It’s official - the OnePlus 9 series and the Oppo Find X3 series will be the first to receive the Android 12 based ColorOS 12 updates, initiating the brands’ migration from the Hydrogen OS and Android 11 OS respectively.

By posting on Weibo through the official ColorOS account, Oppo and OnePlus revealed that the Oppo Find X3 series and the OnePlus 9 series will be the first offerings from the brands to receive the ColorOS 12 update through an open beta in China. As of now, it is unclear when the OS will be available to regular users of the smartphones. The only other bit of information the brands have revealed is that the ColorOS for the OnePlus 9 series will be slightly different from the OS that the Oppo Find X3 series will receive.
The post further details that the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro will receive the A.11 version of the ColorOS 12, while the Oppo Find X3 will be getting the A.28 version of the update. On the other hand, Oppo Find X3 Pro and the Oppo Find X3 Pro Mars Exploration Edition will receive the A.27 version of the update.
What can users expect from the ColorOS 12?
A few features of the ColorOS 12 were revealed in September. These include 3D emojis (called omojis) Quick View cards, and new shortcuts. The update should also let you operate your smartphone while using a windows 11 or 12 laptop.

In January, Oppo launched the Oppo A55 5G in China powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and 6GB RAM/128GB ROM option at ¥1,599 (approx. ₹18,400). Last Friday Oppo announced its A55 in India, it's latest member in the budget oriented A series. Oppo A55 will be available on Amazon Great Indian Festival sale from 3rd October. It's a big upgrade in both specs and price from its predecessor A53.

Oppo A55 will sport a 6.51 inch 720x1,600 (HD+) display with 20:9 aspect ratio, 269ppi of pixel density, and a 89.2% screen-to-body ratio. The mobile weighs 193 grams. It will be available in two unique color options, Rainbow Blue and Starry Black, with an astonishing 3D curved design on the back.

The 8BitDo Pro Bluetooth gamepad is compatible with PC, macOS, Android, Steam, Raspberry Pi and the Nintendo Switch. The controller features custom profile switching as well as a 4-way mode switching button. It also comes with two additional buttons on the rear that can be used for added controls.
