The leaks regarding the Samsung Galaxy S10 have started to pick up pace. A lot of leaks about the phone’s built and features are already making rounds on the internet, with the latest one talking about the RAM and local storage of the flagship device. Citing GF Securities (Hong Kong), ITHome says that Samsung could launch a variant of the Galaxy S10 with a 12GB RAM and 1TB on-board storage. This could be the “ultra-premium” device that is reported to come with 5G support. Previously, a Wall Street Journal report said that Samsung will launch four smartphones on the tenth anniversary of the Galaxy S series devices. Three of these smartphones are expected to launch in February-March, while the fourth one may launch at a later stage. The three phones are said to bear the Galaxy S10 name while the fourth one may be called the “Beyond X” which is said to have a 6.7-inch display. It may feature a total of six cameras (two front-facing and four rear), and support for next-generation 5G networks. The “Beyond X” is expected to unveil when the carriers start offering 5G service to support it, which is expected to be during the Spring season in the US. It is also said that Samsung could add a ceramic back option to the some of the variants of the handset to add an X-factor to the premium devices of the four variants. Ceramic is a very hard material and is more resistant to scratches as compared to glass. Further, it has a polish and a shine that the glass back has a tough time matching. According to GizChina, the flagship Galaxy S10 may also come with an in-display fingerprint sensor and a punch hole camera with Infinity-O type display. Although not flawless due to the punch hole camera, this design could offer something different from the notch or a pop-up camera to offer an edge-to-edge screen experience.
