Motorola is one of the first OEMs to launch a 5G smartphone and one could consider the Moto Z3 (2018) as the first 5G-capable mobile phone. However, the Motorola 5G phones we are about to see here aren’t like that. They have fully integrated 5G support. As per a recent TechArc report, the company has become an industry leader of sorts when it comes to 5G thanks to robust connectivity, coverage, and capability. Apple opened its first ever retail store in India on 18 April – Apple BKC and Apple Saket, respectively. And reports indicate both Indian Apple Stores have become the highest revenue generating electronic stores in the country in just over a month!

According to a report by the Economic Times, the Apple stores at Mumbai and Delhi have generated ₹22-25 crores worth of business each in just over a month. That’s right, the report states that the revenue is twice as much as an average electronic store in India on non-festive timelines.

Well, now we can say out loud that the brand has been celebrated for its brand value.

Apple store

The first day, April 18 for the Mumbai store and April 20 for the Delhi store, the footfall of customers was over 6000 in each store. Apple reportedly sold over ₹10 crores worth of Apple products in each of the stores on their respective opening days.

The deputy minister for information technology, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, in conversation with Reuters mentioned, "I am very confident that this Apple-India partnership has a lot of headroom for investments, growth, exports and jobs - doubling and tripling over coming years,"

In addition, Apple has also branched out the partnership between the tech giant and the world’s largest smartphone market, India by achieving 25% share of contribution in India’a ‘Make In India’ drive. According to India Cellular and Electronics Association data, the smartphones exported from India last year were 50% dominated by iPhones .

Moreover, Apple has established a tight grip around the Indian customers giving the brand the highest revenue generating electronic store in the country. However, an analyst that was mentioned in the ET report suggested that Apple as a brand has a higher average selling price of products and hence, that can be the reason for the brand to be the highest revenue generating store.

Unlimited night data from 12 am to 6 am on Vis new prepaid plans

Vi has been losing customers recently due to its poor 4G speed and questionable 5G strategy. But the one good thing about Vi is its unlimited data at midnight, judging by the fact that people are majorly hooked up on the web at night.

So, now they have decided to make amends to its users and offer 5G connectivity and unlimited night data by introducing two new plans. They have also launched another plan which is valid for 250 days.

Let's have a look at what these plans have to offer.

Also read: VI Prepaid Mobile Recharge Plans in India

Vi ₹17 Prepaid data plan

This plan has a validity of 24 hours with unlimited night data between the hours of 12AM and 6AM. This offer doesn't have any outgoing SMS facility or anything for calling. This is basically for simply accessing the internet. So, if you want to call or text someone then you need a separate plan for that.

Vi ₹57 Prepaid Data Plan

This plan on the other hand has more to offer. It is valid for 7 days and also has unlimited night data. But, this too doesn't have the calling and SMS facilities.

Vi's 250 day Prepaid Plan details

So, this plan is valid for 250 days and comes for ₹1999. The plan offers unlimited calls and 100 SMS per day. Except for this provides 1.5 GB of data per day. The data speed is reduced to 64Kbps when the daily limit is crossed. Also, if you finish your daily 100 SMS quota, then it will be chargeable for ₹1 per SMS.

These were the plans that Vi has recently introduced and the 250 day plan seems like a steal deal. So, if you are a Vi user you can give this a thought.
