iPhone 15 Pro to launch with 128GB storage Check new rumours ahead of launch

Another rumour about the iPhone 15 has emerged on the internet, suggesting that it will include a 128GB variant for the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, similar to the iPhone 14 Pro models. It seems that Apple will maintain this storage configuration for the upcoming release. Previously, there were rumours of a price hike for all four iPhone 15 models, but according to this new report, there's a twist. What's even more intriguing is that despite launching with 128GB storage, the iPhone 15 Pro might not see a price increase.

9to5Mac reported on a research note from a TrendForce analyst, indicating that the iPhone 15 Pro may indeed come with 128GB of storage. However, this contradicts previous reports of a price hike. According to this new report, the iPhone 15 Pro will be priced at $999, the same as the iPhone 14 Pro. On the other hand, the high-end model, the iPhone 15 Pro Max, featuring 128GB storage, may see a $100 price increase compared to last year, potentially launching at $1199.

iPhone 15

Earlier, there was a report suggesting that the iPhone 15 Pro might debut with 2TB of storage. However, TrendForce contradicts this rumor as well. According to a research note from TrendForce, the iPhone 15 Pro models are expected to offer up to 1TB of storage, just like last year.

Additionally, there are hints of a potential RAM upgrade for the iPhone 15 Pro. While the iPhone 14 Pro featured 6GB of RAM last year, the tech giant could be introducing the iPhone 15 Pro with 8GB of RAM.

The price hike speculation arose on the internet based on the alleged inclusion of a titanium frame and periscope lens in iPhone 15 Pro models. Both of these components are relatively expensive, so if Apple indeed incorporates the Titanium frame and Periscope lens in the iPhone 15 Pro, a price hike is a possibility

Google makes fun of iPhone 15s rumoured design

Apple’s event Wonderlust is just around the corner and everyone is watching closely, even Apple’s biggest competitors. There’s a long history of Apple’s competitors roasting it and the latest to join the line is Google. In its latest Pixel ad, Google has taken a swipe at the rumoured iPhone design.

As Apple could possibly announce the iPhone 15 series on September 12, 2023. With that spirit in mind, Google, one of Apple’s competitors, has mocked the plans that Apple has with this series.

 iPhone 15

So, the biggest and the most hoped for rumour this year with the Apple iPhone 15 series is that Apple is finally saying goodbye to the legacy lightning port and swapping it for the universal USB Type-C port. Well this was long overdue too.  And that’s what Google pulled Apple’s leg for.

Google launched its #BestPhonesForever campaign. With that, it launched a new Pixel Ad called Spa Day. The ad features both the iPhone and Pixel chilling at a spa. Their cameras are also covered with cucumbers. And the two phones are talking. iPhone laments how its launch events used to be huge but now have been taken over by Pixel as it offers new features like "unblurring old photos, answering unknown calls with AI, and live translating messages".

 iPhone 15

But then the iPhone mentions how it has some nice things to offer too, like the USB C port. But turns out the Pixel already knew about it.

The ad has already gained 33M views on YouTube and users are loving this creative ad where the two phones have been depicted as best friends.

OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro Review: Rebranded Keychron Q1 Pro With Some Exciting Changes

Ask anyone what the name "OnePlus" represents and their answer will likely range from "VFM smartphone brand" and "too expensive" to "mid" and "a great comeback." And I kind of agree with that last assessment. With the brand new OnePlus 11, the brand gained back some of its lost repo. But what's even more interesting is OnePlus's foray into PC peripherals. Granted that OnePlus already makes TVs so launching a monitor is not something out of the ordinary. However, for it to launch a keyboard is a really surprising move.

What's even more surprising is that almost everyone forgot that a OnePlus keyboard exists, after its initial announcement in early 2023. But I can confirm that it is real and is currently sitting on my desk ready to boost my productivity. So the question is can it do so and is it worth the Rs 17,999 OnePlus is charging you? Here's my answer.

OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro Review: Design, Features And Build Quality

OnePlus Keyboad 81 Pro

The keyboard's bottom features a robust kickstand bar, and the back edge houses two switches and a USB-C port. One switch allows users to alternate between Windows and Mac layouts, while the other transitions between wired and wireless modes. It boasts a Bluetooth 5.1 wireless connection, but there's also a USB-C–to–USB-C cable included for wired use. Plus, a USB-C–to–USB-A adapter is provided.

The OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro is notably hefty, weighing around 1.87kg. Its heavy weight ensures it doesn't easily slide on desks, which might not be ideal for those who travel with their keyboards. But the heavyweight becomes an advantage once you sit down.

Price-wise, the OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro ranges from Rs 17,999 to 19,999, depending on the design and switches you choose. In comparison, the wired version of the Keychron Q1 keyboard, which the OnePlus model is based on, isn't available in India but its wired model costs Rs 16,989. The Keychron Q1 Pro, the wireless model, costs a bit more but is still cheaper than the OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro if you consider global pricing as it's not available in India.

OnePlus Keyboard

While the OnePlus branding is subtle, the kickstand is arguably the most significant enhancement OnePlus introduced. This feature lets users adjust the typing angle, an option surprisingly absent in the standard Q1 Pro. The adjustable bar is also quite firm and doesn't move around even if you're typing furiously. Another distinction is the keycap design. The standard Q1 Pro features Keychron’s spherical-angle (KSA) keycaps. In contrast, the OnePlus model ships with cylindrical keycaps. The specific keycap style varies with the switch type. The Rs 17,999 tactile switch version (Winter Bonfire) predominantly features darker gray double-shot PBT keycaps. Meanwhile, the pricier Rs 19,999 linear switch model (Summer Breeze) comes with lighter gray double-shot keycaps crafted from a material OnePlus dubs "marble-mallow." These keycaps are flexible, returning to their original form when squeezed.

OnePlus

While the keyboard offers individual-key RGB backlighting, the keycaps come with non-transparent lettering. In dim settings, the keyboard's silhouette is visible enough for hand repositioning, but discerning key labels can be challenging. The distinctiveness of the Marble-mallow keycaps is intriguing. OnePlus likens the material to that found in wristbands and charging cables, known for their soft yet resilient nature. Regardless of the production differences, these keys indeed feel softer than many counterparts.

OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro Review: Typing Experience, Performance And Features

Keyboad

Despite being new to the keyboard scene, OnePlus has delivered a product that promises a premium typing experience. The keyboard, weighing a notable 4.16 pounds (1.87kg) due to its aluminum construction, provides a stable base, ensuring it remains steadfast during rigorous typing. The collaboration with Keychron resulted in custom switches that, along with the Marble-mallow keycaps, offer a tactile response, even if the linear switches lack the traditional clicky sound. However, while the keycaps maintained their appearance during the review, OnePlus hasn't detailed the specifics of the switches, and some build compromises, like thin case foam, are also present.

The keyboard's design also features a functional knob, primarily for volume control, although its plastic make feels less premium. The robust and adjustable kickstand allows for varied typing angles, with silicone pads preventing any movement. Notably, this kickstand can also position the keyboard vertically, optimizing desk space when not in use. It boasts a heavy, durable build, and after a full day's use, the keys remain pleasing to the touch. That said, it's hard to overlook its uncanny resemblance to the well-received Keychron Q1 Pro.

Keyboad 81 Pro

I appreciate the cohesive OnePlus colour palette, the alert slider-style controls on the keyboard's top, the vibrant red USB cable, and the crystallized dialer, which replaces the plasticky one on the Keychron Q1 Pro. Although OnePlus does give you five additional keys with the keyboard none of them is an "Esc" key. Because by default the OnePlus logo is placed there. So An alternative escape key with a traditional "Esc" label would have been a nice touch.

OnePlus Keyboad 81 Pro

At the keyboard's top, you'll find the Mac/Windows and wired/wireless selectors. The wired/wireless switch has been refined to exude a more "OnePlus" vibe. The keyboard supports hot-swapping, allowing users to effortlessly replace switches without soldering, and a keycap puller is also included. In terms of battery life, with RGB at its lowest, the battery easily lasts more than 100 hours, but turning it off extends the battery life to more than 200 hours. It's advisable to activate the lights only when using the keyboard in wired mode.

OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro Review: Verdict

Keyboad 81 Pro

The OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro, while inspired by the Keychron Q1 Pro, isn't just a rebranded version. It provides a quieter typing experience, a unique feel, and adjustable height. However, the question remains: does it justify its Rs 17,999 price tag? While some might lean towards the more affordable Keychron Q1 Pro, OnePlus loyalists, and Indian fans who can't buy Keychron Q1 Pro in the country, looking for a premium typing experience might find this keyboard is the only worthwhile option.

Why you may have to wait longer to buy the iPhone 15 Pro Max

As the Apple event date comes close, we’re all excited for the new iPhones. But here’s a bummer, the iPhone 15 Pro Max variant is looking at a delay of a few weeks. The iPhone 15 series is expected to be announced on September 12, 2023 during Apple’s Wonderlust event. During this event, it is speculated that Apple will unveil all 4 smartphones in this series. These are:  iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max or Ultra. However, users will not be able to get the iPhone 15 Pro Max or Ultra soon.

As per tipster Revegnus, the iPhone 15 Pro Max release date could be delayed by up to approximately 4 weeks due to "severe'' issues with the production of image sensors for the top model.

Also read: iPhone 15 Pro models may get more expensive: Here are two reasons why

 iPhone 15 Pro

This has been supported by earlier reports too that revealed that Apple’s supplier, Sony was facing an "insufficient production capacity". This has happened due to an increased demand for the 48 megapixel sensors. If rumours are to be believed, Apple will equip all the iPhones with a 48 megapixel sensor which was earlier only seen on the iPhone 14 Pro models.

Various other sources have mentioned in their reports that the most premium phone on the iPhone 15 lineup could see a delay and come to the markets late due to the production issue. TF Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo had also informed that the iPhone 15 Pro Max was the last iPhone from the series to go into the production phase.

 iPhone 15 Pro

Well as we await the new iPhones, it’s worth noting that the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro max variants will be a lot heavier on the pockets as compared to the previous iPhone models in the same bracket. This is because of Apple’s possible switch to a titanium chassis . And the iPhone 15 Pro Max variant in particular will also feature a periscope camera that could offer improved optical zoom.

Tecno Phantom V Flip design, processor and other details surfaced online: Take a look

It hasn’t been long since Tecno revealed its first ever horizontal foldable smartphone called the Phantom V Fold. And now it could soon unveil the Phantom V Flip too. An e-commerce website recently put up the case of the Phantom V Flip and ended up revealing the design of the smartphone.

GSMArena spotted the case on an e-commerce platform, Vopmart. The smartphone case maker has already started to sell cases and other accessories for the Phantom V Flip. In the process, they have ended up revealing the design of the smartphone too. So the pictures shared by GSM Arena hint at a circular front display. Along with that we can even spot two cameras and an LED flash in the same spot.

Also read: Tecno Phantom V Fold Review: The cheapest foldable, but is it worth the price

The camera placement and the circular camera module is kind of different from what we’ve seen so far in flip phones. This could make the Tecno Phantom V Flip standout in the market. So, we’re excited to see what’s on the side of the circular island.

The images further revealed that we could get a flat power button that will also be used as a fingerprint scanner. This is in contrast to the sensor being underneath the foldable panel.  The selfie camera has been placed behind the punch hole and the phone will come with a USB C type slot.

In addition to this, Tecno Phantom V Flip specifications also recently spotted on Google Play Console by Pricebaba. We now know some key details like RAM, chipset, and display resolution.

So as per this, Tecno Phantom V Flip will sport a 1080 pixels resolution screen and 480 ppi. So when unfolded this would mean about a 6.9-inch diagonal display.

Also read: 3 things to know about the newly launched Tecno Phantom V Fold

Speaking of the chipset now, it is listed as Mediatek MT6893Z/CZA will run this foldable, which is likely the Dimensity 1300 with a 3.0 GHz CPU. The phone could sport an 8GB RAM and run on Android 13 OS.

Now what’s worth noting is that even though the images reflect the true placement of the functional elements, the finish could be quite different as these images are rendered based on schematics.

Browsing WhatsApp channels now easier with advanced search filters: Heres how

Meta-owned instant messaging platform WhatsApp has started to roll out an advanced search filters feature for channels on both Android and iOS, according to a new report. With two new filters, users can filter channels by country and activity level.

According to a report by a known WhatsApp tipster publication, WABetaInfo, WhatsApp has removed the filter button from the channels screen and replaced it with a new feature that provides users with an advanced search experience.

 WhatsApp feature,

The new filters provide users with a better experience while exploring channels, by allowing them to personalise their channel browsing experience.

Also, this makes sure that users receive updates from channels that are most relevant to their interests and location.

It’s important to note that WhatsApp Channels are currently only available in 9 countries– Chile, Colombia, Egypt, Kenya, Malaysia, Morocco, Peru, Singapore, and Ukraine. However, Meta Founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg mentioned during a recent earnings call that the messaging platform will introduce channels to more countries over the year.

What are WhatsApp Channels?

Introduced in June, WhatsApp Channels are a simple, reliable, and private way to receive important updates from people and organisations, right within WhatsApp.

According to the company, channels are a one-way broadcast tool for admins to send text, photos, videos, stickers and polls. Who users decide to follow is their choice and it’s private. Channel followers can not see the admin’s phone number and profile photo. Similarly, following a channel won’t reveal users’ phone number to the admin or other followers. Also, admins can block screenshots and forwards from their channel.

As the aim of WhatsApp Channels is to reach a wide audience, they are not end-to-end encrypted by default.

iPhone 15 Pro models may get more expensive: Here are two reasons why

Apple is just a few days away from landing the new iPhone series in the market. The tech-giant has scheduled the ‘Wonderlust’ event on September 12, which is believed to be the launch of iPhone 15 series. However, we are expecting a price hike in iPhone 15 Pro models this year. Why? Well, the new iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max are expected to launch with some new upgrades this year. There are two components which are believed to be the reason behind this price hike of iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Let me elaborate on this.

Luke Lin, a Senior Analyst at DigiTimes Research, has pointed out the price hike on Pro models based on the recent leaks, which suggest a Titanium frame in Pro models and a Periscope lens in Pro Max model. It is obvious that the Titanium frame would cost more than the Stainless Steel frame, as we have already seen that happen in Apple watches. The Titanium is believed to be stronger and lighter for its weight and have a better corrosion resistance in comparison to stainless steel.

Furthermore, the analyst also pointed out the Periscope lens in iPhone 15 Pro Max, could be one major reason for the price rise. Apple is also expected to roll out the iPhone 15 Pro Max with a periscope lens this time, as all the other brands have featured one in their smartphones such as Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. Reports are even suggesting that iPhone 15 Pro Max could get a 10x optical zoom capability.

Now to the price hike, Luke Lin suggested a price hike of up to $100 for the iPhone 15 Pro because of the Titanium Frame and up to $200 hike for the iPhone 15 Pro Max because of Titanium Frame and the Periscope lens as well.

Lenovo Legion Go launched to take on Steam Deck and Asus ROG Ally

Lenovo has launched a new gaming device in its Legion portfolio, the Legion Go. It is a handheld device which runs on Windows 11, pretty much like the Asus ROG Ally and Steam Deck. This handheld gaming console comes with the motive of a handy device, as you can carry it along without running out of space. Not just that, the Lenovo Legion Go also packs the powerful components and a cyber design when it comes to gaming. It's like having your gaming computer with you all the time, but with less space and weight. Let’s check out the specifications.

Speaking of the design, it comes with the hall effect joysticks to prevent the joystick drift. In addition to that, it also offers a trackpad, a D-pad, a mouse wheel and all the needed buttons. Apart from that, to indicate different modes, the Legion Go comes with RGB lightning around power buttons and joysticks. One more crazy feature, which I liked from Nintendo Switch is detachable controllers, the Legion Go has that too.

The Legion Go is equipped with an 8.8-inch QHD+ display with various resolution options from 1600 to 800 pixels and two refresh rates as well such as 144Hz and 60Hz.

Talking about the performance, it is powered by an AMD Z1 Extreme processor paired with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, up to 1TB of NVMe M.2 storage, and even comes with a slot for a microSD card for the expandable storage of up to 2TB.

To cooldown the device, it uses the Coldfront thermal technology that includes a fan with 79 blades made of liquid crystal polymer. It promises to keep the gaming console cool even in the Custom Mode with high performance, and with a negligible fan voice.

It is packed with a 49.2Wh battery with the support of Super Rapid Charge. You can charge it from 0-70% in just 30 minutes. However, if you play games on it while charging for smoother performance, it even features the bypass mode to preserve battery’s health.

Unfortunately, Lenovo has not rolled out this gaming console in India yet. However, it has launched in Europe at a price of EUR 799, approximately ₹71,000.

OnePlus 11 with Android 14: First smartphone with Googles new Android version

This week, two big announcements have been made from two tech giants, Apple and Google. Apple announced its Wonderlust event, which is speculated to be the launch of iPhone 15 series, whereas Google also sent invites for its Made by Google event, which usually unpacks Google devices such as Pixels. Now comes the OnePlus with its big announcement, making the third huge news of the industry. Well it’s got nothing to do with the OnePlus' Open or any new smartphone from the company, but the Chinese brand has announced the OxygenOS 14 built upon Android 14 and its launch date. Let’s check out.

It’s surprising for OnePlus how it is launching the OxygenOS 14 before Android 14. However, the launch of OxygenOS 14 is scheduled for September 25, so we really don’t know about it. Maybe Google would also roll out the Android 14 before or on September 25.

OnePlus 11

OnePlus will be rolling out the beta version of OxygenOS 14 in a few days for testing. The beta version is going to be available for the OnePlus 11, OnePlus 11R and OnePlus Nord 3. However, being the company’s flagship, the OnePlus 11 might be the first smartphone to get the stable OxygenOS 14 on September 25, and it might also be the first smartphone to run on Android 14 in general as well. Eventually, the OnePlus 11R and Nord 3 would also get the OxygenOS 14 update.

The Chinese brand has mentioned six improvements in the press release, which the OxygenOS 14 is bringing to OnePlus’ smartphones, and they are CPU Vitalization, RAM Vitalization, ROM Vitalization, HyperBoost, HyperTouch, and HyperRendering. However, the brand has not explained these features, so we have to wait for the OS update to roll out before saying anything about them.

iPhone 15 Pro Max might get delayed by 3-4 weeks due to Apples production issues

Apple just recently released an announcement poster finally confirming the iPhone 15 event date. Called the ‘Wonderlust’ the event will take place on September 12, 2023. However, all’s not well with this upcoming series as Apple is still dealing with production delays. With the Apple event confirmed on September 12th, we’re all excited to see what Apple has to offer with the iPhone 15 series and we cannot wait to get our hands on it. But it turns out that all iPhone 15 models will not be available for sale at the same time as Apple is still facing production issues.

In a recent report, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has shared some updates on iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro. But all is not the best news. He has revealed that the iPhone 15 Pro Max was the last project to kick off. What does this mean for us now? It suggests that the iPhone 15 Pro Max’s mass production value is much lesser than the other iPhone 15 variants. This also means that the iPhone 15 Pro Max phones could see a delay of 3-4 weeks before going to sale.

 iPhone 15 Pro

According to Kuo’s revelations, Apple is struggling with the new titanium frame material which they are using for the iPhone 15 Pro lineup. And the challenge here is that it has high processing difficulties and there were various design changes too during the development phase.

One such change was the cancellation of the solid-state button project. You might remember that Apple was initially planning to get rid of the volume buttons and the mute switch and replace them with the solid-state button project. But they said bye bye to the plan in the middle of the development phase owing to production issues. And since this decision was made quite late it led to a lot of production delays.

So we’ll have to wait for more updates and finally we’ll get to know the whole plan on September 12th. As of now, preorders are expected to go live on September 15th.

Pixel 8 Pro accidentally revealed ahead of the Google Pixel 8 launch on Oct 4

Google has announced the launch date of its new smartphone series, the Pixel 8. But not just that, the tech-giant also posted the Pixel 8 Pro on its online store, or should I add ‘accidentally posted’. We really don’t know if this was really an accident or just a move to create the hype. The tech-giant even posted a picture of Pixel 8 Pro on the store the next day Apple dropped Wonderlust's invite. Those who don’t know, the Wonderlust is believed to be the launch of iPhone 15 series and more Apple products. However, the Pixel 8 series could also be joined by the Pixel Watch 2.

The tech-giant has announced the Pixel 8 earlier but then, sending invites of the Made by Google event, seemed like it wanted to tackle Apple on its Wonderlust announcement. A known youtuber, Marques Brownlee, confirmed the event's invite. The Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro might be officially introduced on October 4.

The company has also claimed some more devices in the Pixel portfolio of devices, which made us think about the Pixel Watch 2. Google might also introduce the Pixel Watch 2 on October 4, as I mentioned before. Google will host this event in New York at 10 AM.

Google Pixel 8

Now what’s interesting is that Google accidentally revealed its upcoming Pixel 8 Pro smartphone on its online store yesterday, which also gave us a sneak peek into the design.

Talking about the specifications, the Pixel 8 Pro is said to have a temperature sensor on the back, a 6.7-inch QHD+ LTPO OLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, Google Tensor G3 processor paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. It could be packed with a 4950mAh battery with the support of up to 27-watt fast charging. It is expected to run on Android 14 from the start.

Google Pixel 8 Series may get 5 years of OS updates, more than Samsung

Google could finally begin providing five years of OS updates for their upcoming Pixel 8 series of smartphones. The folks over at 9to5Google have reported that Google could take the crown from Samsung for giving the most years of OS updates on the Android side of things. Software support usually comes down to the hands of smartphone OEMs, so even though Google owns Android, they were left behind in the software update race.

Previous Pixel smartphones delivered three years of major OS updates and five years of security updates. This policy started in the Pixel 6 era in 2021. However, Samsung remained at the forefront since it was the only brand that committed to four years of software support for its phones.

Apple, on the other hand, was the overall leader offering six or more years of software updates for its iPhones! However, if the report is true, Google will finally beat out Samsung and get close to what Apple offers.

The Pixel 8 series to get more than three major OS updates; could even be five

The report by 9to5Google doesn’t mention five years of OS updates, so take this news with a pinch of salt. It does mention that the Pixel 8 series could beat out Samsung phones with its software support – which implies five years since Samsung phones already provide 4 years of OS updates. The company is planning to deliver extended software support for its devices with a Tensor processor. The news comes from one of 9to5Google’s sources, so there’s still no guarantee that this could actually pan out.

If Google does go ahead with this, it will definitely make Pixel devices more appealing for purchase. Especially in India where even the budget Samsung phones are offering four major OS updates. More years of security updates mean the longevity of these new Pixel devices will be extended, which is always appreciated by users

iPhone 15 launch expected on Sept 12, as Apple sends Wonderlust event invite

The guessing game is finally over, as Apple has confirmed plans for its September 12 'Wonderlust' event -- where among other things the iPhone 15 series is expected to be unveiled. There was some uncertainty over the past week or so, whether Apple's September iPhone 15 event is going to be on Sept 12th or 13th, but that confusion is put to bed by Apple's confirmation.

In fact, just a few days ago, there was some speculation that the iPhone 15 event may even be delayed or pushed back by a week from its original schedule, due to alleged production delays of the iPhone 15 -- especially the iPhone 15 Pro Max reportedly.

Also read: India to make 25-percent of iPhones all over the globe, hints Apple and govt sources

The iPhone 15 series devices will be of special significance from an Indian perspective. Not only has production of iPhone 15 already began in India -- a first for the country, where a hitherto unannounced iPhone is already being produced, something that has never happened before -- but Apple is planning to ramp up India's overall iPhone production from 7-percent to 25-percent of the company's overall global supply chain.

What to expect in the iPhone 15 series

Quite a few landmark changes are confirmed to arrive on the iPhone 15, thanks to a series of leaks over the past year. The biggest change of it all is of course the ditching of the Lightning Port and embracing the USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. There's a whole new Action Button expected on the left edge of the iPhone 15 series which will also act as a mute slider. As always, the iPhone 15 is going to ring in some new colours with Titanium frame.

Also read: Apple iPhone 15 updates: New colours, reason behind price hike explained

There's also intense speculation around the naming of the highest-end iPhone 15 series phone model - will it be iPhone 15 Pro Max or will Apple prefer the iPhone 15 Ultra instead? Beyond the nomenclature, the highest end iPhone 15 series model is expected to debut a 10x periscope lens -- a first ever on an iPhone.

From a price perspective, various reports are indicating that even if the price of the base model of the iPhone 15 remains unchanged compared to the price of the base model of iPhone 14 in the past, that Apple will most likely increase the price of its Pro or Ultra variants of the iPhone 15. The justification for this price increase could be the introduction of a Titanium model of iPhone 15, among other things.
