Will Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 feature an S-Pen slot Here is what we know
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold is one of the most popular foldable smartphones in the world. This year, the South Korean tech conglomerate released the fourth iteration of the device, i.e., the Galaxy Z Fold 4. It comes with an AMOLED display, is powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Soc, and features a triple rear camera setup. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 also supports inputs via an S-Pen. But there's a catch. Although the foldable device supports S-Pen, it does have room for the stylus in its chassis, as the Galaxy Note series did. However, that might change soon.
Future Galaxy Z Fold could ship with an in-built S-PenRecently, The Elec published a report saying that Samsung could add an S-Pen slot in its future Galaxy Z Fold phone. Per the report, Samsung had plans to include an S-Pen in the Galaxy Z Fold 4's chassis, but that did not work out due to space limitations. Nevertheless, if the report turns out to be accurate, we should see a Galaxy Z Fold 5 next year with space for the S-Pen.
Why does this matter anyway? Well, the latest Fold from the company, Galaxy Z Fold 4, comes with an S-Pen, neither in the phone nor in the box. This means that users not only have to purchase the S-Pen separately, but they also have to take care of the stylus as a separate device.
Although some cases come with a cylindrical housing that fits the S-Pen perfectly, it is still not as convenient as the in-built housing on the Galaxy Note or the S22 Ultra. Second, users have to charge the S-Pen separately with a Type-C charger. The inclusion of an S-Pen slot into the phone chassis will solve all these problems.
Why is it difficult to add an S-Pen to the Galaxy Z Fold? The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold series is a technological marvel. It is one of the few smartphones that have a working foldable display. While Samsung still has to perfect the hinge mechanism on its Galaxy Z Fold series, it has come a long way from its release in 2019. However, it is not easy to pack all the hardware components in a form factor containing two halves connected by a hinge.
Coming to the S-Pen, Samsung does not only have to make room for the stylus in Galaxy Z Fold's chassis but a charging mechanism as well. Further, Samsung is trying to make the Galaxy Fold series more durable and lightweight, making it more challenging to leave space for the S-Pen. However, there is no reason why Samsung won't be able to showcase yet another feat of engineering and design.

Tohos Shin Godzilla will return to theatres next year
One of theme most iconic movie monsters in history, Godzilla will be heading back to the big screen sometime next year. This isn’t the Legendary Godzilla, but rather the original character from the Toho films. The monster first appeared back in the 50s as Japan's reaction to nuclear annihilation and has since been rebooted both in Hollywood and Japan. The 2016 Toho offering, Shin Godzilla, finally saw the king of monsters return to his roots as an existential threat and not a goofy, kong-fighting beast. The film explored the real-world ramifications of a creature such as Godzilla actually destroying Japan. Shin Godzilla was directed by Hideaki Anno of Evangelion fame and was more of a think piece than an all-out monster film.
From what we can piece together, the new film will be a direct sequel to the first. It will be directed by Takashi Yamazaki who is known for Parasyte Part 1 and more. The official Twitter account tweeted out the announcement along with a logo for the film. Check it out.
There have been more than 3o films in the Godzilla series and it’s clear that the king of monsters has a special place in the hearts of fans and theatre-goers. Ever since his debut in the 50s, Godzilla has stomped his way to success on the big screen with Hollywood trying to capitalise on the trend with the god-awful 1998 Godzilla. The film changed everything about Godzilla and really wasn't about the giant lizard as much as it was about a big dinosaur. The film was directed by Roland Emmerich and was widely panned when it came out and still continues to be looked at as the black sheep of the Godzilla cinematic universe.
Finally, in 2016, Toho took the reins and gave fans and critics a Godzilla film that was worth the wait. If the new film is anything like its predecessor, we’re in for a wild ride.

AMD launches RDNA 3 based Radeon RX 7000 series flagship GPUs with up to 54 jump in performance per watt
AMD has taken the wraps off its highly anticipated Radeon RX 7000 series GPUs at a press event in Las Vegas today. Dr. Lisa Su, CEO of AMD opened the keynote, announcing the launch of the AMD RDNA 3 as the world's most advanced graphics architecture that delivers the future of gaming. She further added that AMD is focused on performance-per-watt leadership while focusing on developing high-performance GPUs for gamers and creators. The big story for AMD is that the new GPU achieves up to 54% higher performance per watt in comparison to the previous-gen flagship GPU from the company.
Based on the all-new RDNA 3 architecture, it is the world's first gaming GPU based on a chiplet design instead of the traditional SoC design. The chiplet design allows for better power efficiency and is also known to be cost-efficient. The AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX and the RX 7900 XT GPUs use 5nm GCD (Graphics Compute Die) and 6nm MCD (Memory Cache Die). The AMD RDNA 3 GPU offers 61 teraflops of computing power, a big jump in comparison to the RDNA 2 which does 23 teraflops. The RDNA 3 also brings in a new memory cache die that uses AMD's 2nd Gen Infinity Cache, boosting peak bandwidth by 2.7x to 5.3 TB/s in comparison to the RDNA 2 based GPUs. The AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX comes with 24GB of GDDR6 memory while the Radeon RX 7900 XT has 20GB of GDDR6 memory.
With these RDNA 3 based flagship GPUs, AMD intends to push the envelope for gamers gunning for high-resolution gaming at high frame rates. The RDNA 3 GPUs bring support for the latest DisplayPort 2.1 standard, dishing out 54 Gbps of bandwidth for 8K@165Hz and 4K@480Hz gaming.
AMD's own gaming comparison charts show the Radeon RX 7900 XTX pushing the performance by upto 1.7x in comparison to the Radeon RX 6950 XT for popular AAA gaming titles running at 4K resolution.
The AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX is expected to stack-up against the Nvidia Geforce RTX 4080, both of which are gunning for the sweet spot when it comes to high-end gaming. The India pricing and availability of the AMD Radeon RX 7000 series cards are not been officially announced yet, but one can expect the cards to make their way a bit later to the US release.

EA to launch an Iron Man Game as part of the 3-game deal with Marvel: Details
The Star War Jedi series release was a big step in EA's relationship with Disney, and now the company is focusing on building the relationship even further. As a result, Montreal-based Electronic Art Motive Studio announced it is working on the Iron Man game.
The Iron Man game, confirmed in September, would feature an original narrative based on the story of one of the most loved fictional characters Tony Stark (Iron Man), enacted by Robert Downey Jr., the Hollywood actor in the popular superhero movie franchise. In addition, EA's Iron Man game will be a single-player, third-person action-adventure game available on PC and consoles.
EA mentioned that the deal with Marvel gives it access to one of the most significant and widespread entertainment companies. The films based on Marvel comics have been an enormous success, and EA earlier collaborated with Walt Disney to develop a game based on the Star Wars movie franchise for PCS, consoles, and mobile phones. The first of those, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, was released in late 2019 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. EA gave it a next-gen update for PS5 and Xbox Series S/X in mid-2021. A sequel, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, is expected in 2023 on PC, PS45, and Xbox Series S/X.
