Samsung Galaxy Z Flip could make foldable phones affordable

Samsung is gearing up to launch its next flagship smartphones at the Galaxy Unpacked event that is slated to happen on February 11. The company is expected to announce the next Galaxy ‘S’ series of phones at the event, which as per the ongoing rumours, could be the Galaxy S20 lineup instead of the expected Galaxy S11. In addition, the next foldable phone by the South Korean smartphone maker is expected to make its debut at the event, which is reportedly called the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip. New details about the Z Flip have surfaced, including its possible price.

As per an iNews24 report, Samsung could price the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip between 1 million won (Rs 61,339 approx) and 1.5 million won (Rs 92,008 approx). This is in line with previous reports making rounds on the internet, which suggest that the foldable phone might be priced around $1,000 (Rs 71,012 approx). As per an insider source who has information about the possible pricing, the report notes that the prices are not finalised. We suggest you take the information with a grain of salt as nothing has been confirmed yet.

Almost all rumours and reports we have come across so far give an impression that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip features a clamshell foldable design. This would be similar to the recently launched Motorola Razr 2019, which folds out vertically like the original Motorola Razr. The Galaxy Z Flip is rumoured to run on last year’s flagship Snapdragon 855 SoC and could be equipped with a secondary display on the outer shell, which is supposed to flip out. It is rumoured to sport a 10MP selfie camera that might feature the same hardware as the one we’ve seen on the Galaxy Note10. There could be an ultra-thin glass on the inner display covering, which is said to reduce, if not eliminate, the crease.

MG ZS EV official launch, price announcement set for January 27

When MG Motor announced the ZS EV in India after weeks of dropping hints on social media early last month, a lot of details about the British marque's second car for the country were revealed. But that one critical piece of information that either makes or breaks a customer's car buying decision was left out of the show. Now though, we've learnt that MG Motor has set a date for the official launch of the car. On January 27, it will reveal the price of the ZS EV and talk more about deliveries. We expect the car to be priced at around Rs 22 lakh.

As you may have heard by now, the MG ZS EV is an all-electric SUV with an estimated driving range of 340 kilometres on a single charge. Competing directly with the Hyundai Kona Electric SUV that was launched last year, the ZS EV is powered by a 44.5 kWh lithium-ion battery that's IP67-rated for dust and water resistance (up to 1 metre). The electric motor connected to the battery can churn out a maximum of 143 horsepower, which means the ZS EV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in 8.5 seconds.

On the inside, the MG ZS EV comes with a number of digital features, including an inbuilt air purifier that works against PM 2.5 particles, a panoramic sunroof, and a large 8-inch colour touchscreen display for infotainment. This display also shows the user informative driving data, such as how much carbon dioxide they managed to save on their last trip. Like many new cars these days, the infotainment unit comes with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The software powering it is iSMART EV 2.0, a reworked edition of the MG Hector's iSMART system. You can read more about that here.

The MG ZS EV is entering the Indian car market at a time when other mainstream automakers are equally ready with their electric options. Tata Motors recently announced the Nexon EV, an electric version of the popular Nexon SUV. Hyundai launched the Kona Electric in July last year at a starting price of Rs 25.30 lakh. Compared to the upcoming ZS EV, the Kona Electric employs a smaller 39.2kWh battery but promises an ARAI-certified driving range of 452 kilometres on a single charge. Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed from April to September 2020

One of the most anticipated games of 2020, CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077 was scheduled to be released on April 16th. But, according to a new tweet by the Polish studio, the game has been delayed until September 17th. Players were looking forward to getting their hands on the much-hyped title but will now have to wait a little longer to explore the world of Night City. The game has been in development since 2013 and it’s taken a while for the Polish studio to polish and fine-tune the game. All this means is that CD Projekt RED are looking at releasing the best product possible so this is nothing to worry about.

We have important news regarding Cyberpunk 2077’s release date we’d like to share with you today. pic.twitter.com/aWdtR0grYV

— CD PROJEKT RED (@CDPROJEKTRED) January 16, 2020

Cyberpunk 2077 is an incredibly detailed and ambitious game, so for the devs to take a little more time, fine tuning the mechanics, combat and general gameplay, it should not be any cause for alarm. In fact, The FInal Fantasy Remake has been delayed from March 2020 to April 2020. Marvel’s new Avengers game has also been delayed and the release day has been moved from May to September.

CD Projekt RED have said that ,”Night City is massive - full of content and places to visit, but due to the sheer scale and complexity of it all, we need more time to finish playtesting, fixing and polishing.” So, let’s put away the knives for now and have some faith in CDPR as this was the studio that gave us classics like The Witcher series of games.
