The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 has finally been launched in India. The phone will be available in three variants 3GB/32GB, 4GB/64GB, and 6GB/64GB. The Max Pro M2 is the first budget smartphone by the Chinese company that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6. The Max Pro M2 predecessor the Max Pro M1 was launched earlier this year with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor. We are comparing the two devices to see what’s different the company has to offer with the Max M2 Pro in comparison to its predecessor. Display The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 sports a slightly bigger 6.3-inch FHD+ display that offers a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels and comes with an aspect ratio of 19:9. The phone has a traditional notch on top of it, which houses the front-facing camera and a speaker. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6, which is very rare to see in a budget smartphone. The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 features a 5.99-inch IPS LCD display that offers a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. The device comes with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The phone does not have a notch on top like most of the other latest smartphones in the market. Processor The Max Pro M2 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor. The phone is launched in two variants 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB. The internal storage is expandable via a microSD card to up to 2TB. The Max Pro M1 is backed by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor and available in three variants 3GB, 4GB, and 6GB RAM options. The internal storage of the Max Pro M1 is also expandable to up to 2TB via a microSD card. Camera The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 features a dual rear camera. The setup consists of a 12MP primary camera and 5MP depth sensor. On the front, the company has given a 13MP unit. The Max Pro M1, which is a predecessor of the Max Pro M2 also features a dual 13MP + 5MP rear camera with an 8MP front shooter for clicking selfies. Price The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 is launched in India with a starting price of Rs 12,999 for its base variant 3GB/32GB, while its 4GB/64GB and 6GB/64GB variants are available for Rs 14,999 and 16,9999 respectively. The phone will go on sale exclusively on Flipkart from December 18. The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 is available on Flipkart for Rs 10,999.
