Instagram chronological feed finally returns: Heres how you can view most recent posts

Meta finally gives us what we wished for. The social giant has introduced the Chronological feed on Instagram. Well, Instagram once had this feature but then its parent company Facebook (now Meta) decided to switch the default Instagram feed to an algorithmic view. Since then, many wanted the company to bring back the feature and now it has. This new chronological Instagram view is called Following and although it presents the most recent posts from the people you follow, there’s no way to set it as the default view when you open the app.

Besides the Following View, you also get the Favourites option that displays only the people you choose. These could be your friends, family, celebrity crushes, preferred content creators, etc.

How to view the chronological Instagram feed

Instagram Following and Favourites​

First of all, ensure you have the latest Instagram app on Android or iOS. Open the Instagram app and stay on its home screen. Tap on the Instagram text at the top left corner. You will see two options — Following and Favourites Choose Following to see the most recent Instagram posts.

That’s it and now you can scroll over and heart the latest post from the people or pages you follow like good old days.

How the Instagram Favourites work

Add Instagram Favourites​

Clicking on the Favourites option shows the most recent posts from the chosen few people. The first time you tap on Favourites, you will get the option to Add Favourites. At present, you can add 50 accounts to this list. You can also add or remove the people as you please and those who have been added/removed won’t be notified about the same. These favoured accounts will show up higher on your feed with a star icon.

We think this Instagram update would be welcomed back by many and we would love to have more such features on the app in the future.

Oppo K10 launched in India with Enco Air 2: Price and Specifications

Oppo India has brought the first K-series product in the market namely Oppo K10. It sports a unique Glow Design which is both matte and glossy in parts. The back of the phone has got a 50MP+2MP+2MP triple camera, meanwhile, the front camera lies in a punch-hole cutout. This fascia is a 6.59-inch LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate. Inside, Oppo has housed a Snapdragon 680 processor with up to 8+128GB memory and a 5000mAh battery.

Oppo K10 Specifications and Features

Oppo K10 has got a 6.59 IPS LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, and up to 600 nits of peak luminance. There is a left-cornered housing for a 16MP selfie shooter. 

As for the back, the camera set comprises a 50MP primary sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro module.

The internal machinery consists of a Snapdragon 680 chipset with 6+128 or 8+128GB memory combinations (LPDDR4x+UFS 2.2), a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

In the list of specs, Oppo also offers Android 11 based ColorOS 11, a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB-C 2.0 port, side-mounted fingerprint reader, WiFi ac, Bluetooth 5.0, IP5X dust resistance, a dedicated Micro-SD card slot, and dual VoLTE SIM support.

Oppo K10 will be available in Blue and Black colours. You can buy the 6+128GB model of Oppo K10 at ₹14,990 and the higher 8+128GB unit at ₹16,990. It will go on sale from March 29, 2022, at 12:30 PM IST across Flipkart, Oppo website, and select retail stores.

Oppo Enco Air 2 will retail at ₹2,499 through March 29 via Oppo and other major online stores. For that price, the TWS brings 13.4mm dynamic drivers, a 24-hours of claimed battery life, a Bass Booster sound profile, touch controls, AI noise cancellation for calls, an 80ms low-latency game mode and weighs just 3.5 grams.
