WhatsApp gets Add to Cart option to make shopping much easier: Heres how to use it

WhatsApp is adding a new Add to Cart option that will help facilitate the shopping process on the messaging service. The new feature is an extension of the shopping tools that the Facebook-owned company released in October. With this, users can now add items they want to shop directly to a cart and inquire about them with the business account in a single order.

Previously, users could only select a single product from a business’s catalogue but the new option allows selection of multiple products and lists them under a single order. After selecting the products, the buyer just needs to message the business to get more details about the items or to simply place the order.

WhatsApp has announced that it is integrating a new shopping feature to the app as it looks to add more merchants to build its online shopping experience. The Facebook-owned platform had introduced business accounts with more than 175 million on board, which will be further aided by shopping carts feature right before the festive season.

The new Add to Cart option comes in handy when ordering from a restaurant or a retail store as users will now be able to select multiple products in a single order. It also becomes easier for businesses to keep a track of orders and payments as orders for multiple products will now be listed in a single message.

WhatsApp has started the global rollout of Carts and all WhatsApp users will receive it in the coming days. Here is how you can use the Add to Cart option to place an order for multiple products.

WhatsApp Add to Cart: How to use?

With the new feature, users can message a business about multiple products they want to purchase. To use the Add to Cart feature, here are the steps to follow.

Select a business on WhatsApp you want to shop from

Tap on the Shopping Button to view the catalogue

Select a product from the catalogue and tap on the Add to Cart button at the bottom of the listing

Go back to the catalogue and select other products that you want to buy

After adding products, add a text and sent the message to the business.

Halo Infinite has been delayed yet again, will now release in Fall 2021

For all you Xbox Series X owners out there, there’s a bit of bad news on the horizon. It seems that 343 have yet again delayed the release of Halo Infinite on the console. The developer said that the game will now ship in Fall 2021. Originally planned as a launch title for the Series X, Halo Infinite was first pushed back to holiday 2020 and then delayed again to a Fall 2021 release. It seems that a lot of developers have been delaying the release of their games with even Cyberpunk 2077 facing a slew of deals this year.

To tide Halo fans over, 343 released two new screenshots of the game which you can check out below. Hopefully this washes the bad tase of the Xbox Games Showcase experience, earlier this year. The demo was not received well by fans as most complained about the lack of polish graphically. The most well-known of the lot if the emotionless Brute that because a household meme after that disastrous presentation.

Although, 343 did address these issues directly in a new blog post with 343 director of art management, Neil Harrison saying, “[T]he reality is that the art and visuals weren't at the bar we hold for Halo - even in a work-in-progress state. Much of the feedback we heard from the community aligned with our own views and work we were already committed to doing around things like indirect lighting, material response, foliage and tree rendering, clouds, level-of-detail transitions, and character fidelity.”

Ani Shastry, 343 development manager also chimed in saying, "Visual fidelity is a very important goal for Halo Infinite, and the graphics and art teams have been continually aspiring, and working closely with each other, to create the best-looking Halo game ever.”.

Well, as we wait for Halo Infinite to release next year, we can all breathe a sigh of relief as Cyberpunk 2077 is literally a day away! So, to prepare you guys, here’s everything you need to know about CD Projekt Red’s latest game.

Nvidia RTX 3090s worth 3,36,000 stolen from MSI factory in China

PC gamers out there, if you thought you were desperate to get the latest Nvidia RTX 3090 series of GPUs, well, there’s probably an Asian dude somewhere who wants it more than you. And on that note, just last week a ton of RTX 3090 GPUs were stolen from the MSI factory in China. The news first broke on Twitter, with the user @GoFlying8 posting an MSI document that addresses the theft.

MSI Chinese mainland factory was stolen, stolen 40 boxes RTX3090, the total value of 2200000RMB ...... MSI has been officially announced and informed to the police ,Reward of 100000 RMB for reporting effective information. pic.twitter.com/JWw8hOMioG

— 夕惕若厉 (@GoFlying8) December 7, 2020

The good folks over at Ars Technica were kind enough to translate the document and is presented in English below.

MSI internal document detailing RTX 3090 theft

So, apparently, from what we can see, the thieves or thief made off with around $3,36,000 US worth of RTX 3090s. The document doesn’t specify how may GPUs or the total value of the stolen good were. But reports have emerged that state that the theft set the company back by about 2.2 million RMB or about 40 containers of the RTX 3090 GPU! Well, clearly some gamers will resort to corporate theft to actually get their game on. We wonder if the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 has anything to do with this theft? Hmmmm.

The shortage of the RTX 30 series GPUs have caused a bit of concern in the PC gaming scene and it looks like someone decided that enough was enough and stole around 224 RTX 3090’s.  If you’re interested in the RTX 3090, you should check this out. Or, if you’re more of a console gamer, you can check out our first impressions of the PS5, right here.
