Truecaller has shared its 2022 product roadmap for Android users. By which we mean the Swedish brand has shared five of the best Truecaller features for Android that we can expect this year. In fact, the company says the new Truecaller settings will be released to Android phones in the coming weeks. The communication app believes these new things will “enable users to experience secure, hassle-free and efficient communication”.
5 upcoming features of Truecaller 1. Voice Call LauncherTruecaller Voice Call Launcher is a one-tap solution to find all your contacts with whom you can talk on Truecaller Voice (which is VoIP-based calling).
2. Passcode lock for SMSYou can protect your SMS messages behind a passcode lock/fingerprint authentication for extra security of your personal data.
3. Enhanced Call LogsTruecaller call logs will now support up to 6400 entries which was just 1000 entries in the previous Truecaller version.
4. Improved Call ReasonWith the new Truecaller app, you will be able to add a Call reason during the Call itself. So, if your call is not being received by the other person, and if the phone is still ringing, you can either send predefined Call reasons like “It’s important”, and “Can we talk? “, or type a custom call reason that fits the context.
5. Face Filters for Video Caller IDYou can create Truecaller Video caller IDs with selfies and VR-powered filters.
If you want to try these new goodies, ensure you are on the latest Truecaller update. You can download Truecaller for Android from the Google Play Store.
Speaking on the future Truecaller improvements and vision, Mr. Rishit Jhunjhunwala, Chief Product Officer and Managing Director, Truecaller India, said: “The constant feedback we receive from our users has always helped us innovate and serve better. With a host of upcoming additions, we promise exciting times ahead for our Android users globally.
