Madlad remakes GoldenEye in Far Cry 5

A YouTuber by the name of Krollywood took Far Cry 5’s level editor and remade almost every level from the cult classic FPS shooter GoldenEye.

Krollywood, The Madlad

He dedicated almost 2.5 years of his life to this project and spent almost 1400 hours making it. He has remade all 18 levels of GoldenEye except for the 2 bonus levels. If you want to check these levels out yourself, you can search the PSN username - “Perfect-Dark1982” in Far Cry 5.  “All 18 levels are fully playable with high details and easter eggs. Some of the original levels are combined to one FarCry level.”, Krollywood stated in his Reddit post he made on r/PS4 where he showed his creation off to everybody. He even put some photos comparing the original GoldenEye levels to the levels he made in Far Cry 5.

Krollywood has released a whole trailer of all the levels he made which can be viewed here :

He has made a YouTube Playlist with full in-depth walkthroughs of all the levels.

Arcade Mode in Far Cry 5

Far Cry 5’s level editor is a tool that is loved by many especially because it keeps the fun going even after the main story is finished. Players from all around the world have shown their creativity and made some fantastic levels but in our personal opinion, this guy has one upped everybody by making such a huge tribute to the OG GoldenEye.

Sadly, the beloved arcade mode (the level editor) won’t be making its way in Far Cry 6 as Ubisoft has confirmed its departure from the series. All in all, it is a must play for both GoldenEye enthusiasts and Far Cry enthusiasts combined since it merges the level design from back in the day with the newer graphics and weapons. We for one will surely be re-downloading Far Cry 5 just to relive sweet sweet nostalgia of the OG GoldenEye.

Razers mask Project Hazel will start shipping in October

Razer has announced at E3 that Project Hazel, which caused a lot of buzz at CES, will start shipping in october.

Project Hazel, which is a glorified version of a N95 mask, debuted to much enthusiasm earlier this year at CES. Razer has added some new features, like an anti fog coating on the transparent section, and it also looks like it's been slightly redesigned to be more streamlined. It's scheduled to be released in limited quantities, sold in drops, with the first drop landing around October. Sign up to Razer’s website to get on the drop list if you want to get your hands on one. Razer has given an option with which you can try it on your face virtually in AR on Instagram with the Project Hazel filter.

Although many think that the mask might be arriving a little late given the continued rollout of coronavirus vaccines, Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan explained the reasoning in March stating that even with the vaccinations, people still have to be masked up to be more more careful because there is the risk factor and he added that many countries may still be few years from being fully vaccinated.

Project Hazel

In addition to Razer aesthetic design, the mask is cleverly conceived with auto sterilization and active ventilation, with a separate case that can charge it wirelessly in addition to a UV sterilizer. It uses rechargeable ventilators and replaceable filters along with being transparent so that people can see your mouth move.

LED lights on the pods of the mask indicate the charge status and there are also internal LEDs to make your mouth visible in low light. Razer has changed the initial lighting design shown at CES to sync with its Chrome RGB illumination. And the pods have audio processing algorithms built in to make the user’s voice sound a lot clearer and more natural.

For an airtight seal the mask has silicone around the edges and adjustable ear loops. One can adjust the amount of airflow for maximum comfort and protection. It also comes in multiple sizes.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G poster leaks, reveals key design details

Samsung is widely tipped to launch the Galaxy S21 FE soon. The phone has been part of several leaks already, and now, an official poster of the S21 FE 5G has surfaced online courtesy of Android Headlines, revealing the colour options of the device. This appears to be a leaked press render of the phone, which shows the Galaxy S21 FE will be available in only four colours. These colours are violet, white, olive green, and black/grey.

The render also shows off the design of the new Samsung phone and reveals there will be a centred punch hole on the device for the front-facing camera with the back of the phone housing three cameras. A look at the back of the phone also reveals that the device looks a bit like the Galaxy S21 5G. Apart from this, there are also visible bezels that run around the display.

Apart from this, the pic also shows a SIM tray on the Galaxy S21 FE at the top, while also showing a power button and volume control buttons on the right side. The phone also appears to lack a fingerprint scanner so it is possible there is an under-display fingerprint scanner on the device.

As for the specifications of the phone, the Galaxy S21 FE 5G has previously been spotted on Geekbench with Android 11, 6GB/8GB RAM, and Snapdragon 888 SoC. However, there have been reports that Samsung may instead go for an Exynos chip. For the display, we are expecting a screen with a punch hole in the centre, with a 32MP selfie camera. This display is likely to be a 6.41-inch panel and support up to FullHD+ resolution. Underneath the hood, reports suggest the presence of 128GB and 256GB storage options and a big 4,500 mAh battery pack with support for 45W charging. For now, there's little information on the launch timeline of the device, however, some reports coming out of South Korea claim the phone could go official sometime in October this year.
