Flipkart is hosting the "Big Billion Days" sale from October 10 to October 14 and during these days, the online retailer usually delivers promising deals and good discounts across a wide gamut of electronic items. Samsung is looking to take the advantage of the sale and is offering discounts on several devices and has announced that it is offering discounts on a few selected smartphones during the sale. Under the offer, Samsung’s flagship device, the Galaxy S8 (64GB) will be available at a price of Rs 29,990 after getting a flat discount of Rs 20,000. Previously, Samsung had slashed the prices of the flagship smartphone from 2017, to Rs 49,990 following the launch of the Galaxy S9 series. The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ were the first to introduce the wide-aspect ratio Infinity Display on phone and sport dual-edge curved Quad HD+ AMOLED displays certified by Mobile HDR Premium. The Galaxy S8 has a 5.8-inch display panel and is available in 4GB RAM/64GB local storage variants. The smartphone features a 12MP Dual Pixel camera and a 3000mAh battery. It also comes with Samsung Pay, the mobile payment service and an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered virtual assistant Bixby. Among other smartphones that will be available at attractive prices is the Galaxy On6 (64GB) which will be available at a price of Rs 11,990. The South Korean giant is also offering offers on other Galaxy smartphones, including the Galaxy J3 Pro, which will be for Rs 6,190; the Galaxy On Max and Galaxy On Nxt (64GB) that will be priced at Rs 11,990 and Rs 9,990, respectively. Samsung’s first triple rear camera smartphone, the Galaxy A7, will be up for grabs at an effective price of Rs 23,990. When it come to tabs, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A T355Y will be available at its lowest ever price of Rs 11,999, the company notes. Flagship tablet, the Galaxy Tab S2, will sell for a price of Rs 21,999. Samsung’s flagship smartband, the Gear Fit 2 Pro, will be available for Rs 8,999. Samsung says that these prices will be exclusive to Flipkart and will not reflect on any other retail store. The Galaxy devices will be available at No cost EMI and 10 percent Instant Discount, if purchased through HDFC Bank Debit and Credit Card. Flipkart is also offering exchange offers on Galaxy smartphones.
