Tecno Camon 16 Premier price and availability

Tecno has priced the Camon 16 Premier at Rs 16,999 for the sole 8GB+128GB model, and it will go on its first sale on January 16 on Flipkart. The phone will soon be available in offline retail stores as well.

Tecno Camon 16 Premier specifications

The Tecno Camon 16 Premier has a plastic built that measures 9.1 millimetres in thickness and weighs 210 grams. The phone is being offered in Glacier Silver colour. It features a 6.85-inch Full HD+ (2460 x 1080 pixels) resolution display with a dual punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The screen supports 90Hz high refresh rate and is HDR10+ certified.

The Tecno Camon 16 Premier is powered by the MediaTek Helio G90T processor with an octa-core CPU which is paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. There’s an option to expand the storage further by adding a microSD card slot. It runs on Android 10 based HIOS 6.0.

The Camon 16 Premier has quad cameras on the back that consists of a primary 64MP camera along with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, 2MP video camera and a 2MP low-light sensor for videos. On the front, there is a 48MP primary selfie camera followed by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with 105-degree field-of-view. The rear cameras can record in 4K UHD with support for EIS and five-LED flash.

The phone has a fingerprint reader on the side and is equipped with a 4,500mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.

Lenovo AMD Ryzen powered Legion 7, Legion Slim 7, Legion 5Pro and Legion 5 gaming laptops announced

This year’s Consumer Electronics Show seems to be packing a lot of great news for PC gamers. Nvidia announced their 30-series GPUs for laptops while AMD announced the new Zen 3 based AMD Ryzen 5000-series CPUs. Last year’s AMD Ryzen 4000-series did leave everyone impressed, so there’s generally a large amount of excitement around the new processors. Lenovo, for its part, is announcing four laptop lines that will all use AMD 5000-series CPUs, and pair them with high-end Nvidia GPUs. The laptops in question are the Lenovo Legion 7, Legion Slim 7, Lenovo Legion 5 Pro and the Lenovo Legion 5.

The Lenovo Legion 7 and the Lenovo Legion 5 Pro are the first gaming laptops from Lenovo to sport a display with 16:10 aspect ratio and QHD resolution. The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is Lenovo’s follow up to their lightest 15-inch gaming laptop from 2020 and now offers AMD’s Ryzen 5000 CPUs paired with up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 Max-Q. All the laptops announced today feature a number of technologies that will remain common amongst them. This includes Lenovo’s ColdFront 3.0 thermal management solution which is designed to prevent any kind of thermal throttling. The fan profiles can be switched using the Fn+Q shortcut, making the whole process incredibly easy. All the laptops announced also feature Lenovo’s TrueStrike Keyboard, an evolution of the company’s keyboards found on the very popular ThinkPad series. The TrueStrike keyboards offers a soft landing experience with a deeper keystroke.

The Lenovo Legion 7 is slated to start at $1,669.99 while the Lenovo Legion 5 Pro will start at $999.99. The Legion 5 has a starting price of $769.99, while the price of the Legion Slim 7 has not yet been announced. All four laptops are expected to be available in Q1 2021.

The Amazfit GTR 2e and GTS 2e are set to launch in India

Amazfit has launched the Amazfit GTR 2e and GTS 2e at the all-digital CES 2021, and the watches will be available in India by the end of this month. The smartwatches were unveiled in China in December and are expected to launch in more markets globally.

The GTR 2e comes with a round design with a rotatable 1.39-inch AMOLED touch screen. The screen has 2.5D scratch-resistant glass to protect it from daily wear and tear and comes equipped with more than 50 watch faces. The watch has 90+ sports modes with automatic tracking for six of them. It can also measure blood-oxygen saturation, sleep quality (REM/Nap), and stress levels along with GPS, offline assistant, and can push notification alerts from connected smartphones.

The watch connects with the Zep App and is compatible with both iOS and Android devices. It is also 5ATM water-resistant and can be used for tracking swimming activities. The GTR 2e claims to offer a battery life of upto 24-days on a single charge.

The GTS 2e is a square design smartwatch with a screen size of 1.65-inch which is a tad bit larger than the GTR 2e and also comes equipped with temperature and air pressure sensors which are absent on the GTR 2e. The GTS 2e comes with the same set of features as the GTR 2e, with the major difference being in design and battery life as the GTS 2e comes with 14-day battery life.

The GTR 2e and GTS 2e are affordable versions of the GTR 2 and GTS 2, respectively, which were introduced last year in September. The watches retain most of the same functionality, with the major exclusion of Wi-Fi making up for longer battery life.

The GTR 2e and GTS 2e are priced at CNY799 (Roughly Rs 9,100) in China, meaning the new watches could debut in the country for about Rs 10,000. Both will be available on Flipkart and Amazon.

Oppo Find X3 series to launch in March, new leak reveals Find X3 Pro design

Oppo Find X3 series is confirmed to launch in March, as the first pictures of the Find X3 Pro hit the internet earlier today. The company has posted a teaser on its Weibo account that hints at the launch of the much-awaited Snapdragon 888-powered flagship smartphone in March 2021. Oppo had already revealed that it is working on the next Find X series with Qualcomm’s flagship processor.

The Oppo Find X3 Pro was leaked just hours before Oppo’s teaser and comes from popular leakster Evan Blass. The leak gives us our first look at the alleged renders of the Find X3 Pro with quad cameras on the back and a new design.

The back of the phone has a quad-camera module that has been designed in a way it looks to be protruding out of the rear panel. With this design, the edges of the camera module merge seamlessly into the whole design, but it remains to be seen how it looks in real life.

Moreover, Blass claims that the Find X3 Pro has a 25x zoom macro camera along with two yet-unannounced 50MP Sony IMX sensors. The Find X3 Pro is also said to support SuperVOOC 2.0 and VOOC Air fast charging.

As per previous reports, Oppo has already confirmed that the next Find X series will feature Android’s first 10-bit full-path colour management system that is expected to bring accurate colour reproduction with support for DCI-P3 colour range and in creating 10bit image and videos.

From the pictures, it can be seen that the Find X3 Pro will be offered in three colours: black, white and blue and a vegan leather variant. The phone could launch in late March or early April as per Blass alongside the Find X3 Neo and Find X3 Lite.

The report also mentions that the Find X3 Pro features a 6.7-inch QHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole notch cutout for the selfie camera. This is in line with an earlier leak by Blass that revealed some key specifications of the Find X3 Pro.

Additionally, the Find X3 Pro is also rumoured to be equipped with a 4,500mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging and 30W wireless fast charging.

We’ll get to know more about the Oppo Find X3 series as we near the official launch which is happening sometime in March.

Oppo A93 5G spotted online with full specs and images

The upcoming Oppo smartphone with the world’s first Snapdragon 480 SoC was spotted on Geekbench with model number PEHM00 / PEHT00 and now the same model number was listed on China’s Telecom operator website with all the details of the smartphone along with the consumer model name.

The device is known as A93 5G in China, and it comes powered by the new Snapdragon 480 SoC, which is mentioned with its SM4350 part number in the China Telecom listing. The phone comes with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The listing does not provide details about expandable storage. Although it comes with Android 11 out of the box with ColorOS overlaying it.

Oppo A93 Specifications and Features

The phone is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery and comes with 18W fast charging. It has curved edges and comes with a punch-hole screen. The phone has a full HD resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, and there are no details about the refresh rate of the screen. 

In the camera department, the phone sports a 48-megapixel main camera and two 2-megapixel sensors. The front shooter comes equipped with an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The phone comes with a USB Type-C port and a headphone jack at the bottom.

The Oppo A93 5G is expected to debut in the Chinese market on 15 January, with a price tag of 2,199 Yuan (Roughly Rs 25,000) and will be available in three colors like Aurora, Dazzling Black, and Elegant Silver.
