwhile, was rated for 5 hours use with 10 minutes of charging and with ANC off, they could only pull off 38 hours of juice.

The audio side is handled by 30mm drivers, which is smaller than the 40mm unit of XM4, but Sony says it has improved “high-frequency sensitivity for more natural sound quality”.

XM5 also comes with DSEE Extreme upscaling and high-res LDAC codec support with select devices. You also get AAC and SBC, but no aptX.

The other Sony 1000XM5 specifications include Bluetooth 5.2 support, multipoint connectivity, Google Assistant, Alexa support, Google Fast Pair, Microsoft Windows Swift Pair, Touch Controls, Ambient Noise Mode (transparency), wear detection, and Adaptive Sound Control.

All these come packed in a more minimal design consisting of soft-fit leather and a stepless slider band. However, their movements are apparently a bit stilted compared to the Sony WH-1000XM4. If you wear them around the neck, they don’t fold down flat like the predecessor. And if you try to fold them up, they won’t. Hence, the bigger carry case. The case looks cool and has magnetic housing for the charging cable and audio cable (for wired connection).

Sony WH-1000XM5 Price and Availability

Sony WH-1000XM4 case

Sony has priced the WH-1000XM5 at around $400 (~₹30,940), which is $50 more than the launch price of the WH-1000XM4. The new Sony wireless headphones will be available from the end of May in select markets. You can pick it in Silver and Black colors.

OnePlus Nord TWS earbuds in Black with Gold accents surfaces in 5K renders

OnePlus looks like it is going to unveil a new True Wireless (TWS) earbuds soon as the renders of it are already here. We get to see the earphones and their case from different angles. The variant in the pictures is in black colour with golden accents. The charging cradle also shares the same colour combination. It looks suave in the 5K images shared by OnLeaks through 91Mobiles.com.

Here’s everything we have grasped from the report.

OnePlus Nord TWS Design, Specs, and Features (Expected)

To reiterate once again, the new leaks showcase the design of the buds and the box they come in. Both in the black shade (although there could be more in tow) but to give it a bit more character, there is a gold colour on what seems like a hardware button. This could be a multi-functioning one with music, calls, and other controls.

The stalk below isn’t too long giving the earbuds a cutesy look. The other side has in-ear tips. Even though we don’t get to see, there must be mics for calls too.

Besides, the form and colours, the OnePlus Nord TWS could offer ANC and low-latency game mode.

However, as of now, the details are scarce. Also, as the leakster states, the “earbuds renders are based on the live images of final prototyping stage units. Hence it is hard to show the exact design through renders just yet as there could be a few tiny changes in details on the final product when they officially launch. But this could be the overall outlook of the OnePlus Nord earbuds.”

We should have better knowledge of it going forward.

For now, you can check out more news, buying guides, feature stories, reviews, and everything else tech-related at Digit.in.

Realme Pad Mini leaked renders reveal its design and specs like Unisoc T616 SoC

The original Realme Pad was a welcome addition to the tablet offerings in the market under the ₹20,000 price segment. And now a Mini sibling of it seems to be incoming. Called Realme Pad Mini, this one is reported to have a smaller 8.7-inch display while the former had a 10.7-inch panel. This leak comes from OnLeaks through Smartprix.com and shares with us a proper look at the rear side of the device. It also spills some beans about what to expect from this new Realme tablet like its Unisoc T616 chipset, a 6400mAh battery, and an 8MP camera at the back.

Here are all the details we currently n:

Realme Pad Mini Images, Specs, and Features

Realme Pad Mini is rumoured to sport an 8.7-inch panel with a 5MP selfie shooter on the front. Meanwhile, by the backside, there is a solo 8MP camera that comes in a different housing than the predecessor.

Also, different from the standard Realme Pad would be its internal machinery. The leak suggests that it could have a Unisoc T616 processor at the heart with 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, and a 6400mAh juice tank. This might come supported by an 18W charger.

Finally, all these would be packed in a 7.6mm thick chassis, claims the report. Now, since it’s too early to tell if these are accurate, we would advise you to consume them with a proverbial grain of salt.
