OnePlus has announced that it is now releasing the OxygenOS 9.0.7 update for OnePlus 6T smartphones. The update brings some bug fixes and system improvements, along with enhanced performance for slow-motion videos. The update will also add an audio tuner for bluetooth headphones. OnePlus says that this is an incremental update, which could mean that the next update will bring the latest Android security patch. Google has already released the December security update for its Nexus and Pixel devices. As per the changelog of the OxygenOS 9.0.7 Update, the OnePlus 6T will get improved bluetooth stability for better connectivity, optimized stability for Wi-Fi connection, and improvements in standby power consumption. The company also claims that it has fixed some display issues for lock screen wallpaper. In the camera department, the performance for slow-motion videos has been improved and an audio tuner for bluetooth earphones has been added. The announcement comes a few days ahead of an event in which OnePlus is expected to launch the McLaren Edition of the OnePlus 6T smartphone. The company has partnered with the Britain-based automaker McLaren to launch the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition smartphone. The device is expected launch in India on December 12. The phone could have 10GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage. In the previous update, OnePlus fixed an irksome bug because of which there were no notifications showing up from the Play Store. It also brought some system-level implementations and fixes for telecommunications and third-party apps. Additionally, some optimisations were also implemented to the phone’s imaging capabilities. There were additional improvements to the overall Face Unlock experience on the phone. The patch also optimised standby power consumption, which means that users should be able to squeeze more phone runtime.
