Xiaomi just launched its Redmi Note 6 Pro and it will go on a special sale today, which the company is calling the Black Friday Sale. Only today, buyers will get to avail additional discounts when they purchase the phone. The Redmi Note 6 Pro features minor updates over its predecessor. It gets a slightly larger screen with a notch on top and a 19:9 display aspect ratio. The main cameras have been revamped and there are now dual front-facing sensors on the device. Both the cameras support capturing bokeh images and in terms of OS, the phone runs on MIUI 10 out-of-the-box. The Redmi Note 6 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC, coupled with an Adreno 509 GPU. It comes with 4GB and 6GB RAM and both the variants sport 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. The smartphone features a 6.26-inch full-HD+ IPS LCD screen with a 19:9 display aspect ratio. The display has a 1080x2280p resolution and is protected by a 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass. The phone runs on a 4000mAh battery, which is said to last up to 2 days on a single full charge and alongside face unlock, it comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. In terms of optics, the Redmi Note 6 Pro features dual 12MP + 5MP sensors on the back. The 12 MP sensor has a 1.4um pixel pitch and it’s paired with a f/1.9 aperture lens. The main camera supports dual auto-focus and comes with Scene Recognition feature. There’s also a 5MP secondary sensor for enabling depth perception in bokeh shots. On the front, the notch houses a 20MP main sensor that supports 4-in-1 pixel binning and there’s also a secondary 2MP depth sensor. The Redmi Note 6 Pro goes on sale today at 12 PM via Flipkart, Mi.com and Mi Home Stores. It comes in Black, Rose Gold, Blue and Red colours. It has been launched in two memory variants, one with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage that is priced at Rs 13,999. The other model features 6GB RAM, coupled with 64GB of onboard storage and it will cost you 15,999. Only during today’s Black Friday sale, the phone will be discounted by Rs 1,000 and priced at Rs 12,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variant and Rs 14,999 for 6GB + 64GB variant. Additionally, those who purchase the phone using HDFC credit/debit cards and on EMI will get to avail Rs 500 instant cashback.
