Krafton announced PUBG: New State globally, earlier in February this year but India was not in the first wave of regions to get the game since PUBG Mobile was banned last year. In July, Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) was released with some India-centric features and recently hit 50 million downloads on the Play Store.
PUBG: New State is a new game that follows the battle royale formula but twists it in a futuristic way as this game is set in the year 2051. Not much is known about New State since it is still being tested across the globe. However, we do know that the game is set in future with a map called Troi which is 8x8 km in size just like the original PUBG Mobile / BGMI maps, Erangel and Miramar.
