Motorola launched the Motorola Power One (Review) on September 24 in India. The smartphone comes under Google's Android One programme and will go on its first sale at 12PM on Flipkart today. The company announced that the Motorola One Power is a made in India product and that 100 percent of its units are manufactured in the company's facility in Chennai. The handset was first announced during the IFA 2018 event in Berlin and ships with a massive 5000mAh battery. Motorola One Power price stands at Rs 15,999 and during the launch, the company announced some offers for those interested in buying the device. Jio users who purchase the Moto One Power will get to avail benefits of up to Rs 4,450, which will be applicable only on the Rs 198 and Rs 299 plans. The benefits are divided into discounts and cashbacks. Users will also receive Jio Instant Cashback vouchers worth Rs 2,200 and cashback vouchers from Cleartrip worth Rs 1,250. There is also a Myntra discount of Rs 1,000 included in the deal. There is little information on Flipkart regarding the offers and it is expected that the page will be updated as soon as the sale goes live later in the day. The Motorola One Power generated a lot of buzz thanks to its stock Android Orep finish and promise of timely OS updates. The phone features a 6.2-inch Full HD+ “Max Vision” display with 19:9 aspect ratio and a notch on top. It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset, also found on the Xiaomi Mi A2 and the newly launched Nokia 7.1. The chipset is paired with the Adreno 509 GPU. It will be among the first devices to get the Android 9.0 Pie update and a stable update is expected to hit the phone by the end of the year. The smartphone comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be extended up to 25GB via a microSD card. The photography responsibilities are given to the 16MP + 5MP dual-rear cameras with f/2.0 aperture and 1.12μm pixels. The main camera supports capturing 4K video recording. On the front, the Motorola One Power sports an 8MP sensor with a f/2.0 aperture and 1.25μm pixels which is housed inside the notch along with a mic, earpiece and a front-facing flash. There is a fingerprint sensor on back panel, which also sports the company's logo. Further, the Motorola One Power is fitted with bottom firing Dolby Audio speakers that are claimed to deliver audio at levels of up to 84dbs. Dobly Audio is also supported when one plugs in headphones via the 3.5mm audio jack. Motorola says that the One Power comes with Widevine L1 certification, which means that it supports HD content streaming on Netflix. As mentioned above, the Motorola One Power comes equipped with a massive 5000mAh battery that is claimed to deliver two days power. The smartphone comes with company's TurboPower charging tech, which the company says can deliver up to 6 hours of power in 15 minutes of charging. Motorola is also bundling a 15W Turbocharger in the box.
