Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 price in India is 90,000 and Z Fold 4 price is 155 lakh

Samsung foldable Galaxy Flip4 is set to cost Rs 90,000 in India and the Galaxy Fold4 will be priced at Rs 1.55 lakh in the country, reliable industry sources said on Monday. Sources told IANS that the price hike this year, compared to the previous year foldable models, is due to rupee-dollar currency fluctuation and global market factors. PM Modi wants India to have energy independence and self-reliance in its EV sector

In another thrust to his electric vehicle (EV) dream, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said that the country needs to be 'Aatmanirbhar' (self-reliant) in its energy sector. Addressing the nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort on the 75th Independence Day, Modi said that from solar energy and bio fuels to adoption to electric vehicles (EVs), the country needs to "reach the next level for energy independence". Modi's push for EVs came as the electric two-wheeler industry is facing scrutiny over battery explosions and fire incidents that has led to several government probes. In a recent webinar on 'Make in India for the World', the prime minister asked the industry to tap growing opportunities in areas like semiconductors and EVs. "Aatmanirbharta is all the more important if we see from the prism of national security. The private sector needs to be more 'vocal for local'," he emphasised, asking the industry to boost domestic manufacturing in the EV sector. In his recent meeting with Suzuki Motor Corporation's senior advisor Osamu Suzuki in Tokyo, Modi discussed investment opportunities in India, including setting up production facilities for electric vehicles and batteries. The prime minister has emphasised that by 2030, India's economy would cut the intensity of greenhouse gas emission by 45 per cent of what it was in 2005. NITI Aayog has forecast that by 2030, nearly 80 per cent of the two- and three-wheelers, 40 per cent of buses and 30-70 per cent of the cars will run on electricity. India's transition to the electric mobility system can save Rs 20 lakh crore by 2030 on oil imports alone.

PM Modi shares his vision for Digital India in this Techade: Heres what it is

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said that the country's wait for the 5G technology is over and the benefits of 'Digital India' will reach every village soon. Addressing the nation from the Red Fort on the 75th Independence Day, Modi said that India's 'Techade' is here with 5G and local thrust on semiconductor and mobile phone manufacturing. "We are bringing revolution through 'Digital India' to the grassroots levels and soon, every village will be connected digitally as we usher in the 5G era," Modi said during his speech from the ramparts of the Red Fort. The Prime Minister is likely to officially launch the 5G network during the India Mobile Congress (IMC) on September 29. "From digital payments to mobile and semiconductor manufacturing, we are in a time of change that happens in an era. The digital age is changing around us. It has redefined politics, economy and society," he emphasised. "India is an aspirational society where changes are being powered by a collective spirit," said Modi. After a successful 5G spectrum auction, the country is likely to witness the roll out of the much awaited high speed 5G mobile services in about a month's time.

Using Apple AirTags for allegedly stalking ex-girlfriend puts a man behind bars

A man has been jailed for nine weeks for allegedly stalking after planting a covert Apple AirTag tracker on his ex-girlfriend's car, media reports say. According to DailyMail, Christopher Paul Trotman, 41, harassed his ex with constant phone calls and questions, before ordering an AirTag on Amazon and gluing it to her rear bumper to track her every move, a court heard. The Apple device uses a Bluetooth signal so a linked-up iPhone can find its location. Swansea Crown Court heard how Trotman of Gwynedd Avenue, Townhill, Swansea had been in a relationship with the victim for over 10 years before it broke down in August 2020, with the woman describing his 'controlling' behaviour during their time together. Prosecutor Tom Scapens said Trotman would bombard the woman with questions about her whereabouts after their break-up and even offered her money to quit her pub job, because he could not cope with her talking to other men. Then, in March this year, the victim bought a new iPhone and received a notification when she got in her car asking if she wanted to connect to an Apple AirTag. At the time, she did not know what it meant and ignored it. Later that month, she received a text from Trotman accusing her of sleeping with other men, the report said. He also asked her if she had enjoyed a night out on Swansea's Penderry Road that night, but she had no idea how he knew where she had been. His former lover discovered what he had done after her daughter also started getting notifications on her phone about connecting to an AirTag. A search of Trotman's Amazon account showed he had bought several Apple tags the previous month and the victim decided to examine her car. She found one of the tracking devices glued in a cavity under the rear bumper. The police were contacted and the AirTag was handed over.
