It's no secret that Vivo is launching its X60 series in India on March 25. The new flagship series from Vivo will bring with it three new phones -- the Vivo X60, Vivo X60 Pro, and Vivo X60 Pro+. Ahead of the launch of the X60 series phones in the country, the pricing of the phones has been leaked online.

The leak about the price comes courtesy of Mahesh Telecom. The leak once again confirms that the X60 and X60 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 870 SoC while the Snapdragon 888 SoC will power the X60 Pro+. As for the price, the X60 will be made available in two storage variants, with the 8GB+128GB one priced at Rs 39,990 and the 8GB+256GB one priced at Rs 43,990. The X60 Pro+ with the Snapdragon 888 under the hood will be made available for Rs 69,990 for the 12GB+256GB variant.

The two phones are expected to only differ when it comes to the cameras, with the Vivo X60 Pro expected to come with a quad-camera set-up on the back consists of a primary 48MP Sony IMX598 image sensor with an f/1.48 aperture and 4-axis optical image stabilization. The secondary lens could be a 13MP secondary ultra-wide-angle camera with a 120-degree field of view followed by a 13MP portrait camera and an 8MP periscope telephoto lens offering 5X optical zoom and up to 60X digital zoom. The Vivo X60 is also expected to feature a similar camera set-up, save for the telephoto camera.

As for the X60 Pro+, it should also feature the same display as on the other two X60 series phones. Again, the major point of differentiation between the X60 Pro+ and the other two phones will be the cameras, with the X60 Pro+ flaunting a quad-camera setup that has been designed in collaboration with Zeiss optics. The primary lens here will likely be a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.6 aperture and OIS support followed by a 48MP ultra-wide-angle camera with 114-degree field-of-view and gimbal stabilization.

Last of Us on HBO will differ greatly from source material says Naughty Dog co-president Neil Druckmann

The Last of Us (review) was one of the biggest games of the previous generation. First released on the PS3, the game went on to win over the hearts of fans with its gripping story and focused gameplay. The game told the story of a post-apocalyptic world in where Joel and Ellie must make their way through a broken America to find a cure for the fungal infection currently turning humanity into one large fungal colony. And although the second game (review) in the series failed to live up to expectations of the first and told a convoluted, illogical mess of a story, we’re now getting a television show on HBO. The show has already cast Game of Thrones alum Pedro Pascal as Joel and Bella Ramsey as Ellie.

Last of Us TV Show on HBO

In a recent interview with IGN, Naughty Dog co-president Neil Druckmann also stated that the series will differ greatly from the first game. It was announced that the show would follow the plot of the first game but in this latest interview, it’s clear that Druckmann is looking at ‘subverting expectations’. If his handling of the second game is any indication, fans are going to have a rough time when it comes to the TV show. He stated, “Things sometimes stay pretty close. It’s funny to see my dialogue there from the games in HBO scripts. And sometimes they deviate greatly to much better effect because we are dealing with a different medium.”

Last of Us TV show on HBO

He also spoke about the need to familiarise new viewers with the characters and the world. “For example, in the game, there’s so much action you have to train the player about mechanics. You have to have more violence and more spectacle to some degree than you would need on a TV show because you don’t need to train people on how to use a gun. So that’s something that’s been really different, and HBO’s been great in pushing us to move away from hardcore action and focus more on the drama of the character. Some of my favourite episodes so far have deviated greatly from the story, and I can’t wait for people to see them.”

Well, for fans of the first game, you may be in for a rude shock when the show does finally release. But, for now, we can only hope that the HBO show does justice to the masterpiece that was The Last of Us.
