Garena will temporarily remove Kar98K rifle from Free Fire

Garena has announced that it will be temporarily removing the Kar98K sniper rifle from the game. In a message to players, the developers noted that they found a pretty major in-game bug with the weapon. Apparently, the bug allowed the gun to perform an instant kill on players. While this may seem pretty awesome if you have the weapon, it’s not as fun if you are on the receiving end. The developers did not specify when the weapon will return, but did note that it will make a comeback once the bug has been fixed.

The Kar98K is a classic bolt action sniper rifle that is available as a standard drop on the map. However, while it may be a standard drop, it’s still a very powerful weapon and can be devastating in the right hands. One of its key features is that it comes pre-attached with an 8x scope that makes it a sniper’s best friend. While other weapons like the AWM may offer slightly better stats, the Kar98K can still hold its own even at the end of the map.

In related news, Garena announced that it was removing Jai from the game. The developed note that the character will not be available in the store after July 31. However, players who have already purchased the Jai can continue to use him in games. The character of Jai is based on Bollywood actor, Hritik Roshan. The character comes with a skill called Raging Reload. With this skill, the player will automatically reload their gun up to 30% when killing a player. Jai is currently priced at 499 in-game Diamonds.

Garena Free Fire: Hritik Roshan-based Jai character will be removed from the store after July, 2021

Garena has announced that the Jai character in Free Fire will soon be taken out of the store. The developers note that Jai will no longer be sold after July 31. However, players who already own the character can continue to use it without any issue even after the date. Garena also notes that players will be given the chance to get Jai for free via a special farewell event that will be added to the game soon.

Garena Free Fire: Jai

The character of Jai was added to the Free Fire as a partnership between Garena and Bollywood actor, Hritik Roshan. Jai is described as a decorated SWAT commander. As one might expect from such a backstory, the character is well versed with weapons and his ability reflects that. Jai has a passive ability called Raging Reload. This ability automatically reloads Jai’s weapon by up to 30% of its capacity when he takes down an opponent. However, this is limited to assault rifles, pistols, SMG and shotguns. This makes Jai quite a good choice for players who are almost constantly pushing opponents and taking on enemies.

Jai is currently available for 499 in-game Diamonds. However, Garena notes that players will be able to pick up the character for free via a special farewell event. However, details of the event are not yet known. Those who plan to top up on Diamonds to purchase Jai would be happy to note that Garena is currently running a Top-up event. Those who purchase at least 100 Diamonds will get the Dr. Beanie pet. While purchasing 300 or 500 Diamonds will net them the Dr. Beanie Show Off emote and the DJ Beanie pet skin respectively.

iPhone 13 Specifications: Difference between Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E

According to the report, Wi-Fi 6E in iPhone 13 will debut later this year and will soon become an industry standard for iPhones as well as for Android smartphones moving forward.

The newer Wi-Fi 6E uses the 6 (802.11ax) standard and allows access to a new 6GHz wireless network. Wi-Fi 6E offers a greater number of higher bandwidth channels. With the help of these channels, it becomes easier for applications to stream UHD content.

Additionally, Wi-Fi 6E also improves security protocols by making WAP 3 mandatory for devices operating in 6GHz. Devices operating in 6GHz have more secure WiFi traffic and they're difficult to hack as well.

The iPhone 13 series launch will most likely follow Apple's tradition and take place in September this year. Almost every new generation of iPhones gets launched with one or two new colour schemes. Similarly, the iPhone 13 Pro could launch into these new colour options - Pearl, Matte Black, Sunset Gold, and Rose.

Some reports also claim that the iPhone 13 will not feature any new major design changes and will retain the notch, which at this point is a signature of the series.

How to unlock the new Shorty shotgun in Call of Duty: Mobile

Call of Duty: Mobile’s Shorty shotgun is now available to players. This is the second weapon players can earn in Season 5 following the CR-56 AMAX assault rifle that could be earned by reaching Tier 21 of the free Battle Pass. In order to unlock this weapon, however, players will have to complete the Sawed-Off Shenanigans Seasonal Event.

As one might expect, The Seasonal Challenge tests the player's ability with shotguns. As such, most of the missions feature the use of shotguns. Here’s a list of all the missions players will have to complete in order as well as the rewards they will get.

Play any three matches in any mode: 200x Credits and 1000x Battle Pass XP Kill 10 enemies with any shotgun: Backpack 1 - Helm, 2000x Battle Pass XP Loot five shotguns in BR matches: 25x Weapon XP cards, 2000x Battle Pass XP Kill 15 enemies with any shotgun equipped with the Amped perk: Echo shotgun - Helm, 3000x Battle Pass XP Kill 20 enemies with any shotgun equipped with any Charm: Charm - Puffer Punk, 3000x Battle Pass XP Kill 15 enemies with the BY15 shotgun equipped with any five attachments: Shorty shotgun, 4000x Battle Pass XP Win 5 MP Matches with any Shorty equipped (The Shorty must be equipped in-hand at the end of the match: Rhinestone frame, 4000x Battle Pass XP

The Shorty is a double-barrel break-action sawed-off shotgun. However, what sets this weapon apart from the rest of the shotguns is the fact that it is a secondary weapon. As such players can carry it as a backup to an assault rifle, sniper, SMG or marksman rifle. They can even carry a primary shotgun if they want. As with any shotgun, the Shorty offers a very high level of damage at close range. In fact, the weapon can usually make extremely quick work of opponents in close quarters. However, this is balanced out with the fact that the weapon has very limited capacity.

GTA 5 on PS5, Xbox Series X, and Series S reveals new next-generation features

While we don’t yet have any solid information on GTA 6, the decade-old GTA 5 is getting next-gen features on PS5, Xbox Series X and Series S. The new GTA 5, dubbed as the “expanded and enhanced edition,” is ready for a launch on the ninth generation of consoles later this year. The new GTA 5 will supposedly make use of the updated PS5, Xbox Series X and Series S hardware and could include features like Ray-tracing, 60 FPS support and faster load times.

However, Rockstar recently confirmed one next-gen feature of the “expanded and enhanced GTA 5.” which affects the in-game vehicle customisation.

GTA 5 on PS5 Xbox Series X Series S next-generation features

GTA 5 PS5, Xbox Series X next-generation feature confirmed

The new GTA 5 will feature the option to let players customise specific vehicles with speed-related improvements. In an official announcement, Rockstar said "When GTA Online launches on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S later this year, select vehicles will be upgradable with all new speed improvements and more."

No one knows details about these “improvements,” but we think it’d add certain performance upgrades for select in-game vehicles. We will surely see these features in GTA Online on PS5, Xbox Series X and Series S but probably not in story mode.

Rockstar abandoned the work on a single-player GTA DLC years ago. Therefore it’s highly unlikely they’d add new features in the game’s story mode.

GTA 6 connection and release date

Some rumours speculate that GTA 5 and GTA 6 will be connected in a very subtle way. According to the latest information, GTA 6 feature an ever-evolving Vice City map and is still in early development. Leaked information puts GTA 6 release date somewhere between 2024-2025.
