Free Fire Moco Rebirth Event: Details, Rewards, Exclusive Items - All you need to know

The popular Mobile Game - Garena Free Fire is all set to trigger a blast between the mobile gamers community by launching a Special Event : Moco Rebirth. One of the most popular, user’s favourite in-game character Moco - will be having it’s very own in-game event : Moco Rebirth. 

“The Moco: Rebirth event will introduce players to the awakened Moco, an outlaw who aided her friend, Steffi in her escape from prison,” reads a post from Garena.

All About the Free Fire Moco Rebirth Event

“The Moco: Rebirth event will reveal the awakened version of the character, an outlaw who aided friend Steffi in her escape from prison. During this mission, Moco comes across an old friend who paves the way for her awakening. Once fully awakened, Moco is convinced she is not bound by the rules of the world and is free to live her life however she wishes.The genius hacker - Moco’s ability is to tag enemies that are shot, sharing this information with fellow teammates. “

Awakened characters are special versions of traditional Free Fire characters with different abilities, skills, and looks from the original ones. For now, the game has three other awakened versions of characters: Hayato “Firebrand,” Kelly “The Swift,” and Andrew “The Fierce.”

The Coder’s Crib, the interface inspired by Moco, will be the main place for the users to participate in this event and get exclusive items, collectibles and rewards.  It will bring daily activities and login rewards such as Moco currency, which players can exchange for exclusive items from the in-game Horizon store. Players can collect themed costumes and exclusive Cyber Falco’s pet skin, available during the event. 

Apart from these, there are four bundles available from 7-13 September; the Flashing Spade Bundle, Eternal Diamond Bundle, Dreamy Club Bundle, and Blazing Heart Bundle. 

Free Fire Moco Rebirth Event: Multiple events lined up for this month

The awakened Moco takeover will offer Survivors an exciting September, especially for fans of the character Moco.  Rebirth event themed costumes and collections will be among the additions players can look forward to. A new pet, Sensei Tig, and other exclusive pet skins will also be made available during the event. 

Garena had also introduced a brand new event where you have to solve a puzzle. That’s why the event is known as The Free Fire Puzzle Event. The event is scheduled from 6th September to 12th September. The players will have seven days to complete the mission to get special rewards. In this event, we can see the rebirth of Moco. Here, the players have to keep Moco away from all the obstacles. You might know, Moco is known as “chat noir” for her skill and intelligence. She has the ability to hack into any computer she wants without anyone noticing thus making it a great character to choose in game.

Garena has confirmed bringing in a new set of events to introduce their Moco character in the Battle Royale game. The game offers more than 30 playable characters to choose from, but only the specific ones get their exclusive events. 

Free Fire Moco: Rebirth - All the Events To Look Out For

As per the event calendar released, Moco Rebirth event is split into 12 amazing parts all with their own rewards. 

The exciting event begins with the Puzzle Event from September 6 to 12, where users receive the Moco Month Banner and the Turquoise Warning as amazing rewards. The Moco’s Free Swing event is scheduled from September 5 to 13; where users just have to log in continuously for 5 days to get the skin; and it’s basically free. Then 3 main challenges begin on September 10 then end on the 26th; the Daily Login Rewards, the Coder’s Crib Event offers rewards such as a female bundle, the cyber Falco pet skin, a parachute, a grenade skin, and much more and finally, we have the Aftermatch Drop. After that, there is the Moco’s Challenge from September 12 to 21, offering a skateboard skin as a reward. Moco’s Pan Login Event from 12th September to 23rd, and as the name suggests, offers a pan skin as reward. Then we have the Moco Jump Event from September 15 to 26 with a bag skin. Then on September 18, we have 3 single-day challenges,  Next, Sep 18 Login presents you with the Awakened Moco Bundle, Playtime on Sep 18 gives you a car skin, then we have the Peak Day Double Drop special.  Finally, players get a new game mode called the Stronghold Mode;  available from September 18 to September 22

2021 has been a highly volatile year for Bitcoin. In April 2021, it touched an all-time high of $ 65,000 (roughly ₹ 47.7 lakhs). On May 13, Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced that his company would no longer accept Bitcoin as a payment mode. In the same month, Bitcoin prices corrected by more than 50 percent from the all-time high. After a few months of consolidation, it reclaimed the $ 50,000 level (roughly ₹ 36.8 lakhs).

Bitcoin declared legal tender in El Salvador

September 7, 2021, marked the “beginning of a new dawn,” as El Salvador, officially the Republic of El Salvador, a country in Central America, became the first country in the world to declare Bitcoin (Code: BTC) as legal tender. Backed by President Nayib Bukele, the legislative assembly of El Salvador passed the Bitcoin law on June 8, 2021. The law took effect on September 7, 2021. With this move, Bitcoin has become an official currency for El Salvador, alongside the US Dollars (Code: USD).

Ahead of the launch, El Salvador president Nayib Bukele tweeted that the country had bought 400 Bitcoins. As per the price at the time of the tweets, the price of 400 Bitcoins totalled roughly $ 21 million (roughly ₹ 155 crores). On Tuesday morning, Bitcoin prices were close to hitting the $ 53,000 mark. However, it corrected by nearly 10 percent in the next few hours. The downtrend was visible in other cryptocurrencies as well.

Amazon has added another streaming dongle, Fire TV Stick 4K Max in India. The company’s range of Fire TV Sticks also includes Fire TV Stick 4K, Fire TV Stick Plus, Fire TV Stick, and Fire TV Stick Lite. 

Compared to the Fire TV Stick 4K, the new 'Max' variant brings in better performance hardware and integrates support for Wi-Fi 6 for a nominal increase in price. 

Price and availability 

The new Fire TV Stick 4K Max is available for INR 6,499 in India. In comparison, the Fire TV Stick 4k is available for INR 5,999 - a difference of only INR 500. 

Fire TV Cube (review) with Hexa-core chipset and 16GB storage remains the most powerful streaming option from Amazon in India, retails for INR 12,999 (and was available for a discounted price of Rs. 8,999 on Prime Day).

Fire TV Stick 4K Max vs Fire TV Stick 4K: What has changed?

On the outside, both of these Fire TV Sticks have the exact same dimensions, but interestingly the new 4K Max is a few grams lighter (48.3 grams vs 53.6 grams). 

The biggest upgrade is that the new Fire TV Stick 4K Max employs a faster chipset. It’s powered by 1.8GHz MT8696 quad-core SoC with 750 MHz IMG GE8300 GPU and Amazon claims a 40% improvement in performance compared to the original Fire TV Stick 4K that’s powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core processor paired with the MG GE8300 GPU clocked at 650 MHz. 

Apart from faster CPU and GPU, RAM capacity has also been increased from 1.5GB to 2GB in the new Fire TV 4K Max. Owing to the upgrade in performance hardware, the new FireTV Stick 4K Max gets a low latency mode and includes a Live View feature for picture-in-picture feed from select smart home devices like doorbells and security cameras. 

Another notable difference is that the new Fire TV Stick 4K Max can connect to Wi-Fi 6 router and leverage faster speeds. 

Other than these changes, the other features remain similar and the storage is still capped at 8GB. Both of these 4K UHD streaming solutions run Amazon’s Fire OS, bundle Alexa Voice remote and support popular HDR formats including  Dolby Vision, HDR 10, HDR10+, and HLG and support Dolby Atmos audio.

Google Search page finally receives a Dark Mode update

It looks like Google has finally taken a step forward and given users the option of changing the Search page. The company rolled out a bunch of Dark Mode updates to its apps and now the feature is finally available on the Search page. The feature was available on mobile but has now made its way to the desktop version of the Search page. The feature turns the entire page dark with the Google logo standing out in a shade of white. It’s s nice addition, thematically.

The update is rolling out slowly and should hit all users in the next few weeks. You can head on over to the Settings page on Google.com and select Appearance. Just remember that unless Dark Mode has been enabled on your account, the Appearance tab will not show up. Clicking on the tab will take you to a new page where you will be able to enable Dark Mode. You can also have Google switch the theme automatically. 

Earlier, we reported that Google confirmed that it is testing out the feature on the Search page for Desktop. According to Google, search pages’ backgrounds will also appear in Dark Mode. In a statement, Google said, “We’re always testing new ways to improve our experience for our users, but don’t have anything specific to announce right now.”. Samsung adds virtual RAM to Galaxy A52s 5G in new update

Samsung has added 4GB virtual memory or RAM Plus to Galaxy A52s 5G in India via an OTA update. VRAM has been around for a while but is currently being marketed for phones by a number of Android brands including Oppo, Vivo, OnePlus, Realme and Xiaomi. Now that Samsung is aboard, we can expect RAM plus to be passed on to other affordable phones from the brand belonging to M and A series. 

For the Galaxy A52s 5G, RAM Plus is part of the A528BXXU1AUH9 update which is a 250MB download and also integrates the August security patch and camera improvements.

What is Samsung’s RAM Plus?

Samsung RAM Plus is virtual memory or VRAM where a portion of the storage is allocated as RAM. The concept is quite popular for PCs and has been a part of Android OS for a while. 

Of course, your phone’s storage is nowhere as fast as your Phone’s RAM, so don’t expect a significant performance bump. However, having additional virtual RAM will mean that your phone will be able to hold more apps in the RAM. This is to say that even if you navigate back to an app, there will be a higher probability that you will be able to continue from right where you left off, even if you weren’t using the said app very recently - and that always invokes a pleasant feeling.

Many phones with aggressive RAM management are also aggressive with virtual RAM management, but hopefully, as the trend catches on we will see better VRAM implementation and usage evolve with time. 

Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G specifications 

The Snapdragon 778-powered Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G was recently launched in India for INR 35,999. It includes a 6.5-inch Full HD+ (2400x1080 pixels) resolution AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The Galaxy A52s 5G is IP67 dust and water-resistant certified and looks and feels similar to the Galaxy A52 that was introduced earlier in India. The SoC is assisted by up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage and the software is OneUI 3.1 which is based on Android 11. 

The Galaxy A52s has a 64MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a 12MP ultra-wide camera with a 123-degree field-of-view, a 5MP macro camera and a 5MP depth sensor. There is also a 32MP selfie camera on the front. It houses a 4,500mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging.

Battlegrounds Mobile India celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi with an in-game event

Battlegrounds Mobile India is getting into the spirit of Ganesh Chaturthi. Krafton Inc has announced special in-game celebrations that will give players the chance to earn a bunch of in-game items. Called Ganesh Chaturthi New Beginnings, the event sees players tasked with completing three missions. Once all three are complete, players will get their rewards.

Battlegrounds Mobile India: Ganesh Chaturthi Missions

The first mission can be completed any time between September 8 and September 14. Players will have to swim at least 10m every day in classic mode. The second task asks players to play the classic mode 60 times between September 8 and September 21. The final task needs to be completed between September 15 and September 21. To complete that, players need to play any mode five times with friends. 

Battlegrounds Mobile India: Ganesh Chaturthi rewards

Players who manage to complete all of the missions will get a special in-game Wild elephant shirt permanently. They will also earn Classic crate coupons and in-game currency. 

Krafton Inc recently posted a few FAQs on its official Battlegrounds Mobile India website, which gave us a sneak peek at some of the features that the developers are working on. The developers revealed that they were reviewing the addition of Hindi voice packs, prime subscriptions, and bonus challenges. However, it should be noted that Krafton has not confirmed the addition of these futures, but will notify players if anything is confirmed. You can read more about that here.

Lawyers OnePlus Nord 2 catches fire and explodes, heres what happened next

A lawyer’s OnePlus Nord 2 caught fire and exploded in the capital, causing him injuries around the stomach. This isn’t the first time we have heard about the Nord 2 causing a blast as last month, a Nord 2 exploded inside a bag in Bengaluru. Upon investigating, OnePlus said that it was caused due to external damage and was not a manufacturing defect. However, this second incident does raise some questions as to what is causing these Nord 2’s to explode.

OnePlus Nord 2 was launched back in July as the successor to the original OnePlus Nord in the mid-range premium segment. The Nord 2 is the first OnePlus phone to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor and features 50MP triple cameras along with a 4,500mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging. It's priced starting at Rs 27,999 in India.

What happened?

According to a report by MySmartPrice, Advocate Gaurav Gulati’s OnePlus Nord 2 caught fire inside his air-conditioned court chamber and exploded. The phone was kept idle and was not being charged as per Gaurav and he sustained some injuries around the stomach.

The images shared by Gaurav on Twitter show a completely damaged Nord 2 with burned internals. He told MySmartPrice that he was in his lawyer’s coat when he felt the excess heat and saw smoke coming out of his phone in the pocket. “I immediately threw the gown and once my colleagues and I went close to the phone, it exploded. The entire chamber was filled with smoke after that,” he said during a telephonic conversation with Gadgets360.

Once he tweeted out about this mishap, OnePlus approached Gaurav and a team visited him and asked him to submit the remains of the phone for further investigation. However, he told this both to MySmartPrice and Gadgets 360, that he found the company’s approach towards the incident insensitive.

The New Delhi based advocate will now file an FIR against OnePlus and Amazon on Saturday, September 11 with an aim to ban the sale of Nord 2 in India and for OnePlus to recall all units sold for a detailed analysis.

OnePlus responds

OnePlus has also tried to clear some air around the incident and sent a formal statement to the media. 

“A few days ago, an individual notified us about an alleged blast case for the OnePlus Nord 2 on Twitter, and our team immediately reached out to this individual to verify the legitimacy of the claim. We take every claim such as this very seriously out of concern for user safety. However, despite multiple attempts to analyse the device, including a visit to the premises yesterday to examine it in the individual's presence, he has so far denied us the opportunity to perform a proper diagnosis. Under such circumstances, it is impossible for us to verify the legitimacy of this claim or address this individual's demands for compensation,” OnePlus said.

While it’s clear that a Nord 2 did cause a blast, the real cause remains to be identified and it is up to OnePlus to come clean on what’s causing the phone to suddenly catch fire. Of course, it could be an isolated incident in which case, OnePlus’ investigation will reveal what actually happened and why did it explode when it wasn’t even charging.
