Poco X4 Pro 5G India launch could take place on April 10: Heres what to expect

After globally debuting the phone at MWC 2022, Poco is going to launch the Poco X4 Pro 5G in India. Poco India's Twitter page teased the date to be April 10, 2022, using just Roman Numerals — X and IV. It tweeted a photo of a DNA chain structure with the letters X and IV hidden in plain sight and the description reads, “The X has a date! Let's know if you're able to find it.” Well, one could decipher it as April 10 and that’s what the audience went with. Anyways, since the device has already landed in global markets, we know what to expect in terms of its specifications.

The Poco X4 Pro 5G’s fascia is a 6.67 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, 360Hz touch sampling rate, up to 1200 nits of peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. 

Within a central punch-hole cutout, you’d be getting a 16MP selfie camera. On the other side, there will be a 108MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro module. 

Inside, the device holds a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chipset, LPDDR4x RAM, UFS 2.2 storage, and a 5000mAh battery with 67W rapid charging support. Other things in its repertoire include Android 11 based MIUI 13 software, Dynamic RAM expansion, microSD card storage expansion, side-facing fingerprint reader, WiFi ac, Bluetooth 5.1, IR blaster, 3.5mm audio jack, IP53 dust, and splash resistance. 

All of this comes in an 8.12mm thick and 205 grams weighed body.

Oppo A16e, Oppo A96, and Oppo A76 launched in India: Price, specifications and features

Oppo India has released three A-series phones without much pomp and show. First came the Oppo A76 and Oppo A96 which are powered by Snapdragon 680 SoC, a 5000mAh battery, support for 33W fast charging, a 90Hz LCD screen, and Android 11 based Color OS 11.1. While the third phone named Oppo A16e also uses the same ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11 and an LCD screen, the rest of it is different and telling of its likely entry-grade price. But, Oppo is yet to spill details of its cost and supply. So, let’s take a look at the information we have.

As already mentioned, Oppo hasn’t disclosed the pricing and availability specifics of Oppo A16e. As for the other new Oppo smartphones, the Oppo A96 price in India is set at ₹19,999 for the solo 8+128GB model and the Oppo A76 slots in at ₹17,499 for the only 6+128GB variant.

The Oppo A16e sports a 6.52-inch IPS LCD display with a waterdrop notch, HD+ resolution, and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The front camera is a 5MP sensor while its rear side houses a 13MP sensor. The underlying processor is an Helio P22 coupled with up to 4GB LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB eMMC 5.1 storage. It is powered by a 4230mAh battery. The supported charging speed is not mentioned. Anyways, the phone also features ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11, and face unlocking support.

Oppo A76, meanwhile, has a 6.56-inch IPS LCD HD+ 90Hz panel with a left-cornered punch-hole featuring an 8MP selfie shooter. At the back, you get a 13MP+2MP (depth) duo. A Snapdragon 680 processor takes care of performance with aid from 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. The battery size is 5000mAh and it is backed by a 33W charger. In the mix of specs, you also get a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Android 11 based ColorOS 11.1 software, and face unlocking support.

Finally, there is the Oppo A96 with a 6.59 punch-hole panel of the IPS LCD kind with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. At the front, you are getting a 16MP selfie clicker, while at the back, there is a 50MP+2MP dual camera setup. The processing is handled by a Snapdragon 680 chipset with up to 8+128GB memory configuration. The handset is running on a 5000mAh battery with 33W charging support. Other goodies in the package are a side-mounted biometric reader, a face scanner, and ColorOS 11.1 (Android 11).

How to delete the last 15 minutes of your Google Search History on Android and iOS

You don’t search for something online, you Google it! However, sometimes, we may want to quickly delete what we Googled recently, say the search results of the last 15 minutes. Well, Google has just added that ability within its Android app. The latest update of the Google app for Android brings a ‘Delete Last 15 Minutes’ feature for some users that lets them do what it says. This option can be accessed by tapping the G logo or the profile icon at the top-right corner of the app.

Open the Google Android app Tap on the round icon at the top right corner which could be either the Google ‘G’ logo or your profile photo. Now in the list of options, there is the new ‘Delete Last 15 Minutes’ feature. Click that and you’ll get the message that “Deleting history. Changes will show in your account soon”.

Now this feature was first announced at Google I/O 2021 and it is only reaching the broader Android market as we are inching closer to Google I/O 2022. Also, note that not all users have got the feature even if they are in the latest Google app update. So, if you haven’t got it, we suggest you be patient and in time it should be available on your Android phone too.

Meanwhile, Google also permits you to auto-delete activity older than 3, 18, or 36 months. It will be 18 months by default and you can change it to the other options.

Google says it records your search activity for creating “personalized experiences across Google services.”
