The Realme 2 Pro is the successor of the Realme 2 which was launched last month at a starting price of Rs 8,990. At the end of the event, Madhav Sheth, Chief Executive Officer of Realme India had teased thatthe Realme 2 Pro will launch in September. The time had come and after multiple leaks, Realme will unveil the Realme 2 Pro at Amity University, Noida today. The launch of the device is being held at a college campus to promote the company's youth oriented marketing strategy. The Realme 2 Pro is the company’s its second smartphone after it got separated from Oppo. You can watch the event live on Flipkart from 12.30PM onwards. Like, the Realme 2, the Pro will be a Flipkart-exclusive handset. Realme 2 Pro Specifications The Realme 2 Pro is the high-end version of the Realme 2 and based on leaks and teasers, it is expected that the smartphone will sport a waterdrop notch on a 6.3-inch Full HD+ edge-to-edge display. Realme claims that the smartphone is the world’s first Dewdrop Fullscreen at this price. The smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. In the camera department, The Realme 2 Pro could bring a dual camera setup and feature a fingerprint sensor. It may also feature Face Unlock. On the front, there would be a single camera owing to the waterdrop notch. There is no news on the camera sensors and we’ll have to wait until the event to get a confirmation on the specs. The Realme 2 Pro is expected to ship with Android Oreo with ColorOS skin atop. It may house a large 4,230mAh battery. As for the price, Sheth had said that the smartphone will be priced under Rs 20,000. The smartphone was recently spotted on Geekbench with a score of 1452 in the single-core tests and 5511 in the multi-core performance.
