Tata Tigor EV launched with extended range starting at Rs 1259 lakh
Tata Motors, which only recently opened up its Tigor EV electric salon for private buyers, has just announced a new version of the car with extended range. According to a press release sent by the automaker, the Tigor EV is now certified by TRAI to cover 213 kilometres on a single charge, which is a significant improvement over its previously certified range of 142 kilometres. Available in three variants namely XE+, XM+, and XT+, the Tata Tigor EV is currently available in India at a starting price of Rs 12.59 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi) for private users.

This launch reinforces our commitment towards sustainable mobility solutions in India,” said Ashesh Dhar, Tata Motors’ Head of Sales, Marketing and Customer Service for Electric Vehicle Business.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6, Watch Active2 could be launched in India on October 10
Samsung was teasing the launch of a new device in India via its social media channels recently and the company has now sent out media invites for a hands-on session. The invite suggests that a new Galaxy Tab and Galaxy Watch will be shown off at the event on October 10, which we expect to be the Galaxy Tab S6 and the Galaxy Watch Active2. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 was announced back in July this year while the Galaxy Watch Active2 was unveiled ahead of the Galaxy Note10 series, in early August. While we know everything there is to know about the two products, their India pricing is expected to be unveiled at the upcoming event.
The South Korean company has not shared any details regarding the of the Galaxy Tab and the Galaxy Watch. However, with some digging around, we found that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 is already listed on Amazon with a whopping price tag of Rs 69,990, while the Galaxy Watch Active2 is listed at Rs 29,990. What’s surprising is that neither of the two products is listed on the company’s own online shop. Do note that we can’t be sure about the accuracy of the prices mentioned on Amazon since Samsung has not officially announced anything yet and the devices listed on Amazon could very well be imported devices.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 specificationsComing to the specifications and features of the Galaxy Tab S6, it succeeds the Galaxy Tab S4. The device sports a 10.5-inch WQXGA Super AMOLED display and comes equipped with a refreshed S Pen. Powered by the Snapdragon 855 SoC, the tablet comes with 128GB of internal storage and 6GB and 8GB RAM variants to choose from. We spotted the 6GB RAM variant of the device on Amazon. While the tablet is backed by a 7040mAh battery, the S Pen also gets a 0.35mAh cell and is charged wirelessly when it is magnetically attached to the tablet. Ten minutes of wireless charging for the S Pen is apparently enough to make it work for about 10 hours.
In terms of camera, the Galaxy Tab S6 is said to be the company’s first tablet with a dual-rear camera setup with an ultra-wide angle sensor. The rear camera consists of a 13MP + 5MP dual sensor configuration, while on the front is an 8MP camera. The device is also equipped with four speakers that are tuned by AKG with support for Dolby Atmos.
Samsung Galaxy Watch Active2 specificationsThe Samsung Galaxy Watch Active2 was announced on August 5 this year. The device is a successor to the Galaxy Watch Active and it comes in 40mm and 44mm sizes. Both sizes are available in two variants: Bluetooth (with only Bluetooth) and LTE (with Bluetooth and LTE connectivity). There are also two build options to choose from, stainless steel (44mm: 42g, 40mm: 37g) and lightweight aluminium (44mm: 30g, 40mm: 26g).
The 44mm variant of the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active2 comes with a 1.4-inch display and a 340mAh battery, while the smaller 40mm variant comes with a 1.2-inch display and a 247mAh battery. It is powered by an Exynos 9110 SoC and, while its Bluetooth counterpart comes with 768MB RAM and 4GB of storage, the LTE variant gets 1.5GB RAM with 4GB of storage. The smartwatch has a heart rate monitor, electrocardiogram (ECG), accelerometer, gyroscope, barometer, and an ambient light sensor.
