Sony Play at Home Initiative Brings 10 Free PS4, PS vr Games Starting March 25

Sony Play at Home initiative, starting March 25, will bring 10 free PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR games. Players will be able to download these games from the PS Store without a PS Plus subscription.

Asus ZenFone 8 Mini with 120Hz refresh rate display, Snapdragon 888 leaked

Asus ZenFone 8 Mini has reportedly leaked with a 120Hz high refresh rate display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. The ZenFone 8 Mini with the model number ZS590KS and codename SAKE has been spotted online previously and the phone has now been spotted in the kernel source code of the ROG Phone 5.

As per a report by XDA Developers, the kernel source code of the ROG Phone 5 has references to three phones codenamed SAKE, PICASSO and VODKA. This is an indication that the company could have more than two phones in the ZenFone 8 lineup which is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor and could launch soon. Moreover, the Zenfone 8 Flip was also spotted earlier in Google's list of ARCore supported devices but nothing is known about its specifications so far. 

Asus Zenfone 8 Mini leaked specifications

The source code of the ROG Phone 5 also contained configuration files that reveal some of the key specifications of the three phones. The Zenfone 8 Mini could be the one with the codename SAKE and is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 888 processor. It features a 5.92-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) resolution OLED display with support for upto 120Hz refresh rate. 

As apparent by its name, the Zenfone 8 Mini is said to be a compact phone that could have a 64MP primary camera that uses a Sony IMX686 sensor and IMX663 sensor which could be a new camera sensor.

Meanwhile, the phone with the codename PICASSO could be the standard Zenfone 8 featuring a 6.67-inch Full HD+ resolution AMOLED screen likely with support for high-refresh-rate. It is also powered by the Snapdragon 888 and has 64MP primary camera with a Sony IMX686 sensor, a 12MP camera based on IMX363 sensor and an 8MP telephoto camera that uses an Omnivision sensor. 

Asus is yet to reveal its plans for the launch of the ZenFone 8 series. Asus ROG Phone 5 was launched earlier this month as a sequel to the ROG Phone 3 gaming smartphone. You can read more about it here.

PlayStations Play at Home feature offering 10 free games for download this spring

If you’re gaming on a PS4, there’s some good news for you guys. You will now be able to download 10 free games to download this spring, including PS4 indie gems, PS VR games, and Horizon Zero Dawn. Part of the PlayStation Play at Home service, the games will be available for download until the end of March. Once you download the games onto your console, the game will be yours forever. All these games will be available for free download from March 25 to April 22. Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition will be available for free download between April 19 and May 14. So, f you own a PS4, this is just the icing on the cake.

Indie games like Abzu, Enter the Gungeon, Rez Infinite, The Witness, Subnautica, Moss, Astro Bot Rescue Mission, Thumper and Paper Beast will all be available for download as part of PlayStation’s Play at Home plan. Even though a lot of these games are a bit older, free games are always a good thing. Just a few weeks ago, we got the Ratchet and Clank remake for free as a part of the initiative. The game was one of the OG games on the PS2 and received a much-needed remake.

Total Gaming, Team Elite & 10 other teams qualify for Garena Free Fire India Championship FFIC 2021 finals

The 12 qualifying teams for the finals of the Free Fire India Championship (FFIC) 2021 Spring in India have been confirmed.The Free Fire Indian Championship is touted as Garena’s Flagship tournament in India. The 12 teams will not only duke it out for the prize money, but also for the chance to represent India at the Free Fire World Series 2021.

To recall, FFIC 2021 Spring was divided into three stages, namely the League Stage, the Play-Ins and the Grand Finals. The League Stage took place from February 19 to March 7 and saw 18 teams divided into three groups of six teams each. Each group played against each other in round-robin style over the course of nine league days. The top two teams from each of the three groups proceeded to the Grand Finals.

The remaining 12 teams who did not qualify for the Grand Finals took part in the Play-Ins on March 14. These teams battled for the six remaining spots in the Grand Finals. The six top teams from the Play-Ins joined the initial six teams in the Grand Finals to be held on March 21.

Alleged hacking at Garena Free Fire India Championship 2021

Back in February, Garena alleged that team Old Skool member, AAYUSH, was hacking. As a result, Garena had disqualified team Old Skool from the tournament and banned AAYUSH’s account for a year. As a result, the STONE CRUSHERS were drafted into the championship in place of Old Skool. AAYUSH has since refuted the allegations, but Garena have not moved from their initial stance.
