Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 to feature Gorilla Glass 6, will be Flipkart exclusive in India
Asus has announced that its upcoming smartphone, the Zenfone Max Pro M2, will have the latest flagship Gorilla Glass 6, and claims that the phone can survive up to 15 consecutive drops (as tested in the lab when dropped from waist-height) on an average. Asus made the announcement on Twitter ahead of the phone's launch on December 11 in India. "The unrivalled champion of mid-range is ready to begin its dominance with the most durable screen in the segment - Corning Gorilla Glass 6. The Zenfone Max Pro M2 launches on 11th December, exclusively on @Flipkart," the company said. The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 will be a Flipkart exclusive device. Recently, Asus confirmed that the handset will have a notch on the display, a large battery, an innovative camera and a powerful processor. The company also took a dig at the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro and the Realme 2 Pro. Although there is no official word on the specifications, previous leaks have hinted at the hardware the smartphone will carry. A few days ago, the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 was leaked in a video on YouTube showing the phone’s design in entirety. In the video, the smartphone is seen with a smaller notch as compared to its competitors, which could mean that it will ditch the 18:9 display in favour of a taller one. In terms of specs, the Zenfone Max Pro M2 is expected to sport a 6.2-inch display with 2280 x 1080 resolution. On the back, the phone may have a glass panel instead of aluminum, making it vulnerable to breakage. The Zenfone Max Pro M2 looks to retain the dual rear-camera setup and rear fingerprint sensor of the Zenfone Max Pro M1. A few days ago, tipster Roland Quandt also tweeted out some specs of the ZenFone Max Pro M2. He mentioned that Asus may bring some India-centric features in special variants of the smartphones. According to his tweet, the smartphone could run on Android Oreo instead of Android 9.0 Pie. It could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC along with a 4GB RAM with options of 64/128GB of storage. The unrivalled champion of mid-range is ready to begin its dominance with the most durable screen in the segment - Corning Gorilla Glass 6. The Zenfone Max Pro M2 launches on 11th December, exclusively on @Flipkart. HDFC Banks new mobile app still unfixed, to return to old version by December 4 evening
It has been 10 days since the HDFC Bank’s mobile app was updated and mobile banking users are still unable to login to their accounts through the app. The bank has already announced that it will revert to the original app by December 4 evening and the new app has already been removed from the Apple’s App Store and Google Play Store. The problem is so serious that a disgruntled Sachin Bansal, Flipkart Co-founder, tweeted, “In this day and age, how can the largest private bank of India do this?!” Those who had the app installed on their respective devices, and updated it, are currently seeing the new app logo and a refreshed welcome screen. They cannot go further due to glitches in the app. The bank also said that those who never updated the old app can access their accounts through it. “We are extremely distressed by the inconvenience several of you have been facing while logging in our new MobileBanking app. While we're working to resolve it on priority, those customers still using the earlier version can continue to do so, whereas those who have moved to the version and deleted the old one will not be able to use the MobileBanking till further notice,” the Bank said in a tweet. HDFC Bank has requested its customers to use NetBanking, PayZapp, PhoneBanking and Missed-Call Banking for accessing regular banking services. “It is taking us longer than anticipated, but we are confident we'll be able to fix the issue at the earliest and you'll be able to use the new app. Our sincerest apologies once again,” it added. The bank has about 4.3 crore customers, of which about 6.5 lakh were unable to use the mobile banking app services due to a technical issue in its new app, notes The Economic Times. The bank has also clarified that there has been no data breach or any loss of customer data or security issues with the bank's mobile and net banking apps. Specs comparison: iPhone XR vs iPhone X
This year, Apple has launched three new smartphones iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR among, which the iPhone XR is the most reasonable variant. The Phone carries almost the same design as the last year’s Apple flagship device iPhone X. Apple has made several changes in its high-end models such as iPhone XS and XS Max. However, it would be interesting to see whether the new iPhone XR is worth spending money on if you already own an iPhone X or in case you are not sure which one to buy? The iPhone XR sports a slightly bigger 6.1-inch display that offers a resolution of 2436 x 1125 pixels, while the iPhone X comes with a 5.8-inch display that offers the same resolutions as the iPhone XR. When it comes to the processor, the iPhone XR is equipped with the latest Apple A12 Bionic chipset, while the iPhone X is powered by an Apple A11 Bionic chipset. Talking about the RAM, both smartphones come with 3GB RAM. However, both smartphones are available in 128GB and 256GB variant. When it comes to the cameras, the Apple is offering only a single 12MP unit at the back with a 7MP sensor on the front in iPhone XR. On the other hand, if you opt for an iPhone X then you’ll get a dual 12MP rear camera with a 7MP front shooter. The iPhone XR 3GB/64GB variant is available in India for Rs 74,998, while the iPhone X 3GB/64GB model is now available on Amazon for Rs 79,999 down from its MRP of Rs 91,900.
