Highlights: The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT with 12GB RAM listed on Geekbench It scores more-or-less similar to the 8GB RAM variant Lenovo took the world by surprise when it announced the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT as the world’s first smartphone powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. It also became the first ever phone to boast a 12GB of RAM. The smartphone is already available for pre-booking and it will go on sale from January 24. In what could be called as the first glimpse of what it can offer in terms of performance, the device has been seen scoring between 3083 and 3306 points on single-core tests, and between 9166 and 10418 points in multi-core tests. GizmoChina reports that the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT (First Impessions) has a model number of L78032 and the multiple the listings of the same model number that appeared on January 18 all feature 12GB of RAM. It also says that the listings of the Lenovo L78032 Z5 Pro GT that are present below the January 18 listings are of the 8GB RAM variant. Interestingly, the listing shows that the 8GB RAM variant of the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT scored between 3269 and 3303 in single-core tests and between 8989 and 10896 in multi-core tests of Geekbench. This shows that the scores of the 8GB RAM variant and the 12GB RAM variant are more-or-less same, hence, they may deliver similar performance. There are four variants of the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT. The first variant offers 6GB RAM and 128GB storage and is priced at CNY 2,698 (approx Rs 27,700). The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant is priced at CNY 2,998 (approx Rs 30,800), the third one with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage costs CNY 3,398 (approx Rs 41,100) and the top variant with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage is priced at CNY 4,398 (approx Rs 45,100). Lenovo announced this phone after it launched the its first triple camera phone, the Lenovo Z5s, at an event in China. The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT has same design but gets some extra elements, like the back panel is protected by glass with a carbon imitating pattern. There are red accents on the top rim, the rear camera sensors, and the bottom half of the slider. The other specs of the phone are the same as the Lenovo Z5 Pro. Lenovo Z5 Pro GT specifications The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT features a 6.39-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, and offers a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 1080x2340 pixels resolution. It runs on ZUI 10.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie and packs a 3,350mAh battery. In the camera department, the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT has dual rear camera setup with 16MP Sony IMX519 sensor having an f/1.8 aperture and a 24MP Sony IMX576 sensor along with an f/1.8 aperture. There is a dual-tone LED flash below the centrally aligned camera module. The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT also has a dual camera setup on the front that with a 16MP shooter with an f/2.2 aperture and a secondary 8MP IR sensor for Face Unlock functionality.
