It’s been four years since OnePlus and Amazon partnered to sell the former’s devices in India. The companies have announced new offers on the OnePlus 6T (review), which is sold exclusively on Amazon.in. One will be able to avail a Rs 1,500 cashback on purchasing the phone using a Citibank credit or debit card. Additionally, there’s a six-month no-cost EMI on the phone and an exchange offer, under which current OnePlus and Apple phone users will get to avail an additional Rs 3,000 off on exchange. These offers will come into effect from November 30 and will be valid across oneplus.in, all Reliance Digital, Croma, and OnePlus exclusive offline stores. It's not mentioned when the offer period will end. Vikas Agarwal, General Manager, OnePlus India, said in a statement, “As two companies that are obsessed with customer experience, OnePlus and Amazon.in were a perfect fit from the start. Over the years, our partnership has been an extremely fruitful one with both companies gaining insights from each other and using each others' strengths for mutual benefits. As we complete four years, we look forward to many more years of collaboration for better customer experiences and growth.” OnePlus 6T Specifications The OnePlus 6T was launched late last month in India and its Thunder Purple variant was recently made available. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, which is coupled with a maximum of 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage. It sports a 6.41-inch Optic AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch and sports an in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone runs on OxygenOS 9.0.2, which is based upon Android 9.0 Pie. It was recently updated to version 9.0.6. The device is backed by a 3,700 mAh battery, which is bigger than its predecessor. OnePlus says that it delivers 23 percent more runtime than OnePlus 6’s 3,300mAh unit. In terms of optics, the OnePlus 6T comes equipped with a 16MP Sony IMX 519 sensor with a f/1.7 aperture and a 1.12-pixel pitch, which is paired with a 20MP Sony IMX376K sensor that measures the depth of field. On the front, it features a 16MP sensor for selfies. Both, the rear and the front cameras come with OIS and EIS for stabilisation. This time, OnePlus has added a dedicated ‘Nightscape’ mode for low-light photography. OnePlus 6T Price OnePlus 6T starts at Rs 37,999 for 6GB+128GB variant while the 8GB+128GB variant will retail for Rs 41,999. The top-most variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage will be available for Rs Rs 45,999.
