A day after it made way to its official website in China, Lenovo has launched the Motorola P30 in the country with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 636 chipset and rear dual-cameras for Bokeh effects. The smartphone is available in Ice White, Bright Black, and Aurora Blue back panel colours. The 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant of the Motorola P30 is priced at CNY1,999, which is approximately Rs 20,000, and the 6GB + 128GB storage version of the phone costs CNY2,099, that converts to approximately Rs 21,000. The smartphone is available for pre-order in China and there is no word about its global availability. Motorola P30 Specifications The Motorola P30 sports a 6.2-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution. There is a notch, a chin and the bezels are quite thin. The aspect ratio of the display is 19:9. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 636 chipset which is clocked at 1.8 GHz and is supplemented with Adreno 509 GPU. Motorola has unveiled the phone with 6GB RAM but two storage options: 64GB or 128GB. When it comes to camera, the phone features an iPhone X-like rear dual-camera setup with 16MP + 5MP sensors developed by OmniVision. The primary lens has a f/1.8 aperture, while the secondary comes with an f/2.2. The camera has PDAF, 1080p video shooting capabilities and there is dual-tone LED flash. The selfie shooter has a regular 12MP sensor with f/2.0 lens and 1.25 um pixel size. The fingerprint scanner is placed on the back marked with the Moto logo. The phone will run on ZUI 4.0 on top of the Android Oreo 8.0 OS. The user interface was first introduced in the ZUK smartphones, which are now discontinued. The UI skin was again seen on the Lenovo Z5. It is expected that the company would present the smartphone at IFA Berlin later this month. The Motorola P30 comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack, USB-C port on the bottom and 18W fast charging to juice up the 3,000 mAh battery.
