Xiaomi is launching Redmi Note 11T series and Mi Band 7 on May 24

Xiaomi is unveiling a bunch of products on May 24, 2022, at 4:30 PM (IST). The spotlight will be on the Redmi Note 11T series of smartphones and the Mi Band 7 fitness band. The phones will be 5G-read and feature triple rear camera setups as well as “flagship-grade” LCD displays. The new wearable would have an AMOLED fascia and a SpO2 tracker. The details about its upcoming launches were divulged by the brand on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo.

We have already got the Redmi Note 11T 5G in India. So, it’s not clear whether Xiaomi would choose to launch the same device in its home market. For now, let’s go through the confirmed specs of the Redmi Note 11T Pro duo.

Redmi Note 11T Pro, Note 11T Pro+ Specs and Features

Redmi Note 11T Pro+ features

Both Redmi Note 11T Pro phones are expected to come with a 6.6-inch FHD+ 144Hz IPS LCD screen. They could have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Unlock the device and you are likely to see Android 12-based MIUI.

The underlying processor has been teased to be MediaTek Dimensity 8100 on the Pro+ model. The leaks suggest the Pro one will also have the same chipset.

On the back, both phones are said to have a triple camera setup, supposedly led by a 64MP sensor.

The other speculations surrounding the devices are the presence of VC liquid cooling, a 5000mAh battery, 67W fast charging, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and dual stereo speakers.

Xiaomi Mi Band 7 Specs and Features

Redmi Note 11T series and Mi Band 7

An alleged poster of the Mi Band 7 has leaked online that suggests the fitness wear could cost CNY 269 and sport features like a 1.56-inch AMOLED display with 490x192 resolution, a SpO2 tracker, and a 250mAh battery.

We will keep you posted on other details that we come across in the days leading to the launch day. However, if you are interested about the devices, note that you can prereserve them on the mi.com.

Instagram is reportedly changing how stories work check all the details here

Instagram, a wildly popular social media app from Meta, is reportedly testing a brand new feature to update how Instagram stories work. This is an updated Story layout that will hide excessive stories shared by a user. The update will make it so that only three stories per user are viewable before you move on to the next user's stories.

Instagram Stories Update: How will it change stories?

The new feature was first observed by Phil Ricelle, a Brazillian Instagram user, who pointed out that this change via a Tweet. The tweet contains a screenshot that shows the new Instagram Stories layout. He also showcased a new option located next to the user profile that reads 'Show All'. Essentially, Instagram is testing a change that will only show users three stories per user and hide the excess. The 'Show All' button will allow users to see all stories once again, should they wish to.

Menino @edisonlsm tambĂ©m caiu no “mostrar tudo” hahaha pic.twitter.com/3jzpRQ4LjF

— Phil Ricelle (@philricelle) May 17, 2022

Currently, Instagram allows its users to post up to 100 stories at a time that last for 24 hours before disappearing. The feature is possibly being tested out to attempt to combat users having to go through numerous stories at once. The update could help users see more from their connections without wasting too much time on one profile. Naturally, if this feature is implemented, views on the fourth story onwards will be impacted. This may not go down well with influencers though that rely on Stories to connect with their audience.

Instagram is reportedly changing how stories work with a new update

Formats such as Ask Me Anything and long sponsorship stories, popular in the influencer community, may be impacted due to this change. The 'Show All' button will provide some relief but influencers will have to ask their followers to enable this setting. Nevertheless, for general users, this may provide some much needed relief from having to sit through dozens of stories uploaded by one person, allowing them to see more from other users.

The alleged update hasn't rolled out to most users. Instagram is possibly still testing out the feature in controlled groups and will wait before rolling it out worldwide.
