OnePlus 9RT officially launched with Snapdragon 888, upgraded cameras and more

The OnePlus 9RT has officially launched in China as an upgrade to the OnePlus 9R which debuted earlier this year alongside the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro.

The OnePlus 9RT has received a new chipset, a new primary camera and a larger screen which makes it more than just an incremental upgrade to the 9R. That being said, there’s no word on the launch of the OnePlus 9RT in India yet.

OnePlus 9RT specifications and pricing

The OnePlus 9RT features a large 6.62-inch AMOLED display that offers Full HD+ resolution along with support for 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ certification. The display is bigger than both the OnePlus 9 and 9R and is topped with a layer of Gorilla Glass 5. It measures 8.3mm in thickness and weighs 198.5 grams.

It is powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset with an octa-core CPU and Adreno 660 GPU. This is paired with upto 12GB RAM and 256GB storage options to choose from.

OnePlus 9RT features and availability

The OnePlus 9RT has a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS, a 16MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera. The rear cameras can record in 4K at 60FPS and we also get a 16MP selfie camera tucked away in the punch-hole notch cutout in the top-left corner.

It also has stereo speakers and an in-screen optical fingerprint reader. There is a 4,500mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging out of the box which OnePlus claims can fully charge the battery in 29 minutes.

The OnePlus 9RT is priced starting at CNY 3,299 (~Rs 38,600)for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The 8GB+256GB storage variant is priced at CNY 3499 (~Rs 40,900) and the maxed-out version with 12GB+256GB storage is priced at CNY 3799 (~Rs 44,000).

Apart from long outages, Instagram has also been facing technical issues that disrupt the ability of content creators to upload media onto the app. With the social media platform trying to merge multiple functionalities like Reels, Instagram stories, Instagram videos, and posts, users frequently face issues that hamper the reach of their content. 

This new feature should help users identify potential issues and create content plans based on the same. It can prevent them from uploading content during an outage period and mitigate the risk of that content piece not reaching its full potential.

When is Instagram’s new feature rolling out?

India’s newest crypto exchange platform launched in Hyderabad

BITSZ, a Made-In-India crypto exchange platform was launched in Hyderabad on Sunday. Founded by Naveen Kumar, the platform provides a 24 x 7 multilingual live chat service and 100 percent insurance on users’ wallets.

While interacting with the press, Kumar announced that the platform’s trading volume has crossed 1 million. He further said that the platform has five-plus exchanges and more than 2,000 retail investors. 

“Cryptocurrencies are growing, and we are positive it will lead the market. There is a lack of awareness of digital currency, and this issue can get solved with the support of this platform,” said Naveen Kumar, BITSZ Founder.

BITSZ is the only crypto exchange platform to provide insurance on users’ wallets

BITSZ has tied up with digital asset management Fireblocks to provide insurance to users on all types of wallets. The company claims that it is the only exchange to provide 100 percent insurance on all wallets. The partnership will also help new crypto traders trade safely. The company also claims that the platform has the capacity to handle 30 million transactions per second.

“Extensive efforts have been made to launch a platform that provides insurance for all accounts. Ours is the only platform in the market that ensures every user wallet is secure, compared to other platforms in the market. The platform does not have bugs, and supports Anti-Money Laundering,” said Kumar in a press note.

The Grand Theft Auto Trilogy Definitive Edition will come to your PCConsole soon

With the 20th anniversary of Grand Theft Auto III approaching, Rockstar Games has confirmed that the Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas games will be remastered. The three remastered games will be included as a part of a series known as The Grand Theft Auto Trilogy - Definitive Edition. Now, before you hardcore fans take to your message boards, here’s a quick note - the games will retain the original look and feel, with improvements in graphics and gameplay that won’t take away from what you loved most about them.

Where will the Grand Theft Auto Trilogy - Definitive Edition be available?

Rockstar Games has officially confirmed that the trilogy will be available on a bunch of platforms including the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/ S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and the Rockstar Games Launcher on PC. Additionally, the games will also come to iOS and Android around the first half of 2022.

However, while Rockstar Games has confirmed a ton of details, it has kept its lips sealed regarding the launch dates. To prepare for the launch, however, older versions of the games will be removed from retailer websites, so if you still haven't bought the original titles, might as well wait for the remastered ones. On the other hand, if you’ve already bought these games, you’ll still be able to download and play them on your consoles/PC. 

Rockstar Games will also be introducing new in-game gear to celebrate the games’ 20th anniversary. This gear will be available in GTA Online.

Battlegrounds Mobile India, Diwali in-games

There will be a lamp exchange event in Battlegrounds Mobile India starting on October 20 to November 9. Users can collect lamp items through different in-game missions and then exchange them with permanent ‘Cool Cat set and headband’, permanent ‘Rock Star-Mini14’, and Crate Coupon Scraps.

Additionally, a Diwali log-in event will start from October 29 and go on till November 8, 2021. You can basically log in to the game for seven days and earn the ‘Naughty Kitty set and headband’ (valid for 14 days each), Crate Coupon Scrap, and AG.

Also, there will be a premium crate special sale for a limited time. This will last from October 15 to 25. You can buy one 50% discount coupon that will be valid for the Premium crate. The crate will help users unlock new items in the game.
