Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 Price Leaked Ahead of Launch May Start at 87K

Fans are waiting with bated breath for the launch of Samsung’s new generation foldables – the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4. The highly-awaited phones will launch on August 10 at the Samsung Unpacked event and will succeed last year’s Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Z Fold 3. There have been multiple leaks and rumours about the phones, and now, some light has been thrown on the pricing of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 as well. Pricebaba, in collaboration with tipster Sudhanshu, divulged the European pricing of the upcoming Z Flip 4. Let’s take a look at the expected pricing.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 pricing leaked

According to the report, the clamshell foldable wonder will start at EUR 1,080 (approximately ₹87,000) for the 128 GB storage variant. The 256 GB variant of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 will be priced at EUR 1,160 (approximately ₹94,400) while the highest-end variant sporting 512 GB storage will be priced at EUR 1,280 (approximately ₹1,04,200). The actual price in India will, of course, vary, but this leak should give you a solid indication of what the final price tag will be. The report doesn’t mention the RAM of these models.

The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on August 10 and will possibly be headlined by the two foldables, the Galaxy Buds Pro 2, and the Galaxy Watch 5 series. 

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 expected specifications

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. It is rumoured to house a foldable 6.7-inch AMOLED display and a secondary 1.9-inch AMOLED screen. The display will possibly have 120 Hz refresh rate support and a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout. The phone will have three storage variants as mentioned above – 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB – and is expected to launch with up to 12 GB RAM. 

You can expect the phone to run OneUI 4.0 with Android 12 out of the box. The phone may draw power from a 4,400 mAh cell with support for 25 W fast charging. As for optics, we could see a 50 MP primary lens, a 12 MP ultrawide shooter, and a 10 MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.

BSNL May Rollout 4G Services For Pan India Subscribers By 2024

Telecom operators are preparing to launch 5G services in India. By the end of this year, customers should be able to avail 5G services from telecom providers like Jio, Airtel, and Vi if everything goes according to schedule. On the other hand, BSNL has not yet begun offering 4G services. To provide native 4G and 5G services to the general public, the state-owned telecom operator recently received government assistance and is working closely with Tata Consultancy Services. According to a recent report, BSNL intends to roll out 4G services across the country of India in the next 24 months.

According to a recent Economic Times report, the Tata Group subsidiary Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), which demonstrated the fourth generation, or 4G, proof-of-concept successfully, is working with the government-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) on network planning, technical, and commercial aspects.

TCS is all set to wrap up discussions with BSNL on a number of deployment-related and business-related prospects. Before the year is out, the company already has plans in place to deliver the first batch of equipment. Multiple testing phases have been conducted, including integration with their existing network and systems. The process reportedly went without a hitch.

TCS and BSNL are working together to complete the 4G deployment in the upcoming 18 to 24 months. A spokesperson has stated that the company is already working on it and has the 5G NSA core and radios in the likely bands ready for final testing.
