A well-known Swedish e-commerce website, Webhallen, has listed the ‘Ultimate Limited Edition’ OnePlus 6T on its platform, complete with a white box bearing the OnePlus logo and the in-display fingerprint scanner logo that has been teased by OnePlus in almost all its 6T campaigns till now. The Swedish retailer has not detailed the limited edition OnePlus 6T, but has said that the device will go on sale 5 days ahead of the official launch of the smartphone in New York. In the product description, the website writes, “Ultimate Limited Edition has a higher price than the device itself will have on sale but the content will more than compensate the higher price tag.” Only 100 copies of this so called Ultimate Limited Edition OnePlus 6T will be sold on the Swedish e-commerce platform. “In the package we will include a OnePlus 6T as well as a host of secret things,” Web Hall writes in the product info. The special device will also be delivered a day before the official sale day. Just this weekend, OnePlus announced that it has moved up the launch date for the OnePlus 6T to October 29, in order to avoid a clash with Apple’s iPad and Mac launch event. The OnePlus 6T will feature an in-display fingerprint sensor and ditch the headphone jack. It will also be one of the first non-Pixel phones to launch with Android 9 Pie on board. Previously, OnePlus had launched special edition of the OnePlus 5T and OnePlus 6. The OnePlus 5T got a special Star Wars Edition, while the OnePlus 6 received the Avengers treatment. What’s in store for the OnePlus 6T Limited Edition smartphone? We’ll just have to wait a few days before we find out.
