The only thing left for Xbox to show off is the games on the console. But, that’s about to change.

In a news release from the company, Corporate Vice President Jerret West said, “What was already going to be a once-in-a-generation year for gaming – a new generation of consoles, a wave of new next-generation games, and the launch of new ways to play with game streaming – 2020 has become the year that challenged us all and tested every commitment we’ve made in the face of COVID-19. Difficult tests tend to reveal your true priorities, and for us, they are the health and safety of our employees, our fans and partners. We also want to be transparent in letting our players know what we are doing and what we are thinking during such a crucial time.”

The Last of Us Part 2 story trailer shows us brutal combat and a whole lot of new faces

The Last of Us Part 2 has been in the news for all the wrong reasons these past few weeks. From the story on the crunch culture at the development studio to the recent leaks about the climax of the Last of Us Part 2, it has been a bad time. However, it looks like all that will soon be behind us as the Last of Us Part 2 releases in 43 days - 19 June 2020. Why don't you watch the trailer below first before reading on.

The trailer opens up showing Ellie from the first game and shows us a bit of her growing up. She is then out with Joel on what looks like a scavenging mission and they are having a heart to heart about something. What exactly is left a bit ambiguous. Later we see a village burning and the same scene from previous trailers where Ellie is begging someone to stop. What follows is a montage of shots from various environments to some slick action sequences and even Ellie stitching up her wounds. We also get to see the dark side of Ellie, and how far she will go to take revenge.

There are a host of new characters as well in the trailer and it looks like you, the player, will encounter many new people in your journey. The trailer ends with Ellie striking someone in rage. The trailer looks like it highlights the transformation of Ellie. From being a child in a camp to one filled with rage and revenge. Moving to the dark side, so to speak. We have seen the gameplay of the Last of Us 2 in action in the past so we know it is filled with brutal combat. If the previous trailers are anything to go by, then this will be a game with intense combat. We can't wait to get our hands on this one. You can always let us know what you thought of this trailer!

Now, while the Poco X2 was recently announced in India, there have been rumours about a Poco F2 Pro that’s said to be a rebranded version of the Remdi K30 Pro Zoom Edition. Just today, a mysterious Poco M2 was spotted on Xiaomi India website so it’s likely we’ll see more than one Poco smartphones from the company.

The virtual launch event seems to be a global launch of the product considering the company did launch the Pocophone F1 in markets outside of India. At the time of launch, Poco F1 was the most affordable Snapdragon 845 powered smartphone packed with flagship-grade hardware.

C Manmohan, Poco India GM has previously stated that the company isn’t looking to rebrand an existing phone as the Poco F2 and squashed any rumours suggesting the Redmi K30 Pro be released as Poco F2 in India. However, he did mention that the second generation Pocophone won’t be priced around Rs 20,000-mark.

Poco F2 is expected to feature the flagship Snapdragon 865 chipset running on MIUI 11. The phone could use a multiple-camera setup with 48MP or 64MP primary camera sensors and telephoto, macro or ultra-wide lenses as the other cameras.

While the specifications of the Poco F2 are kept under wraps, we should know more about the upcoming smartphone in the lead up to the launch.

TCL to launch 8K and 4K QLED Android TV range in June in India

TCL plans to bring its 2020 8K & 4K QLED AI Android TV series to India in June. In conversation with TCL India's GM, Mike Chen we learned that new product launches were pushed back because of the ongoing pandemic. We now know that TCL plans to launch its TVs in India in June 2020. The TVs in question here are QLED TVs and both 4K and 8K variants will come to India. The TVs that will come to India will be Android TVs. It will be interesting to see the features and specifications that these TVs bring.

TCL QLED TV 8K X915 Specifications

Back at CES 2020, we had the chance to check out the TCL QLED TV 8K X915. The X915 is TCL’s flagship X series available in 75- and 65-inch sizes. It features an 8K, Quantum Dot Display Technology (QLED panel) along with support for Dolby Vision HDR and IMAX Enhanced. IMAX Enhanced is something we saw on the 2020 Sony and LG TVs at CES and it is great that the two heavyweights in the TV business will see competition from TCL in the premium space. The X915 also boasts of Local Dimming Technology.

As you can see from the video, the TV comes with an external soundbar so there is no compromise on the audio from the TV. The soundbar is designed by Onkyo and boasts of support for Dolby Atmos. The TV also features a retractable built-in camera, which will ascend and descend automatically when prompted. The TV also boasts of 8k upscaling, Far-field Voice Control, and it runs on Android.

It isn't clear if the TV will support the features of HDMI 2.1 like eARC, variable refresh rate, 4K at 120Hz, Auto Low Latency Mode, etc. but we should know soon. e aren't sure if the X915 will be the one that comes to India, but we can hope.

At CES TCL showed off a bunch of 4K TVs as well. Some with HDMI 2.1 and some without. You can catch their details here. The only TVs available in India that support HDMI 2.1 are the flagship TVs from LG such as their OLED and NanoCell TVs. You can check our review of the LG C9 here.
