2019 Apple iPad with 102-inch screen now on sale starting at Rs 29,900

As a successor to the popular long-standing 9.7-inch iPad, Apple launched the new 7th-generation 10.2-inch iPad about a month ago along with the new iPhone 11 series. Now, it’s finally on sale on multiple online and offline outlets, including Amazon.in and Flipkart. The base variant, which comes with Wi-Fi-only connectivity and 32GB of internal storage space, costs Rs 29,900. The range goes all the way up to Rs 48,900. The new iPad is available in Space Grey, Gold, and Silver colours.

Like previous generations, the new 7th-generation iPad sells in two major variants: Wi-Fi-only and Wi-Fi + 4G. Both variants in turn come with two storage options: 32GB and 128GB. While the base variant with Wi-Fi-only and 32GB storage costs Rs 29,900, the Wi-Fi-only variant with 128GB storage costs Rs 37,900. The Wi-Fi + 4G variant with 32GB of storage is priced at Rs 40,900, leaving the top-end Wi-Fi + 4G variant with 128GB of storage with a price tag of Rs 48,900.

Like the 6th-generation iPad, which was launched in March last year, the new 7th-generation model is powered by Apple’s A10 Fusion chip. Like its predecessor, it is also compatible with the 1st-generation Apple Pencil. The biggest noticeable difference is in the display department. Gone is the well-recognised 9.7-inch Retina display and in its place is a slightly larger 10.2-inch Retina unit. Though there’s an increase in screen resolution (1620 x 2160 pixels), the pixel density remains the same at roughly 264 pixels per inch.

In addition to supporting third-party Bluetooth keyboards, the new 7th-generation iPad can connect to the Apple Smart Keyboard, something the previous-generation iPads can’t do. The new iPad is expected to come with iOS 13 out of the box. Apple recently rolled out iOS 13 (and eventually iOS 13.1.2) to many of its devices, including ones as old as the iPhone 6s and iPhone SE. Samsung may soon launch Galaxy Note 10 Lite, Galaxy S10 Lite smartphones

It looks like Samsung may be planning to launch ‘lite’ versions of its two flagship smartphones. According to two reports by Sammobile, the South Korean manufacturer is planning to launch even more versions of its Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10 phones even though both phones are available in three and two variants respectively. 

According to Sammobile’s report, the new version of the Galaxy Note 10 will be called the Galaxy Note 10 Lite and will have the model name SM-N770F. The new phone is tipped to be more affordable than the Galaxy Note 10. Details of the phone are not clear and the report does not mention anything about the specifications. The only information revealed is that the phone may be available in Black and Red colour variants.

However, Sammobile’s other report on the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite has more information on the phone. The new phone is tipped to have the model number SM-G770F. The report notes that the phone could have the same specifications as the Galaxy A91 that was also leaked earlier. This would include a Snapdragon 855 with 8GB RAM. It is also tipped to offer 128GB of storage. In terms of optics, it is expected to offer triple rear camera setup with a 48MP main rear camera, 12MP ultra wide camera, and 5MP depth camera. 

Of course, it should be noted that Samsung hasn’t confirmed anything yet. So there is a possibility that the company may not release anything at all.

PUG Mobile v0150 update to introduce new Payload Mode with helicopters, new weapons and more

PUBG Mobile next major update, v0.15.0 is expected to be available from October 16. However, we have got a very good idea as to what to expect from the update. This includes a new game mode, new weapons, new vehicles, new ways to traverse alongside bug fixes and graphics optimisations. 

One of the biggest additions to PUBG Mobile is the new Payload Mode, which is a part of EvoGround. The new mode brings with it a helicopter that allows them to take the battle to the skies. In order to combat airborne enemies, players on the ground can use heavy, anti-vehicle weapons to even things up. There is also a Super Weapon Box that will feature heavy weapons, level-3 armour, and other supplies. There is also the ability to recall fallen teammates from picking up their teammate ID card and heading to the communication tower.

The new Heavy weapons available include the RPG-7 rocket launcher, which fires dumb rockets. M3E1-A missile launcher fires a homing missile. The M79 Grenade launcher gives players the option to launch a single 40mm grenade at enemies, while the MGL gives them the option to launch 40mm grenade in rapid succession. There is also the M134 heavy machine gun that uses 7.62mm bullets. 

There are also two new props added to the game. These include the Air Raid Locator that will allow players to bombard a target area, which adds a new element of strategy and tactics. The other is the Vehicle repair Kit that repairs vehicles. 

The other new weapon added to PUBG Mobile is the Desert Eagle. The weapon offers the highest damage and bullet speed amongst all pistol weapons in PUBG Mobile. However, this is balanced by a strong recoil when shooting. It can be equipped with red dot and holographic sights, various magazines and laser sights. It uses a .45 caliber bullet with a seven round magazine, which can be increased to ten after magazine extension.

Players will now be able to grab a ledge in the air. This will allow them to move between buildings and containers. In order to grab a ledge by pressing the jump button at the right time while in mid air.

Other new additions is that fuel barrels will now explode when damaged by weapons or throwable objects. Further, There is a new graffiti spray that lets players spray walls. However, spraying is consumable, and can be used once.

Samsung Galaxy A91 to come with Snapdragon 855, 45W fast charging

According to Sammobile, Samsung is readying the Samsung Galaxy A91 with some pretty impressive specs. The phone is expected to be a part of Samsung’s A-series 2020 lineup, meaning it would be launched in 2020, but the phone could be launched in India a little sooner.

Sammobile reports that the Samsung Galaxy A91 would sport the current Qualcomm flagship SoC, the Snapdragon 855 paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There will be a microSD card slot which will allow users to expand the storage up to 512GB. In terms of the camera, the A91 is said to come with a 48-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization on-board, along with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The third camera is a 5-megapixel depth sensor to help with portraits. On the front, users will get a 32-megapixel camera with an aperture3 of f/2.2. The phone will be powered by a 4500mAh battery, but more importantly, will also come with 45W fast charging. It is not known, however, whether Samsung will provide a compatible charger in the box, or have users purchase one separately.

According to Sammobile, the Samsung Galaxy A91 is being developed with Android 10, meaning its launch should take place right after the launch of the Galaxy S11. This is because Samsung usually launches the S-series with the new version of Android first. However, it is possible that Samsung would launch the phone before the year’s end in India, but with an Android 9 base instead of Android 10. Either way, there is plenty of time before the launch of the Samsung Galaxy A91 and it is entirely possible the Samsung would re-shuffle the launch window of the phone around as they see fit.
