Oppo K10 launched in India with Enco Air 2: Price and Specifications

Oppo India has brought the first K-series product in the market namely Oppo K10. It sports a unique Glow Design which is both matte and glossy in parts. The back of the phone has got a 50MP+2MP+2MP triple camera, meanwhile, the front camera lies in a punch-hole cutout. This fascia is a 6.59-inch LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate. Inside, Oppo has housed a Snapdragon 680 processor with up to 8+128GB memory and a 5000mAh battery. 

Now, besides the phone, Oppo unveiled the Enco Air 2 also. Let’s first check out the phone and then the earbuds.

Oppo K10 Specifications and Features

Oppo K10 has got a 6.59 IPS LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, and up to 600 nits of peak luminance. There is a left-cornered housing for a 16MP selfie shooter. 

As for the back, the camera set comprises a 50MP primary sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro module.

The internal machinery consists of a Snapdragon 680 chipset with 6+128 or 8+128GB memory combinations (LPDDR4x+UFS 2.2), a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

In the list of specs, Oppo also offers Android 11 based ColorOS 11, a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB-C 2.0 port, side-mounted fingerprint reader, WiFi ac, Bluetooth 5.0, IP5X dust resistance, a dedicated Micro-SD card slot, and dual VoLTE SIM support.

Oppo K10 will be available in Blue and Black colours. You can buy the 6+128GB model of Oppo K10 at ₹14,990 and the higher 8+128GB unit at ₹16,990. It will go on sale from March 29, 2022, at 12:30 PM IST across Flipkart, Oppo website, and select retail stores.

The launch offers include a No Cost EMI up to 3 months, a flat discount of INR 2000 on SBI bank cards and EMI transactions, and of INR 1000 on transactions through Standard Chartered and Bank of Baroda Credit Cards and Credit Card EMI. You can also have a 1-year subscription to Disney+Hotstar delivered in just 90 minutes to select pin codes through Flipkart Quick.

Oppo Enco Air 2 Price, Specs, and Availability

Oppo Enco Air 2 will retail at ₹2,499 through March 29 via Oppo and other major online stores. For that price, the TWS brings 13.4mm dynamic drivers, a 24-hours of claimed battery life, a Bass Booster sound profile, touch controls, AI noise cancellation for calls, an 80ms low-latency game mode and weighs just 3.5 grams.

WhatsApp is adding Emoji reactions and a Manual Language Change

Meta-owned WhatsApp messenger is getting new features like Message Reactions and a language picker. The former is something borrowed from the company’s sister concern Instagram. These emoji reactions would supposedly work just like the Instagram DM reactions and may have the same 6 default emojis to choose from. The options include thumbs up, heart, laughter, shocked face, crying, and folded hands. We share a thumbs-up reaction to WABetaInfo who is the source of this revelation. Also speaking of options, you may soon get to pick the default language within WhatsApp. So, if you are not comfortable with English, you could choose the one you prefer to read all text in the app interface.

Starting WhatsApp beta on Android version 2.22.8.3, the messaging app gets emoji reactions. Here’s how that works:

You just have to long-press a received message. A pill-shaped banner will hover over the message with these 6 emoji choices: thumbs up, laughter, heart, crying, shocked face, and folded hands. Tap on the one who you want to react with and voila, that will be shown as your reaction to the message.

This is a very convenient way to interact with messages as you can convey the emotion without finding words or ways to phrase a feeling.

Well, it’s not just a WhatsApp Android feature as its iOS and web counterparts also have shown hints of emoji reaction coming to them. For example, earlier this year, a WhatsApp iOS beta version had one toggle to enable/disable “Reaction Notifications”.

Now, another WhatsApp feature that some of us would like to have is the ability to set our preferred language in the app.

Samsung Galaxy A23, Galaxy A13 India pricing, and specs have leaked

Samsung is expected to unveil more Galaxy A-series phones in the Indian market. The two names that may soon get listed on the Samsung India website are Galaxy A13 and Galaxy A23. Both are 4G phones with FHD+ LCD screens and 5000mAh batteries. However, as tipster Mukul Sharma claims, the Galaxy A13 may bear an Exynos 850 chipset while the Galaxy A23 may be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chip.

Besides the difference in their underlying processor, here’s what the leaked specs of Galaxy A13 and Galaxy A23 tell us:

Samsung Galaxy 13 may sport a 6.6-inch FHD+ TFT LCD screen on the front with an 8MP selfie camera. On the back, there could be a 50MP + 5MP + 2MP + 2MP quad rear camera setup.

Inside, the phone is powered by an Exynos 850 SoC with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It may benefit from up to 6GB RAM+ virtual expansion.

Samsung may arm the A13 with a 5000mAh battery that supports a 15W charging speed. Other perks of the phone may be a 3.5mm headphone jack, and multiple color options like black, blue, white, and, peach.

Galaxy A13 India pricing may begin at ₹14,999 for 4+64GB model, followed by ₹15,999 for the 4+128GB variant, and ₹17499 for the 6+128GB model.

You may get a 6.6-inch FHD+ TFT LCD screen on the Galaxy A23. The front camera may also be the same 8MP sensor. Even the leaked camera arrangement suggests a 50MP+5MP+2MP+2MP lineup.

At the core of the phone, there may be a Snapdragon 680 running the machinery. This may be aided by up to 8+128GB memory configuration along with up to 8GB VRAM.

The battery size could also be the same 5000 milliamps but the supported adapter may charge at 25 watts. Now whether it has a 3.5mm audio port or a bundled charger is something yet to be known.

Call of Duty Warzone and Vanguard Season 2 adds Rebirth Reinforced Map

Activision is rolling out the Call of Duty (COD) Warzone and Vanguard Season Two Reloaded with a new map and a bunch of treats to tantalize the players. You would get to wield the Armaguerra 43 and engage in a close-quarters battle. The COD store brings more weapons, modes, rewards, and soon a Snoop Dogg operator bundle. 

There’s a lot of existing stuff like this in the Call of Duty S02. Come, have a look.

In Season 2 of Call of Duty Vanguard and Warzone, you get to play a new mission in the Alps and aside from the new topography, there’ll be new arms and additional attractions to experience.

For instance, there is a vehicular combat mode and American rapper Snoop Dogg as a playable character. 

Snoop’s operator bundle will be part of COD Warzone and Vanguard from April 19.

As for the rest of the COD Season 2 update is concerned, the rollout begins from 9 AM PT on March 22 for Vanguard, and at 9 AM PT on March 23 for Warzone.

New features in COD Warzone S02 includes:

COD Rebirth Island Reinforced​

Rebirth Island Reinforced comes with several new points of interest like Stronghold (including structures like a radar building and a checkpoint gate), Dock (including two large ships), and Prison Yard (including a Water Tower and Redeploy Balloons). Three Modes viz. Payload (Plunder-mode), Blood Money (Objective-based mode), and Resurgence Solos (Respawn-enabled Deathmatch for sole survival) will be part of weekly playlists along with the Rebirth modes. Weapon Blueprints (like "Toxic Heavy" LMG configured for mid-to-long-range fights), 25000 XP to all participants (If the entire community earns enough kills), and new Features like Weapon Trade Stations and in-game events for Rebirth Island.

New things in COD Vanguard S02 includes:

New 12v12 Arms Race Mode, wherein you trail across the Alps in a 5-base fight, conquer bases, earn some cash in the process, and stock up your loadout (with weapons, equipment, killstreaks, field upgrades, etc) from the Buy Stations with the cash earned. New Vehicles like Two-seater Motorcycles, Four-seater CD12 Transport Vehicles, and Tanks (with built-in weaponry). Two New Rewards for ranking up the Top 250 Skill Division and Leaderboard besides party and menu updates to spice up the competition. Vanguard Zombies gets Critical Expertise, Explosives Expert Covenants, Dedicated Server Pause, and more.

Realme GT Neo 3 5G debuts with MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC and 150W charging

Realme GT Neo 3 5G has launched in its home market. It is engined by a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor. Other attractions include its VC liquid cooling system, Android 12 based Realme UI 3.0, 5G, and 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor. However, what’s even more exciting is that Realme offers a variant of this phone called the Realme GT Neo 3 150W version which is the world’s first phone with 150W charging support.

Realme GT Neo 3 5G has a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 1 billion colors, and HDR10+ support. There is a small indent in the middle that houses the phone’s 16MP selfie camera. 

Flip to the other side, and there you’ll see its 50MP+ 8MP (ultrawide)+ 2MP (tele-macro) triple camera setup. 

Under the hood, Realme has stowed in a Dimensity 8100 chipset, 4,129mm 9-layer tempered VC liquid cooling, up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The software on top is Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12. 

Now, as for battery size, there are two models. The one with 150W charging sports a 4500mAh battery while the other one with 80 watts has got a 5000mAh cell.

Other goodies you get with it are 5G, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, an under-display fingerprint scanner, NFC, GPS, Micro-SD card slot, and a USB Type-C 2.0 socket. 

You can pick the device in Purple, Silver, and Grey colors. Except for the last one, others have a car racetrack-inspired vertical stripes by the back.

Realme GT Neo 3 Price and Availability

The Realme GT Neo 3 (80W) is available in: 

CNY 1,999 (~₹23,900) for the 6+128GB model CNY 2,299 (~₹27,500) for the 8+128GB variant. CNY 2,599 (~₹31,700) for the top-end 12+256GB verison.

Then there is the Realme GT Neo 3 (150W) edition which comes at:

CNY 2,699 (~₹32,300) for the 8+256GB variant. CNY 2,899 (~₹34,700) for the 12+256GB model.

OnePlus to launch 6 new phones in India before Diwali festive season: Report

OnePlus has gradually increased the frequency of product launches since its merger with Oppo. A new report further claims that the company will be spacing out its 10 series, Nord series and T-series phones throughout the year, resulting in new launches almost every month. 

The OnePlus road map for the year 2022 was tipped by Yogesh Brar on Twitter and revealed a timeline for 6 new upcoming OnePlus phones. The tipster further reported that OnePlus could also launch a new Nord series smartwatch with the Nord 3 later in July.

OnePlus India launch timeline for 2022

All of these phones are scheduled to arrive before the Diwali festive season kicks off. Add to these the products in the audio (TWS earbuds) and wearable (smartwatch, fitness trackers) segments and you’d understand why it’s going to be a really busy Q2 and Q3 for OnePlus employees.

According to the report, there is no vanilla OnePlus 10 this year and the 10R will take care of the mid-range. The 10 Ultra will be a mid-year flagship refresh and it will be interesting to see how OnePlus manages to distinguish it. 

Spacing the devices through the year will hopefully give the OnePlus more breathing space when it comes to delivering stable software updates.

PS5 India Restock: PlayStation 5 to be Available for Pre-Orders on March 24

PlayStation 5 will be available for pre-order in India from March 24 at 12pm IST (noon). Deliveries are scheduled to begin from April 8.
