The View 20 is the first smartphone by the Chinese company that features a 48MP camera at the back. The phone has a punch hole cut out on the front for a selfie camera, which makes this device almost bezel-less and ideal for those who spend most of their time watching movies or reading blogs on their phone. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy A8s is almost similar to the View 20 in terms of design. The phone has a punch hole cut out at the front for a selfie camera and a triple camera setup on the back. Let’s do a quick specs comparison of the two to know which device is better when it comes to hardware at least on paper. As you can see in the sheet above, the Honor View 20 features a 6.39-inch display that offers a resolution of 1080 x 2310 pixels, while the Samsung Galaxy A8s sports a slightly bigger 6.4-inch screen that offers a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. When it comes to the processor, the Honor View 20 is powered by a Kirin 980 octa-core processor, which is coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal memory that is not expandable. On the other side, the Samsung Galaxy A8s is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 octa-core processor, which is paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal memory, which is expandable to up to 512GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Honor View 20 has a 48MP camera on the back, which is accompanied by a TOF 3D camera. On the front, the device has a 25MP sensor. The Samsung Galaxy A8s has a triple 24MP + 10MP + 5MP rear camera along with a 24MP selfie camera. The Honor View 20 has been officially launched in India today. The phone will go on sale tomorrow via Amazon. Interested buyers can also get a 5% discount on making payment through the bank’s debit or credit card. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy A8s is expected to make its debut in India very soon this year.
