Highlights: Samsung Galaxy S10 has reportedly gone into mass production already The production has started earlier for the complex features the S10 will reportedly bring The next Galaxy flagship will features like triple-rear camera, ToF sensors, punch-hole front camera, 5G and more Samsung reportedly have started the production of the Galaxy S10 earlier than expected. The next flagship S-series phone from Samsung is expected to launch ahead of Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February. With rumoured features like an in-display fingerprint sensor, punch-hole front camera and and more, the Galaxy S10 is going into mass production much earlier for all the complexities involved. The news comes as a tweet from German publication known for accurate leaks. The reason for the early mass production is a radical change in design and a new form factor. Furthermore, the Galaxy S10 is rumoured to come with features like a TOF 3D camera, ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and 5G modem and antennas, which means there’s much more to assemble and manufacture than before. All the variants of the Galax yS10 will be powered by the 7nm Exynos 9820 while the US variants will come with the new Snapdragon 855 under the hood with up to 12GB of RAM. Rumours also suggest Samsung will launch four variants of its flagship next. The Galaxy S10, S10 Plus and S10 Lite. There could also be a fourth variant with a ceramic body and 5G connectivity. The first three phones are expected to have Super AMOLED displays of 5.8-inch, 6.1-inch and 6.4-inch respectively with a higher screen to body ratio as Samsung will reportedly implement a O-shaped front camera on the corner of the display and stretch the display all the way to the top. That’s Samsung’s way of getting around the pesky notch. Furthermore, the S10 Lite will allegedly have a dual cameras setup on the back while the other two will come with a triple-camera stack. The launch event will reportedly take place on 20th Feburary in Barcelona, a week before the commencement of MWC 2019.
