Highlights: Leak suggests that the Honor View 20 may cost Rs 35,999 in India The phone comes with a 48MP rear camera and an All View display It will be the first phone in India to be launched with a punch-hole camera Honor is launching the View 20 (First Impressions) in India on January 29 and it will be the first phone in the country to sport an All-View display, which means it will incorporate the selfie camera inside a cutout in the LCD panel. Amid a lot of chatter, the India pricing of the phone has been leaked, and it will cost the buyers Rs 35,999. If the pricing is true, the phone will fall in the same category as the OnePlus 6T, which was launched at a starting price of Rs 37,999 (6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant). In Europe, the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is priced at 569 euros (approx Rs 46,000) and the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant costs 649 euros (approx Rs 52,500). In China, the phone costs CNY 2999 (approx Rs 30,000) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and CNY 3499 (approx Rs 35,500) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. There is no solid information on what variants the company will launch in India, but reports have suggested that only the 6GB RAM + 128GB variant will make its way to the country. Reportedly, the smartphone will be hitting the market in Midnight Black and Blue Sapphire colours. The Amazon-exclusive device is already up for pre-booking and those interested can visit this link to pre-book it. The USP of the phone is the All-View display, a 48MP rear camera and the Link Turbo technology, which the company claims enables faster download speeds by leveraging both Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity. Honor View 20 specifications The Honor View 20 features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ All-View display, offering a resolution of 2310x1080 pixels. The All-View display is an edge-to-edge panel with a punch hole in it to incorporate a selfie shooter. We have already seen this setup in Samsung’s Galaxy A8s and the company calls it the Infinity-O display. Huawei says that the circular cutout on the top left corner is 4.5mm in diameter. There is a glass back panel with V-shaped pattern under the glass. Under the hood, the Honor V20 has an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 980 flagship chipset, which is manufactured using a 7nm process. The same processor powers the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. The device also has GPU Turbo 2.0, a technology that the company claims boosts performance and graphics during gaming sessions. There is a liquid cooling system to keep the CPU temperature in check. The photography responsibilities are on the dual rear camera setup that comes with a 48MP Sony IMX586 CMOS sensor that uses pixel-binning technology to give a 1.6 micron pixel. The second sensor is used to capture depth. The punch-hole in the display houses a 25MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture. The phone draws power from a 4,000mAh battery with super fast charge support. The Honor V20 runs Android Pie 9.0 with Magic UI 2.0 on top. Related Read: Unboxing and quick look at the Honor View 20
