Battlefield 2042 Review: Is This the Future?

Battlefield 2042 review: a first-person shooter that has totally ignored the campaign mode. Developed by EA DICE, Battlefield has long been known for single-player campaigns and 64-player lobbies. Ditching both, the game is now completely a multiplayer game with 128-player lobbies. It gets three modes — All-Out Warfare, Hazard Zone, and Portal — with some being a ...

After suing third-party manufacturers, Sony is looking at launching its own custom PS5 faceplates

PS5 faceplates are coming soon, according to Sony’s latest patent. The PS5 faceplates remained a topic of controversy ever since the launch of the gaming console. Third-party plate makers like dbrand attempted to launch their own custom PS5 faceplate several months ago but Sony struck them down with a lawsuit.

Finally, a year after the launch of the PS5, Sony seems on the path to releasing official PS5 faceplates. Although no official communication from Sony’s side suggests any PS5 faceplate launch, the repeated lawsuits from the console manufacturer do point towards an official product launch in the near future.

Latest Dual sense Controller Suggests PS5 Faceplate Launch

Sony recently released a PS5 Dual sense controller in Red-Black accents further supporting the theory that it could release new special edition gaming consoles in the future. For the PS4, we saw multiple limited edition colours based on popular titles like Spiderman, God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, Last of Us and many more.

Sony hasn’t had any big first-party release since PS5’s launch last year. Two major PlayStation studio games - Horizon Forbidden West and God of War: Ragnarok - are set to release in 2022. As a result, we can most likely see a custom Faceplate or a limited edition PS5 next year.

Sony also has a bunch of brand new IPs coming to this generation including Marvel’s Wolverine and Ghostwire: Tokyo, so PS5 will probably have more custom or limited edition units compared to PS4.

Albert Einsteins century-old calculations now sold for an astronomic 15 million

Albert Einstien is one of the most revered and important figures in human history. His theories and calculations have led to the birth of modern astrophysics and a better understanding of the mysteries of our universe. So, it comes as no surprise that a document of calculations that belonged to the renowned physicist has been sold at an auction for a whopping $14.98 million. Roughly around, Rs 1,11,66,96,084 converted. Now, that’s a lot of money! The paper was written by Einstein and Swiss engineer, Michele Besso in 1913. Earlier, we reported that a job application filled out by the late Steve Jobs was auctioned off for $343,000 (Rs 2,54,80,320 approx converted). That auction did not nearly fetch the amount that Einstien’s manuscript did.

Albert Einstein

A listing on the official Christie’s auction house website described the manuscript as, “The Einstein-Besso manuscript documents a crucial stage in the development of the general theory of relativity, often described as the most beautiful theory in physics, and one of the single most important ideas in modern science. It is a 54-page working manuscript written jointly by Albert Einstein and Michele Besso between June 1913 and early 1914.” The listing continues to state, “Einstein's scientific autographs from this period, and more generally from before 1919, are rare. As one of only two surviving manuscripts documenting the genesis of general relativity, it provides a remarkable insight into Einstein's work and a fascinating glimpse into the mind of the greatest scientist of the 20th century.”

If anything, this goes to show exactly how influential Einstien was and is on the modern world. His theories and calculations have so many far-reaching effects that we’re still seeing the application of his work to this day. Also, remember that all these insane and complicated calculations were done almost exclusively by hand as there were no electronic gadgets like calculators then.
