If you are one that is looking forward to Beyond Good and Evil 2, then there is some good news for you. Before you get your hopes up and think this is a release date, we say hold your horses. In IGN’s monthly in-depth interview show IGN unfiltered, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said that he is talking to the creative director of the game, Michel Ancel, and in their conversation, they might have discussed "another direction" for the game. "I spoke with Michel last week about it to see where it was going; how we should move in one or another direction. We see the potential of this universe is fantastic, and Michel is really passionate [about it]. It's going to be fantastic, I think." Guillemot said.

Beyond Good and Evil 2 was shown off at E3 last year and the developer has been silent about the game since. It is possible that we will hear more about the game at E3 2019.

In the conversation with IGN, Yves Guillemot shed a lot of light on the history of the studio, how it found success in Canada and franchises like Splinter Cell, Assassins Creed and more which sprouted from the efforts of the publisher's Canadian branch. Though fans have been eagerly waiting to see the next instalment in the Splinter Cell and Prince of Persia franchise, Ubisoft has been churning out Assassin's Creed games almost every year (they took a 1-year break in the middle) and has also found success with new IP’s like The Division. A sequel to the Division, conveniently titled The Division 2 released last month for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Ubisoft is the fourth largest publicly traded video game publisher in the world falling behind Activision Blizzard, EA and Take-Two Interactive. It is also a publisher with a large bank of IPs which have created not only mascots but awesome memories in our hearts. Apple could launch mini-LED equipped 316-inch 6K Apple display this year, iPad and MacBook Pro by 2021

We recently came across the rumours of Apple having a new display and a MacBook in the pipeline. The well-known Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo revealed this information and now, Kuo says that the company will also launch a 31.6-inch display in either the second or third quarter of this year. This large screen external display could again be the one Kuo previously talked about and said that it sports a 6K resolution. MacRumours, citing a report by Kuo, adds that the company might also launch a 10 to 12-inch screen iPad in late 2020 or early 2021 and a MacBook with 15 to 17-inch screen size in the first half of 2021.

All the above-mentioned devices are also touted to feature mini-LED display panels. The new screen panel technology is said to cover a larger colour space and deliver high dynamic range and contrast with local dimming features. “We believe that mini LED, compared to OLED, will be a more suitable solution to offer wide-color gamut (WCG)/high-contrast/high dynamic range (HDR)/local dimming features because of its longer life and no burn-in issues for Apple's medium- and large-size products targeting at productivity positions.” reads Kuo’s research note. “We forecast that Apple will respectively launch an all-new design 31.6-inch monitor, a 10–12 inch iPad and a 15–17 inch MacBook equipped with a mini LED backlight unit (BLU) in 2–3Q19, 4Q20–1Q21 and 1–2Q21.”

Additionally, as stated above, the reason Apple is said to be choosing mini-LED is that there are no problems of burn-in happening over time. The panels are also said to enable a thinner form factor for the devices. Kuo previously reported that a new 16-inch MacBook Pro is also in the works and could be released in 2019. While the new report might suggest that the laptop’s release might be delayed till 2021, this might not be the case since Kuo is believed to be talking about the next generation of Apple products, which would be launched in different years.

Related Reads:

Apple to release new 16-inch MacBook Pro and 6K monitor: Analyst

Apple foldable display patent filing reveals intriguing designs

Honor 20i to launch on April 17 in China

Huawei sub-brand Honor will launch the Honor 20i on April 17 in China. The company made the announcement by posting a video on Chinese social media site Weibo. The video suggests that the phone will have a waterdrop notch and come with an AI-powered 32MP sensor on the front camera unit. There is a possibility that this could be same camera which is found on the Huawei P30 Pro.

The Honor 20i has already been spotted on the Geekbench website. With model number HRY-AL00Ta on the benchmarking platform, the smartphone was seen featuring an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 710 mobile platform, coupled with 4GB of RAM. Previously, the phone was listed on TENAA with 6GB of RAM. This suggests that the device may launch in two RAM variants. When it comes to the storage, the phone is expected to be offered in 64GB and 128GB variants. On the software front, the Honor 20i may run EMUI 9.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie.

The smartphone is expected to feature a 6.21-inch IPS LCD display offering a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. In the camera department, the phone is speculated to include a triple-camera setup with a 24MP primary sensor, an 8MP secondary sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor.

The announcement comes a day after the alleged ‘Pro’ variant of the Honor 20 appeared in a new leak. The leak suggested that the phone could come with Sony’s 40MP IMX600 camera sensor, which is the same that is used in the Huawei P30 Pro. The 40MP sensor is said to come along a 20MP ultra-wide-angle camera and an 8MP telephoto lens that supports 3x optical zoom. On the front, it is said to feature the same 32MP unit. The phone could come with a 3650mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support. It may sport a 6.1-inch OLED panel with an under-display fingerprint scanner, and tipped to be powered by a Kirin 980 SoC.

Related Read:

Honor 10i with 6GB RAM appears on TENAA
