OnePlus Nord 2 with Dimensity 1200 could launch by July-end in India
OnePlus Nord 2 could launch by the end of July in India, as per the latest leak. OnePlus recently launched the Nord CE (Core Edition) in India last month and is now gearing to launch the successor to the OnePlus Nord from 2020. We have been hearing a lot about the Nord 2 for quite some time now as more and more details about the upcoming phone have been revealed through different leaks and render. Even if half of those leaked details happen to be true, the OnePlus Nord 2 is well on its way to becoming the first phone by the company to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 5G processor.
According to a tweet by popular tipster Mukul Sharma, the OnePlus Nord 2 could launch in the “last 10 days of July”. Mukul goes on to claim that the launch date could be closer to July 24 which is a Saturday and a rather odd day to launch phones. Having said that, OnePlus seems to be gearing up to announce the launch date of the Nord 2 officially very soon as it has archived all posts on its official Instagram page in anticipation to build hype around the upcoming launch.
Provided there are no last moment changes, the OnePlus Nord 2 is set to launch during the last 10 days of July. We are likely looking at a 24th-ish launch date.#OnePlus #OnePlusNord2
— Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings) July 5, 2021Some alleged renders of the OnePlus Nord 2 have been leaked previously suggesting that its design is heavily inspired by the OnePlus 9 series that has a vertical camera module on the back. Here’s everything you need to know about the leaked specifications of the OnePlus Nord 2.

— Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings) July 5, 2021 OnePlus Nord 2 leaked specificationsThe OnePlus Nord 2 is expected to feature a 6.43-inch Full HD+ display that uses an AMOLED panel with support for upto a 90Hz refresh rate along with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Previous rumours indicate that the Nord 2 could be the first OnePlus phone to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor and will likely be offered with upto 12GB RAM and 256GB storage options to choose from.
Furthermore, the Nord 2 has triple cameras on the back as seen from the leaked renders. There could be a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP macro camera. The primary 50MP cameras could be the same as the OnePlus 9 Pro that uses Sony IMX766 sensor. The front-facing camera is expected to be a 32MP unit.
The OnePlus Nord 2 could be equipped with a 4,500mAh battery that will likely support fast charging.

Battlegrounds Mobile India crosses 10 million downloads mark on the Google Play Store
Battlegrounds Mobile India may have been officially available for barely a few days. But that was enough time for the game to garner over 10 million downloads on the Google Play Store. As such, the game is now the ‘Top Free Game’ in the store. It is also currently placed at the number two spot in the list of the ‘Top Grossing Games’, second only to Garena Free Fire. The number of downloads for Battlegrounds Mobile India will only increase as time goes on. It should be noted that the game garnered over 20 million re-registrations before the official launch.
Of course, anyone who has followed the story of Battlegrounds Mobile India would know that such high numbers are understandable. To recall, the game was suddenly banned by the Indian government, which cited security and privacy issues. At the time, it was one of the most popular games in the country. So naturally, the move disappointed a lot of gamers. So when Krafton announced the launch of PUBG Mobile India sometime around November, excitement was at a high once again. However, the launch was delayed once again.
A few months later, Krafton announced that the game would finally make a comeback albeit with a new name, Battlegrounds Mobile India. The game would be functionally the same as PUBG Mobile, barring a few changes to tone down the violence and combat the alleged addictive nature of the game. The new game is exclusive to India and will offer events and in-game items exclusive to the country.
In order to assist users who spent money on in-game purchases, Krafton Inc. introduced a data transfer system that will allow players to transfer their old PUBG Mobile account to Battlegrounds Mobile India. However, the developer recently announced that it was temporarily halting the service after July 6, and has not yet specified when it will return. This move comes after it was alleged that the game was sending data back to servers in China. As such, players who wish to retrieve their old accounts should do so before July 6.
