Alleged Moto G8 Plus renders leaked, may launch on October 24

Moto G8 Plus has reportedly leaked online. The leaked renders come along with a specification listing and a probable launch date. The Moto G8 Plus renders suggest a gradient rear panel finish, which Motorola has been using on its One series of smartphones. Moto G8 Plus is expected to come equipped with a triple rear camera setup as well as a small notch on the top, accompanied by a noticeable chin at the bottom. The alleged Moto G8 Plus sports the model number 'XT2019'. 

The latest development comes from WinFuture, according to which, the Moto G8 Plus may launch in Brazil on October 24, followed by a Europe launch later in the year. The renders appear to show the whole design of the phone. The device is expected to sport dual rear end speakers, volume and power buttons on the right edge along with a USB Type-C port at the bottom.

According to the leaked specifications, Moto G8 Plus is expected to come equipped with a 6.3-inch full-HD (1080x2280 pixels) IPS display. It may be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset, paired with 4GB RAM. The phone could be offered in two storage variants, 64GB and 128GB. It is tipped to support a microSD card slot as well.

On the optics front, Moto G8 Plus is said to sport a triple rear camera setup, which could include a 48MP main sensor + a 16MP wide-angle sensor with 117-degree field of view + a 5MP depth sensor. It may come with a laser autofocus system that allows users to focus is a more precise way as. It could sport a 25MP selfie shooter, but it's all speculation, at this point.    The Moto G8 Plus is shown in Blue and Red gradient glossy finishes. However, it may launch with more colour options. The smartphone is expected to pack a 4000mAh battery. It is also said to come with a 3.5mm headphone jack and a rear fingerprint sensor built into the Motorola logo.

Realme X2 Pro India launch set for November 20

Realme officially introduced the Realme X2 Pro in Spain on October 15. The smartphone went on sale in China simultaneously. Now, the popular Chinese smartphone maker has sent out press invites in India for the launch of the Realme X2 Pro. The Realme flagship smartphone will be launched in the country on November 20 at an event in New Delhi. The invite also says that Realme will have  "other surprises" for us on November 20, but it's unclear what exactly they will be.

Realme X2 Pro specifications

The Realme X2 Pro features a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The display comes with a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset, paired with an Adreno 640 GPU. The base variant of smartphone is equipped with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. It goes up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

In the optics department, Realme X2 Pro sports a quad rear camera setup:  a 64MP sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and phase-detection autofocus +  a 13MP telephoto sensor with an f/2.4 aperture and phase-detection autofocus + an 8MP  ultra-wide sensor with an f/2.3 aperture +  a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. The device has a 32MP selfie shooter, in addition.

The Realme X2 Pro is equipped with Dolby Atmos-enabled stereo speakers and Bluetooth 5.0. It packs a 4000mAh battery that supports 50W SuperVOOC Flash Charge technology. According to the company, SuperVOOC technology can charge the phone fully in 35 minutes. 

The Realme X2 Pro is currently available in China in two colour options, namely, Luna and Poseidon.

Realme X2 Pro price in India (expected)

The Realme X2 Pro costs CNY 2,599 (Rs 26,200 approx) for the base 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. It is priced at CNY 2,799 (Rs 28,222 approx) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model and CNY 3,199 (Rs 32,255 approx) for the top variant that has 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

Hence, one can expect the Realme X2 Pro's price in India to start around Rs 27,000. The phone is all set to make its India debut on November 20.
