PlayStation 5 to restock in India on March 10: Here are the details

The Sony PlayStation 5 will be up for pre-booking once again. The pre-bookings are scheduled to be held on February 22, 12 PM onwards. The console was earlier available for pre-booking on February 7.

PlayStation 5

This year is turning out to be a pretty good year for gamers looking to buy the Sony PlayStation 5 because Sony is restocking PlayStation 5 pretty frequently. Previously, PS5 got restocked on February 22. According to a press release by Sony, the PS5 will be up for pre-booking from March 10 at 12 PM onwards.

The PlayStation 5 will be available for pre-booking on e-commerce platforms like ShopatSC, Amazon, Flipkart, Croma, Reliance Digital, Games The Shop, Vijay Sales and select other authorised retail partners.

Sony PS5 restock in India

While the console will now be up for pre-booking more than three times this year, it doesn't look like the shortage of stock is going to go away anytime soon.

The console is available for pre-booking with a God of War Ragnarök Bundle and a standalone PS5 disc version.

PlayStation 5

However, the prices for the PS5 have changed after the November hike. So, the price for the digital version will come down to ₹44,990, whereas the disc version of PS5 will be available at a price of ₹54,990. If you're planning to purchase The God of War Ragnarök bundle, you will have to shell out ₹59,390. This is ₹5,400 more than the Horizon Forbidden West bundle that was priced at ₹53,990 in August 2022.

PS5 restocks are occurring with a higher frequency in India, indicating that the supply of the console is improving. Last month saw two PS5 restocks in the country for the first time since its debut in 2020. Furthermore, local stores are now stocking PS5 units, leading to the conclusion that purchasing a PS5 is becoming much simpler in India.

3 upcoming Nothing product launches include Phone 2, Ear 2, and a speaker

One could say that Nothing had fairly successful releases in its first go. We got the Nothing Phone (1), Nothing Ear (1), and Nothing Ear Stick. Now, it seems like we are about to witness the successors. Nothing has started drip-feeding the news circulation with details about its upcoming products such as Nothing Phone 2, Nothing Ear 2, and Nothing speakers. Here’s what we know about them.

1. Nothing Phone 2

Nothing Phone 2

We first heard about Nothing Phone 2 during the MWC 2023 when the company chief Carl Pei and Qualcomm’s Cristiano Amon stood holding a T-shirt with “Phone 2” and “8” imprinted on it. Later, Alex Katouzian, Qualcomm SVP and GM accidentally revealed in a LinkedIn post that the processor in question is Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.

2. Nothing Ear 2

Nothing Phone 2

We have come across the leaked Nothing Ear 2 renders a while back, credits to Smartprix and OnLeaks. From those images, we learned that the Ear 2 could have a new position for the noise-cancelling microphones and some internal components.

The rumour is that we could get Personalized ANC, Transparency Mode, Dual Connectivity, Advanced EQ, and a Find Earbuds feature on the Nothing Ear (2).

The company has scheduled a launch event for Ear 2 on March 15, 2023. Perhaps, on the same day, we could hear about the Nothing Phone (2) and even the Nothing speakers.

3. Nothing speakers

Nothing Phone 2

From the renders shared by Kuba Wojciechowski via 91Mobiles, we get to see a boxy-shaped speaker with a bunch of buttons on either side. These could comprise volume rockers, power, etc. One of these is a red-accented button and there is also a protruding button. On the front, there are multiple speaker cutouts. Some of them could be tweakers and the rest could be sub-woofers. One of them also displays the ‘Nothing’ logo. We should have more details as we inch closer to the launch.
