Users can now use Google Lens to copy text from paper notes and transfer the text to their laptop. All users have to do is select the text with Lens, and use the “copy to computer’ feature to copy text from the paper, and transfer it directly to another signed on device with Chrome. Learn pronunciations of new words

Google Lens will now not only translate text from one language to another, but it will also help you pronounce any new words that you may be seeing. This should be handy for those who are learning a new language and wish to know how certain words and pronounced. In order to use the feature, users will have to select the text from Lens and tap the new ‘Listen’ button to hear the word out loud.

In-line Google Search results

The new in-line Google Search results feature is aimed at helping users help learn more about words or phrases that they may not be familiar with without the need to open another app. The new features will show the meaning of words and phrases within the app itself, so users don’t need to search for the term separately on Google.

Microsoft launches the Bing wallpaper app for Android

It looks like Microsoft has just rolled out a Bing wallpapers app. The app essentially features backgrounds and wallpapers that will change each day. At first glance, some of the wallpapers that have been featured look beautiful. Users can browse through a ton of images on the app but the great thing about the app is that you don’t need to manually change the images as the app will change images all by itself each day. Users will have to manually allow the app to change images daily. They will also have to grant the app the ability to update images using mobile data as well.

The app also has information about the images used, giving users a deeper look at where the image was taken and more. This helps users learn something new every day using a fun and innovative method. As of now, the app is free and can be downloaded from the Google store. If you aren’t able to access the Google Play Store, you can download the app from APK Mirror, here. As we’ve said, the app is free and has no ads or in-app purchases.

Bing is seen as an alternative to Google search and has seen a lot of growth in the last few years. AMD Ryzen 3 3300X and Ryzen 3 3100 India price revealed

AMD India has finally revealed the pricing of the Ryzen 3 3100 and the Ryzen 3 3300X processors. The Ryzen 3 3100 is priced at Rs 7290 (excluding GST) and the Ryzen 3 3300X priced at Rs 9490 (exclusive GST). The exact availability of the processors has still not been disclosed, perhaps due to the uncertainty surrounding the lockdown brought on by the Coronavirus outbreak.

AMD had revealed the new Ryzen 3 series processors a few weeks ago, alongside their U.S. pricing, which was extremely lucrative. The Ryzen 3 3100 was priced at $99 while the Ryzen 3 3300X priced at $120. This means that the India pricing for the two chips is only a hair higher than their American counterpart, with GST being what makes the price gap slightly larger. Taking into account that the Rupee has fallen notably in comparison to the dollar over the last few months, the new Ryzen processors still seem to be going tight on the margins.

Both the AMD Ryzen 3 3100 and the Ryzen 3 3300X feature the Zen 2 architecture and come with 4 cores and 8 threads. There is a small difference in clock speeds, with the Ryzen 3 3100 having 3.6GHz base clock and a 3.9GHz boost clock while the Ryzen 3 3300X clocks run at 3.8GHz base and 4.1GHz boost. Both the processors also sport the same 18MB cache, which is pretty incredible. We’ve seen recent leaks of the Ryzen 3 3100 and the Ryzen 3 3300X benchmarks which have shown impressive performance.

AMD for its part had also unveiled the budget-friendly B550 chipset, the most notable feature of which happens to be the inclusion of PCIe 4.0. Currently, only the X570 chipset supported the PCIe 4.0 lanes, leaving little in the form of choice for the budget PC builder. AMD has said that motherboards with the B550 chipset should start shipping June 16, 2020, assuming the supply chain issues are all sorted. The new processors, however, are expected to launch in India around mid-May.
