It looks like the newly announced Vikendi map will be making its way to PUBG Mobile sooner, rather than later. The new map will be available as a part of the 0.10.0 update to the game. Other new additions include a new weather mode called snow and the new map also gets an exclusive vehicle - the snowmobile. Instead of Apples, Players will be able to engage in snowball fights on Vikendi’s spawn island. The new map will be available for download from 0:00 UTC (5:30AM IST) on December 20 and will be available for matchmaking 24 hours later. It should be noted that the PUBG Mobile beta v0.10.0 is already available, but does not include Vikendi yet. Besides this, the 0.10.0 update for PUBG Mobile also brings a whole host of new features. It will bring a new control layout for players with large hands. Additionally, there will be a display for Crew Challenge Winners on Erangel’s Spawn Island and the name of Season 1’s winning team will appear on the Spawn Island in their respective servers and modes. There are also some new thematic changes made to the game like a snow theme for the main menu. Further, players will be challenged to collect bells from all Classic Mode matches and then exchange them for rewards. Matchmaking has been changed as well and cross-server match-making gives players a chance to be matched with others of the same tier on other servers. Further, those who repeatedly exit matches right after starting will now be banned from playing for a short time.
