Key Highlights: The 4GB RAM version of the Realme U1 goes on sale today There is a Rs 1,500 discount on the phone, but with a catch The Realme U1 runs on the MediaTek Helio P70 SoC The 4GB RAM variant of the Realme U1 is going on sale today and as the company announced earlier, it will be available with a Rs 1,500 discount. The Realme U1 was launched late last month and is the first device to be powered by the MediaTek Helio P70 SoC. It features a dual rear camera setup and sports a Dewdrop notch display. The Realme U1 sports a 2.5D glass finish with ‘Light Pillar design’ and comes with a fingerprint sensor on the back. The smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and Realme claims that AI Face Unlock feature can unlock the smartphone in 0.1 seconds. Realme U1 Specifications and Features The Realme U1 sports a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display with 90.8% screen to body ratio and as mentioned above, sports a Dewdrop notch. It runs on the Octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 processor, which was announced back in October, and is backed by a 3500mAh battery with AI Power master technology, which is said to analyse and help conserve the phone’s battery. In terms of optics, the smartphone features a 13MP + 2MP dual-rear camera setup that supports capturing images in portrait lighting, bokeh and super vivid modes. It can also record slow-motion video at 90fps in HD resolution. On the front, the handset features an AI-powered 25MP sensor with f2.0 aperture and 1.8um pixel size. The front camera supports Hybrid HDR, group selfie features, selfie bokeh effect and AI face detection. Realme U1 Price and New Discount Offer Realme has priced the 3GB RAM model of its Realme U1 at Rs 11,999, while its 4GB RAM variant costs Rs 14,499. One will also be able to avail Rs 1,500 instant discount on the handset but it can only be availed when purchasing the phone via HDFC Bank debit and credit card on EMI transactions. Additionally, the discount can be availed for a limited period of time, between December 21 and January 2.
