Motorola Razr 2019 finally launching in India on March 16
Motorola is finally ready to launch the all-new Razr in India. After teasing the foldable smartphone for months and even inviting journalists to experience it, the phone will launch in India on March 16.
Most of the features about the Moto Razr are officially out since the smartphone was announced back in 2019. Over time, we even got a second such flip phone in the form of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip.
The March 16 event will reveal the price and offers, if any, around the smartphone.
The Motorola Razr 2019 rocks a foldable screen and resembles the popular Moto Razr from yore. It’s also the first foldable smartphone from Motorola. When unfolded, the Razr’s screens measure 6.2-inches diagonally with a 21:9 aspect ratio. There’s also another 2.7-inch touchscreen panel on top that can be used for responding to messages, notifications and selfies.
There’s a 16MP camera on the outer body that can be used for both selfies and rearfies, while another 5MP camera on the display can be used for selfies with the screen flipped open.
While the design of the Moto Razr is definitely cutting edge, the hardware under the hood does not leave a strong impression. It runs on the Snapdragon 710, offers up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage and comes with 2,510mAh battery and a 15W fast charger.

Oppo Watch that looks like the Apple Watch to launch on March 6
Oppo’s upcoming smart watch has been in the news recently for the design and the close likeliness to the Apple Watch. Now we have a confirmed date when the watch is launching. Oppo disclosed the watch will launch alongside the Find X2 on March 6 at an event in China. The smartphone, and the watch was poised to launch earlier this month at the sidelines of MWC Barcelona. But after the tech convention was called off due to the Covid-19 outbreak, Oppo rescheduled the launch date to March 6.
The Opopo Watch has been teased a few times before. Earlier in February, Brian Shen, Oppo VP shared an image on Twitter of the watch which looked almost identical to the Apple Watch. Shen said the watch rocks 3D curved glass, a first for a smart watch and called it a ‘game changer’. The new photos also revealed the watch will be available in black and gold colour variants.
While the overall features of the Oppo Watch are still not available, there are rumours of ECG support, something that only Apple offers in the Apple Watch Series 4 and Series 5. In China, this could be a good rival to the Mi Watch, Xiaomi’s own smart watch that lacks ECG support.
Furthermore, another leak showed the Settings page in the watch that showed four options — Multifunction Button, Battery, Password and More. These options are nothing surprising. The multifunction button entails the physical button on the body of the watch can be customised according to user’s preference. The battery option can be used to switch around with different modes to improve battery life.
The Oppo Find X2 and the rumoured Find X2 Pro are scheduled to launch on March 6. Rumoured features of the upcoming flagship includes support for 30W wireless charging and reverse wireless charging. So it won’t be a big surprise if the watch itself comes with support for wireless charging.
